On this week’s episode of 16 and Pregnant, sixteen-year-old Danielle Cunningham of Columbus, Ohio finds herself pregnant with boyfriend Jamie Alderman, a high school drop-out, after only a few months of dating. I fancy myself to be devoid of most human emotion (kidding…kind of), but this installment was heartbreaking to me.
We learn early on that Danielle had aspirations of becoming a lawyer which were quickly curbed by her partying ways. Her mother Casey, who gave birth to Danielle at sixteen, sends her wild daughter to live with her grandmother (Casey’s mother) forty-five minutes away, which is where Danielle meets Jamie. Once pregnant, Danielle moves back in with her mom, who feels overwhelming guilt for putting her daughter in the same situation she was in as a high schooler. Jamie, looking forward to fatherhood, visits his girlfriend often (thanks to the help of friends and family, as he has lost his drivers’ license–prerequisite for being on this show??). He reveals that he likes Danielle because they have “actual conversations;” however, if these awkward talks are what the young folk are deeming “actual conversations” then most of the chatty people I know are extreme over-achievers in the verbal world.

Steve called Phillip crazy, because you know, he kind of is, and Phillip decided the word “crazy” was racist and equivalent to the n-word. Here’s to hoping Kelly Bensimon isn’t reading this and getting any ideas.
In a new interview with PEOPLE following his elimination on the show, the 51-year-old (he’s only 51?) former NFL Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle discusses his time on the show, how his faith helped him, and touches on the whole Phillip issue. Excerpts from Steve’s interview below -
Did you ever play up your “weakness” for strategy?
No. I wear my feeling on my sleeve and if I was saying that I was feeling it, I was feeling it. But I’d also get out of it pretty quick; it just depends on when it was. It’s an emotional, physical, and mental roller coaster the whole time you’re out there. One minute you’re starving and the next you are saying, ‘Okay, I’m just not going to eat today.’ And you just deal with it and get over it. It’s pretty amazing just keeping the faith and setting short term goals and getting through it.
Does faith play a large role this season?
God’s been a big part of my life and I attribute everything to God. Julie had walked away from God and was going through a really terrible time with her divorce and the foreclosure. Mike and I just spent time talking to her and she re-dedicated her life so it was a pretty big topic out there. Plus lying around all day and night, you really get in to what your soul is all about when you’re around each other 24/7. We were going through some pretty crazy and difficult times together and having faith just really helps a lot so we talked about it.
Phillip alluded to being in on the joke that he is “crazy”. Do you believe that?
Any great actor couldn’t act it 24/7 for a month. The real you is going to come out sooner or later and its just really exposing him for who he really is. I highly doubt that he was a special agent or anything like that. I called him “crazy” and all of a sudden he thought that that meant the N-word. I just think he’s mentally and emotionally unstable and I think Jeff did a good job exposing it. I’ve gotten great response from my family, friends, and teammates. The guy is who he is. I think he’s just a few bricks short of a whole load. He’s a bit loony.
Meanwhile on tonight’s all new episode of Survivor, Andrea takes part in her first Redemption Island duel. Back at camp, one castaway plots making a big move that could prove to be costly. The episode airs at 8/7c on CBS.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON STEVE’S INTERVIEW? DO YOU THINK PHILLIP IS REALLY CRAZY OR JUST PRETENDING TO BE?
Similar to the scoreboard from Monday night, landing in the bottom two were Ralph Macchio, who had to dance through a knee injury, and Romeo, who gave two solid performances.
Ultimately, the viewers decided there was still a lot of dance left in Ralph as Romeo, 21, and his partner Chelsie Hightower were eliminated.
“I’m surprised because that was one of my best dances last night,” said Romeo. “But I’m not surprised, because of the competition this year — anybody could go at any time, but we went out with a bang. That’s the most fun I had in my life… I was terrified of dancing,” he added. “I didn’t dance at my own prom… I think I’ve showed kids anything is possible if you try.”
Romeo then expressed his gratitude to his partner Chelsie. “I wanted to do this for you. We can dance after this,” he said. “I’m super happy and so proud of you,” responded Chelsie.
Next week is the semi-finals, airing at 8/7c on ABC.

