Are you looking to move? Want a new house? Do you have $26 million burning a hole in your pocket? If so, I've got the perfect place for you in Beverly Hills! Unless you've been living under a rock, in which case you probably don't care for a mansion in L.A.'s illustrious zip code, you've heard that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'Adrienne Maloof is divorcing her plastic surgeon husband Paul Nassif.
The couple was notorious for their constant bickering on the show, but now they have taken their feuding to an entirely different level. Both sides have alleged abuse and bad parenting, and I feel like their attorneys are constantly filing emergency orders with the court. I would have never foreseen this couple splitting up, but I certainly couldn't have predicted how nasty it would be! Now, the pair has put their family home on the market…so I am guessing that any chance of a reconciliation is slim to none.
There is a lot happening in the lives of the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars. Kim Zolciak has finally unveiled baby pictures of new addition Kash Kade, and it seems the family has purchased a new home. No more Big Poppa livin'? It's the end of an era!
Meanwhile, as Kim focuses on being a happy wife and mother, NeNe Leakes has her eye on the prize…and that prize isn't starring on RHOA. Has NeNe been bitten hard by the acting bug?
Today I had the awesome experience of being the live guest blogger on Anderson Live. You can catch all my tweets about the experience on twitter (@realitytea or #AndersonLiveBlogger).
Things started off chaotic – an east coast tornado warning delayed my flight and I didn't get in until 1am. I had to be at the studio at 7am. I almost left the hotel in two different boots, but fate intervened and I snapped to.
For someone that works from home and rolls out of bed around 9 to guzzle coffee while percolating about Housewives that was some crazy. However everyone at Anderson Live is totally used to it – and amazing! How they have so much energy I'll never know, but it was fantastic!
It was really exciting to be backstage and see the inner-workings of a show I watch all the time. I'm a big Anderson Cooper fan (didn't know if y'all were privy to that). Also exciting - CYNDI LAUPER as in 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' 80's anthem was the co-host! The other guests were Jon Cryer from Two and A Half Men and the Bayou Billionaires from CMT's hit reality show about real-life Beverly Hillbillies.
Last night was the first ever Dance Moms reunion, with the show's executive producer Jeff Collins mediating the crazy. I really couldn't be more excited that Lifetime jumped on this bandwagon. Let the insanity fly! It's a two parter as well, which is always nice!
Abby Lee Miller faces off with the Kelly, Christi, Holly, and Melissa. Jeff is admittedly nervous, and I can't say I blame him after he shows an "everyone's replaceable" montage followed by some highlights of lighthearted moments interspersed with Abby threatening the moms. Why do I love this show so much? It is truly amazing, and we're only two minutes into the episode.
Jeff questions the ladies about Abby's teaching style. Christi believes that Abby is harsh with some students while being overly kind to others. Holly, an educator for over twenty years, believes that Abby's direct message is usually on target, but her delivery is off base. Melissa, of course, sings Abby's praises. Abby thinks that the mothers have too much time on their hands. Dance moms of years past weren't as privileged and didn't have the luxury of leaving their jobs to hang out in the studio. Plus, Abby believes that kids these days get a trophy for just being born…and I couldn't agree more.
Evelyn filed the paperwork to get the ball rolling to end her union just four weeks ago. At first Chad wasn't on board and thought he could fight to keep his marriage despite that whole headbutting/domestic violence incident. He caved in and filed his paperwork late last week and it's already finalized and over after a Florida judge signed off on it.
