Real Housewives of New Jersey

Watch What Happens Live - Season 11

Six weeks after finding another lump in her breast, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Amber Marchese has underdone a partial mastectomy. As you’ll recall, Amber had a double mastectomy six years ago during her first battle with breast cancer, but the cancer has returned.

“The surgery was close to four hours,” Jim Marchese told E!. “They removed the tumor and more than 20 millimeters surrounding it. She was in a good deal of pain last night. She’s been resting and she is coming home today. After this, she’ll have five weeks of radiation and then another surgery.”

Lauren Manzo bridal shower

Lauren Manzo is one step closer to being Mrs. Vito Scalia today, as Caroline Manzo hosted Lauren‘s garden themed bridal shower yesterday.

Jacqueline Laurita, Kathy Wakile, Rosie Pierri, Lexi Manzo, and Melissa Gorga were in attendance. No sign of Dina Manzo. Jacqueline made sure we knew that the shower – and Jac – were filmed for Manzo’d with Children.

As we previously reported, Manzo’d with Children‘s been granted a season 2 with Bravo, who was pleasantly surprised by the spinoff’s 1.27 million viewers average. I predict Vito and Lauren‘s summer wedding will serve as the season two finale. In the meantime, check out photos from Lauren‘s shower below.

Teresa Giudice

Prepare to be WOWed by a post-prison Teresa Giudice!

Teresa Giudice signed on for Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7!

Oy. I cannot decide which of these headlines is more “bang my head against a brick wall” worthy. Ugh. Probably the second one, because the first comes from Teresa‘s lawyer, who’s being paid (maybe) to say things like Teresa’s “strength and resolve” amaze him. <side eye> And there’s more where that came from.

“December 23rd is her release date,” Teresa‘s lawyer, James J. Leonard, told E! News. “There is a possibility that could be moved forward. That’s something we’re actively working on. She will be home for Christmas. I know that means the world to her. Christmas in her house is a big event. When she gets out, she will be on what they consider home confinement, but she will not ultimately be confined to her home. She’ll be free to travel about with certain restrictions until February 5th.” If released on December 23rd, Teresa will have spent 11 months and 18 days of her 15-month sentence behind bars.

Melissa Gorga gets a new boob job

Melissa Gorga is doing some regular Real Housewives maintenance – updating the old boob job!

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star recently got glam to go under the knife and replace her aging implants after 13 years. Melissa posted a photo on instagram asking fans to wish her luck for the procedure, which she claims was doctor mandated.

Amber Marchese cancer diagnosis

Amber Marchese confirmed today that her breast cancer has returned.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star told People that her doctor called her with the news on April 23. “I was just sick to my stomach,” shared Amber. “I can’t even begin to describe the feeling you get when someone says you have cancer. Then to get it again after you thought you fought it and thought it was behind you. I was thinking, ‘This is definitely it. I’m going to die.'”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 6While Teresa Giudice hangs out in prison teaching exercise classes, emailing, and getting her hair done, turmoil roars around the status of Real Housewives Of New Jersey

There’s been a lot of speculation that Bravo is delaying the 7th season to accommodate Teresa’s release from prison, which is due to happen sometime around the end of this year, in theory. Joe Giudice said Teresa was done with RHONJ unless offered ” a lot of money” – well, has she been offered that moola?! (Goodness knows she needs it!) because her attorney says she’s in the process of negotiating a contract with the network.

Teresa’s attorney shared that she will most-likely be returning to RHONJ if terms can be agreed upon – and really why wouldn’t she because it’s basically The Teresa Show. “Anyone who has watched that show since the very first episode understands that Teresa Giudice is the central figure around which the show revolves,” her attorney James J. Leonard Jr. says.

Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen wants us to believe the drama on Real Housewives is genuine. <fits of laughter> I know, right? It’s real, he said. It’s all about casting the right, highly emotional women, he said. And if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you, he probably said to himself.

Andy addressed the scripted complaints that plague the franchise, actually the majority reality shows these days, in a recent interview with Attitude Magazine.

Andy insisted the real housewives drama is real, adding, “We cast very highly volatile, emotional, driven, opinionated women, and because of that, they go to town. And you sit down with them at the end of the season and they all have it out with each other. It’s really fun.”

Teresa Giudice Fabellini Bottle Signing

Olive green & gray is the New Black for Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, who’s traded borrowed designer dresses for standard-issue prison jumpsuits these past 4 months in the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut. Rumors recently surfaced that Teresa was showcasing her “diva-like” behavior while in prison, seeking special treatment and not complying with prison protocol.

Nothing could be further from the truth, says Giudice’s lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. “Any reports that she is behaving like a diva in prison and not getting along with inmates and the staff is 1,000 percent false,” he says. “She is getting along well with everyone – staff, inmates – all the way down the line.”
