And then there were six. In a predictable turn of events, the lowest scoring star got the boot on Tuesday’s results show of Dancing With The Stars.
Yes, wrestler Chris Jericho and partner Cheryl Burkewere sent packing following their lackluster Tango on Monday night. Chris’s elimination proves this season is still up for grabs as just a week ago, he was tied for second place.
Chris, 40, was however a great sport about his elimination. “It’s actually good timing, because I have to fly over to England for the royal wedding,” he joked upon hearing the news. “No, but honestly, it wasn’t my best dance last night, and at this point you have to be your best because everyone’s so evenly matched,” he added.
Chris then went on to praise his partner Cheryl. “The only reason I got this far is because of Cheryl. She’s a great performer, she’s become a friend for life…I haven’t seen my kids in four weeks, so it’s time for Chris Jericho the Dancer to step aside and Chris Jericho the Daddy to come back.” he said.
Meanwhile, former American Idol contestant Pia Toscano gave her widely talked about performance during which her new beau Mark Ballas and Karina Smirnoff danced while she sang “I’ll Stand by You.”
And of course show host Tom Bergeron had to ask Pia about her romance with Mark. Tom didn’t ask if they were dating, simply asking her if Mark was a good kisser. “He’s a wonderful person,” was Pia’s reply. Well played Tom Pia. Well played.
The remaining six contestants live to compete once again next Monday.
In a new interview with CNN, Vicki, 48, actually feels that the Bravo hit show definitely contributed to her separation from husband of 16 years Donn Gunvalson.
“Six years ago when Donn and I started, we didn’t have 90 percent of the problems that we have now and I truly believe it is the show,” says Vicki who filed for divorce back in October. Vicki and Donn, who were still living together following the filing, have since listed their OC home for sale last month.
Along with the show, Vicki also blames her busy career for her split from Donn. “[W]e had a good foundation. We really felt like we could battle it and the reality was I got too busy for him. My business in itself – I have 400 agents and 12 employees and I’m at the office a lot because I was trying to film TV in there and then he felt deflated… the center of my universe was not my husband,” she says. “I didn’t have anything left for him and we grew distant. If I didn’t have the show I would have had more time for him. That’s the reality.”
Vicki goes on to add that while being on TV played a role in the failure of her marriage, it’s also a matter of life playing out in front of the camera.
“Look there’s gonna be divorces and there is gonna be deaths like when Lou Knickerbocker died. We didn’t expect that,” says Vicki. “[T]his is the reality and if you are throwing your life on a reality TV show, you have to be prepared for the consequences.”
While no one will ever fully know all that went wrong with this marriage, I can’t help but wonder if Tamra Barney’s divorce had an impact on Vicki’s decision to leave Donn. Perhaps Vicki is feeling the grass is greener on the other side and that she will find her own ‘Eddie’ though she might come to realize there aren’t a lot of men who will put up with her shenanigans Donns out there. Plus back in March, Vicki insinuated to UsWeekly that she wanted Donn to fight for her which makes me wonder if she really thought the whole divorce thing through or if this was a failed attempt to get Donn’s attention. Whatever the case, the couple is moving forward with their divorce.
Once again, below is a preview clip of the upcoming episode of the OC Housewives, which sheds some light on Vicki & Donn’s marital issues.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON VICKI’S COMMENTS? DO YOU THINK REALITY TV CAUSES MARRIAGES TO FAIL?
Jill Zarin isn’t just sporting a new look, but the Real Housewives of New Yorkstar got a (seemingly) new attitude. In a recent interview with Zap2it, Jill explains why she thinks she was judged so harshly last season, as well as why it was important for her to return to the show and set the record straight as “the real Jill.”
Well, folks, the real Jill thinks (probably hopes) you have the attention span of a five-year-old kid after a breakfast of fun dip and cherry coke (thanks, LFO). In the interview, Jill states, “The good thing about TV is people have a short memory and make decisions and such based on what they see in front of them at the time.” Hmmm, I understand the reason behind her thinking, but her logic is a bit flawed…what people are seeing in front of them so far this season is the same catty woman who talks behind people’s backs while begging to be seen as the likeable, unaffected (for the most part) lady we met in Season One.
“There’s no question that I think a lot of fans who questioned their feelings about me have come back to the nest,” Jill assures Zap2it. “I think because there were a lot of influences last year and that’s last year,” she adds. Safe to assume she hasn’t seen this poll.
