Oh good lord – it's as if the reality TV gods realized all had been quiet on the Real Housewives of New Jersey front because now comes swirling rumors of a casting shakeup.
Now bear in mind these rumors come from RadarWrong-line so they may or may not be true, but here comes an exclusive report detailing who's in and who's out for season 5.
The most surprising news regardsTeresa Giudice. Now regardless of whether you like Teresa or not Bravo knows she brings ratings and controversy – she's basically been the plot and main character of this show for two seasons now. Apparently Joe Giudice's legal problems have become the make or break item that determines if Teresa will return – or if she'll be getting a spinoff!
know what they say…if you're not being featured on every episode of a reality show, the best thing you can do is make the media rounds so people either A) don't forget about you, or B) (in the case of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' "star" Marisa Zanuck) know who you are before you're ever seen on the small screen. We won't see Marisa until the eighth episode of RHOBH (yes, you read that correctly…THE EIGHTH!! That's not even a friend of a housewife, is it Dana Wilkey?), but she's bombarding our favorite blogs with controversial interviews. I may just like her. :)
You may recall Marisa has already talked smack about Real Housewives of New Jersey'sTeresa Giudice and revealed that Lisa Vanderpump is nice…when the cameras are rolling. Now, she's talking about how awful her co-star Taylor Armstrong is. The lady is all about making friends, isn't she? Not that I blame her…with the exception of my pink puff of fabulousness known as Jiggy's mom, I think she's probably spot-on with her personality perceptions.
In a new interview with Star Magazine, Teresa is once again defending Juicy and insisting he "loves" the gays!
"Joe came to the gay bar with me, and we had so much fun!” Teresa shares. “It’s so obvious he is not at all homophobic." Well, maybe he should stop using the F-word that rhymes with hag colloquially. Should I define that for the Giu-DOUCHE-es?
Is there anyone from the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey who isn't embroiled in legal drama? Kidding! That is totes a rhetorical question! Once again, I'm glad I have more sense than money (although given my bank account, that may not be saying much!). What is it about being rich and on reality television that leads people to make shady decisions? That question you can answer!
With all of the ladies spewing illegal and scandalous secrets on the reunion, of course we're going to be hearing more and more about these woes in the coming months. First up is the lawsuit that Jacqueline Laurita and her family are facing. It ain't pretty, y'all…that's for sure!
The Gorgas may still be without power, but that didn't stop them from celebrating! The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars apparently planned ahead for Superstorm Sandy, called their hair and make-up peeps, strapped on their Halloween costumes and posed for a family picture before the storm hit.
Melissa Gorga dressed up as a Devil (I'll let the Teresa Giudice fans supply the jokes) andPoison Gorga was just "On Display." The entire fam went with a devil theme it looks like and the kiddos look absolutely adorable. "We didn't get to trick or treat but we took pics before #sandy Happy Belated Halloween!" Melissa tweeted.
*Remember: Be nice to the kids. Kids are cute – and they are also innocent and positive. And no matter what RHONJ lady you favor, you have to admit they make some pretty darn adorable children.
As I sit here and plow through my son's Halloween candy (hey – he's only 2!) while I work, I'm even more thankful that my family and loved ones are safe after Superstorm Sandy. While several reality stars found themselves in the middle of a storm (and not one manufactured by producers or caused by gossip and pettiness), the Real Housewives of New Jersey undoubtedly – and as usual – were some of the hardest hit as they are in the epicenter of a hurricane.
Several of the ladies lost power for days and even worse had their shore houses destroyed in the process. Here's an update on how everyone is doing post-Sandy as New Jersey begins to rebuild.
And just a quick comment: Caroline Manzo has been updating her twitter with relief stations and information for victims. Apparently annoyed followers have decided to unfollow because of too many tweets. Seriously people? Have a heart. While Caroline only lost followers (and electricity) – SOME PEOPLE lost everything. Empathy, people, empathy.
Teresa Giudice had several appearance scheduled for this week and canceled them all. She has been cooking to help out friends still without power.
