Watch What Happens Live - Season 11

Teresa Giudice seemed utterly confused about what happened during her sentencing, as evidenced by her appearance on WWHL, where she claimed to not understand what she was doing when she signed a guilty plea. #WTFTeresa. Now comes a report that after receiving 15 months and 41 months in prison, Teresa and Joe Giudice have fired their attorneys!

Teresa’s crisis PR Manager Wendy Feldman confirmed the Giudices are no longer working with their attorneys. “There is no need, their lawyers’ job is done,” she revealed of the Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars.

jacqueline and chris have a stay-at-home date

Jacqueline Laurita loves to leak information – and she also loves to skip Real Housewives Of New Jersey reunions! This will mark the second one Jacqueline did not attend, as she revealed on twitter she had prior engagements during this Sunday’s filming.

When a fan asked Jacqueline if she attended the reunion, she explained, “No. I was a keynote speaker at an Autism conference in CA.It was more important.” She does insist that she was invited however, clarifying “I was invited.”

 jacqueline laurita's daughter ashlee holmes

Ashlee Holmes claims she officially quit Real Housewives Of New Jersey, but by the amount she talks about her “claim to fame” I’d beg to differ! After Dina Manzo made a snippy comment directed towards estranged sister Caroline Manzo on this week’s episode, Ashlee erupted on twitter prompting her step-cousin Lexi to comment. Dina also contributed her elusive, saying everything by saying nothing, zen two-cents, as well.

“I just think it’s hysterical how someone who claims to be so ‘zen’ can’t just let another adult do her job,” Ashlee began, directing an insult at her Aunt Dina, not sure what that was even referring to.

Melissa Gorga Breaks Her Silence: ‘We Are Heartbroken’

Melissa Gorga has remained pretty quiet about her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, and her husband Joe’s recent legal troubles. After they were each sentenced to prison on Thursday — she received 15 months, he got 41 months — I kept expecting to hear something from Melissa regarding the entire situation.

But all we had heard out of her was a response to a fan’s tweet about being glad that the drama being documented for the Real Housewives of New Jersey and for the world, was not actually about drama between the families.

“I’m so glad @melissagorga & @joegorga are able to sit back, relax & watch someone else’s family drama for a change,” the fan wrote, to which she replied, “Lol.. For once! XO”

But now, Melissa has broken her silence.

Teresa and Joe Giudice sentenced to prison

Last week, Teresa Giudice learned her fate on multiple fraud charges — 15 months behind bars for her and 41 months for her husband Joe Giudice.

Luckily the judge showed some leniency for the parents of four daughters and are allowing the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars to stagger their sentences, allowing one parent to remain home with their daughters while the other one serves their time.

Teresa is up first and has to report to prison by January 5, 2015. So as she prepares to spend 2015 — plus a little of 2016 — away in prison, she received some advice from someone you may have never seen coming: Orange Is the New Black author Piper Kerman.

lauren-manzo-recap

Welcome Back Manzos!!!  It’s a full house this time around on Manzo’d With Children as Albie Manzo and Chris Manzo have moved back home to save money to start their own business (another business? what about the bar? what about BLK water?).  I’m curious how much money they actually save by living at home.  You take away rent and utilities and groceries that definitely helps.  However, I imagine they are still going out to bars, restaurants and shopping – which is where most of my income went at that age anyway. The key to saving money is actually making money (I’m assuming the Bravo salaries are plentiful) and so far every scene has been the boys lounging around at home like it’s summer vacation.  Maybe the cameras are just capturing the weekends – but do these guys have any job right now??? Even if they are earning money from BLK or the restaurant on the side – that still requires doing some work.  This Manzo business idealism throws me for a loop.  Wanting your children to be their own boss in their early 20s might not be the best idea, Caroline Manzo. There is something to be said for busting your butt for a company, learning all the ropes and then maybe after 5-10 years you can be confident enough to do it independently.  I have a feeling moving home had more to do with the show than saving for their “business ventures”.   Sorry, I had to rant on this topic, it irks me to no end.

Watch What Happens Live - Season 11

Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice spoke out for the first time since their prison sentences were handed down on Thursday.  The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars sat down with Andy Cohen for a special edition of Watch What Happens Live.  And let me summarize it for you: Teresa thinks she’s a victim in this, y’all!  A VICTIM.  Nope, she hasn’t learned a single lesson.

Andy opens the show trying to keep the twinkle out of his eye recapping the Giudices’ federal prison sentences: Joe will sit for 41 months and Teresa for 15 months.  He says that he wishes he were seeing them under happier circumstances and the mood is grim, as expected.  Andy starts off asking how they’re doing.  Teresa says she feels like she’s numb and things feel surreal.  “All I keep thinking about is my daughters.”

The drama surrounding the Giudice’s legal matters continues to unfold. Joe Giudice was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison, followed by two years of supervised release. Teresa Giudice landed herself 15 months. During the course of the Giudice’s fraud indictment it emerged that despite living in the US for the majority of his life, and being married to a US citizen, Joe isn’t one himself, and therefore faces deportation after he serves his time.

Joe’s immigration attorney, Jerard Gonzalez, says that proceedings for a possible deportation will not begin until after Joe’s sentence is completed, however experts connected to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) said that officials could decide to expedite proceedings at any time – even while the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star is still behind bars!

“They could come pick him up tomorrow. I doubt they would do that,” says immigration attorney Edward Shulma (who is not connected to Joe’s case).“They want them to do most of the time.”