Jill goes on to describe the relationship with her castmates as being similar to a summer camp. “I sort of visualize the show like the seven of us are in a bunk,” she explains. “And some of them will be your best friends. Some of them you’ll like a lot. And some of them it will be harder to get along with. We’re all in the same bunk, [s]o you do the best you can to try to get along with everybody all the time and it doesn’t always work, but you try.”
When it comes to the demise of her friendship with former costar Bethenny Frankel, Jill makes certain to put all the blame on Bethenny. “Last year, I don’t believe that was the case, because Bethenny was leaving the show and she had no reason to keep trying,” explains Jill. “She was moving out of the bunk. She knew she wasn’t coming back next summer, so she didn’t have to make up with anybody.”
Jill also credits her loved ones for encouraging her to return and show viewers the “real Jill,” you know, the one who refers to her costar as a “f*cking b*tch” on national television. “I spent a lot of time with my family and decided to come back to the show because I didn’t want to leave on a down note,” she says. “I needed to regroup and re-center.”
Jill goes on to say that she is happy with what was filmed for the fourth season. She cites it as her favorite season to shoot, saying she felt healthier than ever when filming began. So, while Jill and her fellow castmates make lanyards, roast marshmallows and sing songs around a campfire, I’m curious to know…would you want to bunk with this season’s Jill Zarin??
In fact, Leah, 19, has now moved out of the home she shared with Corey, 20, and their twin daughters. Leah and Corey were both photographed above in Clay, West Virginia on Monday as Corey handed over their twin daughters Aleeah and Aliannah, 16 months.
Leah was also pictured with a moving truck collecting more of her personal belongings from the couple’s Clay residence. UsWeekly reports the twins spent the weekend with Corey as part of a new agreement the couple brokered through their lawyers. A source tells the mag it had been weeks since Corey had seen his little girls, and Aleeah and Aliannah were “giggling and happy” to play with their father.
Leah and Corey had been separated for 2 weeks before Leah finally filed for divorce on April 14. While multiple media outlets have reported financial troubles played a major role in the separation, the current issue of UsWeekly magazine adds that infidelity may have played a major role as well.
“Leah thinks Corey cheated,” says a friend. US reports just weeks before their Oct. 17 wedding, Corey was seen flirting with several young women at a local Dairy Queen, according to a witness. Yes folks, at a local Dairy Queen.
It gets even better as on the very day Leah filed for divorce, Corey sent amorous Facebook messages to a “sexy fan” named Jordan Humble (a photo of Jordan is below) and met up with her at a local Wal-Mart that night. Yes folks, at a local Wal-Mart.
Despite the fact that Corey seems to be moving on so easily, a source insists to UsWeekly that he is “heartbroken” over the impending divorce. As for Leah, she reportedly “feels awful and really wanted the marriage to work.” Another source adds, “They are not in a good place right now.”

They’re baaack! The Kardashians that is, not that they ever really left or gave us time to miss them or anything.
It was announced yesterday that the first family of the E! network will return with the sixth season of their hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians on June 12 at 10/9c. And to celebrate the upcoming season, E! is having fans of the show vote for the official cast ad campaign. The two choices, the “White Hot” and the “Wild Side,” are above.
The Kardashian sisters Kourtney and Kim are both torn according to their personal blogs so they really want you to vote. You can cast your vote on E!’s website, and the winning campaign will be announced on E! News May 2, at 7/6c. Also feel free to cast your vote in our own poll below. Bigger images of both ads are also posted below.
In other news, there continues to be more speculation on whether or not an engagement is on the way for Kim Kardashian. For starters, she gave an interview to Life & Style magazine two weeks ago declaring she is marriage ready as well as fertile. Fast forward to yesterday, and the desperate E! star once again declared her love for her NBA beau Kris Humphries via twitter.
“Its hard to remember how it felt before, now I’ve found the love of my life…” tweeted Kimmy about Kris, the third love of her life in a span of less than two years, after the two spent Easter decorating eggs together. We’ll continue to keep our fingers krossed for Kimmy when it comes to getting that ring. Meanwhile, Kim took some time out of her desperate schedule to post some behind the scenes photos from her Cosmopolitan UK cover shoot. Those pics are below!