After famously quitting Celebrity Apprentice on Sunday night following weeks of yelling, Nene Leakes made the press rounds yesterday! The above photo was taken Monday as she walked the streets of New York City.
Nene’s actions came as a surprise to most fans of the show considering she had vowed to take down her rival Star Jonesjust a week earlier. And it seemed she had the perfect opportunity to do just that after Donald Trump moved her to the other team as Star stated she no longer wanted to work with her. There are also reports that came out months ago stating that behind the scenes, Star had to hire a bodyguard to protect her from Nene, who made physical threats against her. Whatever the case, Nene decided to quit the show without informing her teammates or saying a proper goodbye.
“I call my own shots in life, I do whatever I feel, and when my gut tells me to do something, I follow my gut feeling,” Nene toldAccess Hollywood Live on Monday. “I felt like it was a toxic situation for me and for my own sanity and health reasons and everything else, I decided to leave the show,” she continued. “Star was absolutely being manipulative and backstabbing and all those things, but the final straw for me was when Mr. Trump decided to switch me, take me out of my comfort zone to accommodate Star.”
Oh but it gets better as the Nene feels the Donald disrespected her by moving her to a new team. “I felt he was disrespecting me,” said Nene. “I’d rather be around people who love and care for me. I don’t want to be in toxic situations, So, I decided to say, ‘Bye,’ because I don’t think you have to be backstabbing and lying and manipulative to raise money for a charity… we’re not on ‘Survivor!’” Funny to hear Nene say she doesn’t like being in “toxic situations” when she’s usually the one creating the said toxic situations, you know, by getting into people’s faces and continuously yelling at them.
Oh well, Nene also added that she will be in attendance for the show finale. “Absolutely I will be back on the finale,” she revealed.
As for the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 4, Nene confirmed it has indeed began filming. “We’re shooting our fourth season,” she said. “We’ve been shooting for about three weeks.”
Meanwhile, John Rich gave an interview days ago during which he called Nene out on doing the show for personal gain and not for her charity.
“You’re standing there with somebody who’s not on the show for their charity,” he explained. “It’s all about [NeNe's] attitude and wanting to have all that drama. And that’s been the separating factor. Why are you here? If you’re not raising money, you must be here for yourself. Last night, I was able to visit a 5-year-old St. Jude patient and present a check for $649,000. If Trump fired me next week, I’ve still done what I set out to do.”
John makes a valid point as Nene failed to raise any money for her charity, going 0 for 2 when she was the project manager before ultimately quitting.

As the second season of Bethenny Ever After comes to a close, everything Bethenny Frankel has been working towards throughout the season culminates with the speaking tour to promote her new book A Place of Yes and the sale of Skinnygirl Cocktails. Bethenny’s reason for going on tour: the most rewarding part of what she does is talking to women and sharing her experiences and the only way to accomplish this is to sell tickets to hear Bethenny espouse her knowledge and ideas since we don’t get to hear this weekly in the form of her show. This episode also contains lots and lots of talk about babies! Not just Bryn, but future Hoppy offspring presumably arriving in the very near future! Guys – here’s your trailer for next season: Bethenny: Baby Number Two? Since this show took place on a speaking tour and a tour bus, it was very dialogue heavy, with lots of footage of the tour and the bus, until the end when the results of the big sale of Skinnygirl are revealed. Then things get a little exciting.

The new series will follow Bristol, 20, and her son, Tripp, 2, as she moves from Alaska/Arizona to Los Angeles to work for a small charity in need and move in with Kyle, 19. Kyle’s older brother, Chris Massey, 21, will also appear on the show.
“Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to,” said David McKillop, Executive Vice President, Programming, A&E Network and BIO Channel. “Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she’s opening up her real life, with her and son and her friends the Massey brothers.”
If you recall, Kyle also appeared with Bristol on the previous season of DWTS, and the two have apparently since become best friends. “Bristol and Tripp have to move to Los Angeles for her new job, she decides to move in with the Massey brothers who are also about to realize how much their lives are about to change,” says the press release.
The new series is set to debut in late 2011.