And finally, E! Online is reporting that despite her KUWTK reality show and three spinoffs, Kris Jenner still feels there’s a lot about her that we do not know already as the momager/part-time pimp has decided to pen a memoir.
“I look forward to writing a book that my children will be proud of and I hope they will enjoy reading my story from the very beginning, before they were born,” Kris tells E! News. “It is definitely one thing I can check off of my bucket list!”
Kris promises the book will touch on both her current marriage to Bruce Jenner as well as her first marriage to late O.J. Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian. The book is scheduled to be released in November.

According to a new report, not all reality stars are raking in the dough when it comes to their books.
The HollywoodReporter reported last week that Bethenny Frankelis the most successful of them all. Not only did she sell her Skinnygirl alcohol line for $120 million, but both of her first two books – which made the New York Bestseller list – sold a combined total of 480,000 copies!
New Jersey Housewife Teresa Giudice’s first cookbook – Skinny Italian – was also a hit as she sold over 100,000 copies.
Other Bravo housewives didn’t have as much luck starting with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes whose memoir ‘Never Make the Same Mistake Twice‘ flopped pretty badly. Nene’s book sold 10,000 copies according to the Perez Hilton blog.
Also flopping were Jill Zarin andDanielle Staub, as their books reportedly sold fewer than 10,000 copies each. The Jersey Shore reality stars didn’t fare much better as Snooki’s book sold 35,000 copies with The Situation’s book only selling 15,000 copies.
TELL US – ARE YOUR SURPRISED TO SEE MOST OF THESE BOOKS FLOPPED?
Following “American night” last week on Dancing With The Stars, the show returned Monday night with a very non cheesy “guilty pleasure night.”
And it was a good night as the first 10s of the season were handed out to two contestants. Romeoreceived the first 10 of the night for his lovely Viennese waltz with partner Chelsie Hightowerto Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” “Every once in awhile in a season, magic happens,” said judge Carrie Ann Inaba. “And that was magical.”
Romeo ended the night with a score of 28 as so did Disney starlet Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas. Chelsea and Mark received the second 10 of the night for their quick-step to “Walking on Sunshine.” “I’m getting a suntan from you!” said judge Bruno Tonioli. “You have so much zest. Splendid.”
And it wouldn’t be a typical DWTS night if a mishap didn’t occur. This week, actor Ralph Macchio suffered that fate when his partner Karina Smirnoff tripped over him during their paso doble to “Everybody Dance Now” by C+C Music Factory. The duo quickly recovered and ended the night with an okay score of 24.
At the bottom of the leaderboard this week and in serious danger of going home is wrestler Chris Jerichoalongside partner Cheryl Burke. The duo danced the tango to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” with Bruno stating the wrestler looked like “a lump of granite.” Ouch.
The results show airs tonight at 9/8c and someone will be going home. Below are the scores from last night -
Romeo & Chelsie Hightower: 28
Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas: 28
Hines Ward & Kym Johnson: 27
Kirstie Alley & Maks Chmerkovskiy: 26
Kendra Wilkinson & Louis van Amstel: 25
Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff: 24
Chris Jericho & Cheryl Burke: 22
In other DWTS news, it seems Mark Ballas, 24, and eliminated American Idol contestant Pia Toscano, 22, are still going strong. The new couple was photographed dining at a Beverly Hills restaurant on Sunday night. Also pictured with the duo were Mark’s mom (in the blue dress), and his fellow pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Those photos are below!
On the latest episode of Real Housewives of the O.C., Peggy Tanous and Tamra Barney channel their inner Ramodels, Gretchen Rossi gets immortalized on canvas, Vicki Gunvalson worries about her daughter’s Vegas vacation, and Alexis Bellino fancies herself the next Michael Kors (I am so sorry for the comparison, Mr. Kors). Former cast members Jeana Keough and Lynne Curtin return to make things interesting for Tamra.
Vicki invites Alexis over for a glass of wine to clear the air. Alexis is still droning on and on about Macegate. Vicki feigns interest in Alexis’ business endeavors while making little digs here and there. It’s all fine (yeah, right) with Alexis as she always tries “to do what Jesus would do.” Alexis tells Vicki that she’s not stupid, to which Vicki chastises, “Of course, not, you’re just young.” Alexis fires back, “I have a 48-year-old husband who has a lot of life lessons.” Um, Alexis, that statement did nothing but remind the viewers you married a much older sugar daddy…with a chimplant.