While the cast of the Jersey Shore was more than ready to take their GTL to Italy, it seems Italy wasn’t all that ready for the guidos and guidettes.
We reported last week that the cast departed for Italy to begin filming their 4th season on Monday (yesterday). Well those plans have now been put on hold despite the fact that some of the cast members, including Mike ‘The Situation‘ Sorrentino and Paul ‘DJ Pauly D‘ DelVecchio, were already filmed packing their bags and arriving at the airport. MTV has reportedly now asked the cast to be patient and hang tight.
And while some media reports are claiming the delay was caused by the city of Florence revoking the show’s permits to film at certain several historical landmarks, a new report by TMZ states the delay was caused because the President of Italy is planning to visit Florence this week. Florence also happens to be the same city the cast will be filming in.
Sources say MTV decided it would be too much of a hassle to try to shoot around the security and hoopla over the President’s visit on Thursday, so they simply decided it would be best to delay shooting until late this week. MTV confirmed as much with a rep for the network telling THR, “Production on Jersey Shore will begin this week, following the Italian presidential visit to Florence. In the ongoing spirit of cooperation, we’re waiting until his official visit concludes to start filming.”
So there you have it folks, season 4 of the Jersey Shore in Italy is still on!
Meanwhile, one person who would like to keep the cast in Italy for all eternity is New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Christie once again spoke out against the show, making it clear he would like the cast to get out of New Jersey, like for good.
“They parachute these people onto the Jersey Shore and try to make America think these are Jersey people, and they’re not. They’re New Yorkers,” Christie said last Thursday during a four-hour appearance on CBS Corp.’s WFAN. “They ought to take them out to Montauk, all the way out on the point, and leave them there. And don’t drop bread crumbs, so they can’t find their way back.”
Christie also added that he would like the none New Jersey natives of the cast to “go back to New York.” The governor said he asked New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to “take them back.” Ouch!

Tonight was the second part of the Bad Girls Club Season 6 Reunion, and it can almost be summed up like this: The girls hate Char, Nikki seems to be back in good graces, brawl with Char, bleeping out every other word, host Perez Hilton dressed in a gold toy soldier (or 1920′s newsboy?) outfit, bleeping, extension yanks, bleeping, more Char hate…and let’s top the whole thing off with a cake fight. Recap. Done.
Seriously, though. Char’s antics on the show alienated the girls who considered themselves her friends and were shocked to see what she said about them in her interviews. Jessica, my personal favorite, seemed especially hurt because she and Char did appear to have a genuine friendship throughout the season. Jennifer (the Jersey native who only lasted a few episodes and annoyingly talks out of one side of her mouth) had the most to say to Char, stopping only when audience member–and Char’s cousin–told her she was “gonna get dog walked.” Do you think that phrase is copyrighted, or can I introduce that into my every day conversation? Because I really want to start saying it.
I found it odd that the ladies hated Char but were willing to forgive the always instigating Nikki. However (and I guess it makes sense from a Bad Girls standpoint), all the girls felt that at least Nikki stayed true to herself and wasn’t fake and backstabbing like Char. Nikki was annoying when she moved into the house, and she was just as annoying when the season ended. Strangely enough, minus a few scuffles with Char, the girls were very nice to one another, even those who had been mortal enemies in the house. While this made it easier to follow along with the reunion (less security involvement = more actual conversation), it was pretty lame. Personally, I like when people get along, I can understand what they’re saying, and I never find out who is (or isn’t) actually sporting undergarments, but for a Bad Girls Club reunion, it’s the tamest yet.
Of course, even when they are talking (and not fighting), it’s hard to understand the girls, as their constant screaming during the first half of the reunion has rendered them all incredibly hoarse. However, without words, it’s clear that Wilmarie’s dress is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen and former past season Bad Girl Tanisha is the only lady from the whole franchise with a legitimate job…even if that job is hosting Love Games 2 featuring has-been Bad Girls (I’m talking to you, Natalie Nunn).
HillbillyLauren and Jessica have let bygones be bygones, and it’s clear–even as castoff/deserters Sydney, Ashley, Jennifer and Jade return to dish–that all’s well that end’s well…except when it comes to Char. Funny, I do believe that Char got in the least amount of physical fights, which just means all the other girls were fighting EACH. OTHER. Whatevs, all is fine and Char is the bad guy…until Perez has BGC alums Amber and Kristen (love her!) bring in a birthday cake for Jessica’s big day. He starts a cake fight and it’s all fun and games until Kori gets cake in Jade’s hair. It’s hard to tell if they are joking or killing each other (hint, it was the latter), but Jade’s family comes at Kori. Once separated, Jade trashes a dressing room (which let’s be honest, it’s a BGC club dressing room, so all she really did was knock over a folding chair) and gives the viewers what they have come to expect from these reunions…less love (seriously, they all get along now except for Char??) and more “dresses hiked up, faux hair pulling, every word bleeped out” kind of entertainment.
Keep your shirts pulled down and your beads around your neck…Season 7 is leaving Los Angeles and heading to the Big Easy, New Orleans! It is set to debut July 11 on Oxygen.
