Things continue to look dim for Teen Mom star Amber Portwood.

Following the news that she was being investigated by her local Police department for domestic violence against her ex-fiance Gary Shirley, a new report by the HollywoodLife states Amber could be facing felony charges. The reason? In Indiana, domestic violence in front of a child under 14 years of age can be a felony.

Amber will also be investigated by the Department of Child Services (DCS), who will reportedly interview her friends, neighbors, and other witnesses.

And it gets even worse for Amber as a new report by Life&Style magazine states Amber is not welcome in her hometown due to her behavior on the show, which includes physically attacking her child’s father Gary. The two have since reconciled and even exchanged promise rings.

Apparently, local businesses and residents in Anderson, Indiana are fed up with Amber’s antics. The owner of a local store has even gone as far as to ban Amber from filming any more scenes of the MTV hit show on its premises. “My stomach actually rolled while watching ‘Teen Mom,’” Randy Good, owner of Good’s Candy Store, told Life&Style. “Amber was filmed in the store, but now she’s gone — for good. I thought it was just awful, and because she’s local, it somehow made it worse.”

Amber has also received a lot of backlash from her local press.

And finally, despite reports that Maci Bookout was trying to get back together with her son’s father Ryan Edwards, it seems Maci is still going strong with new beau Kyle King.

The two were photographed showing PDA at a pumpkin patch in L.A. Monday. Maci has also denied the report that she is trying to get back together with her ex Ryan. A photo of Maci and Kyle below -

Week 5 of Dancing with the Stars brought us TV theme week, which had the stars and their partners dancing to the tune of our favorite classic TV theme songs.

Taking the lead this week was Brandy and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, as the two finally lived up to their potential (they were named the favorites before the season even started). The pair, who were also the first to dance, performed the quickstep to the theme song from “Friends” earning rave reviews and a score of 27. “It was, without doubt, your best dance,” judge Len Goodman said.

Coming in second place was Jennifer Grey and partner Derek Hough. The duo danced the foxtrot to the theme from “Married with Children.” They earned a good score of 25 as well as praises from Bruno who called it, “pristine, elegant, beautifully danced.”

In last place was Birthday girl Bristol Palin (she turned 20-years-old last night) and partner Mark Ballas. Despite donning a monkey costume to go along with their jive dance to the theme from “The Monkees,” the pair only earned a score of 18. Though Bristol received the lowest score of the night, she did hear some positive words from judge Carrie Ann Inaba. “Bristol, I’m so happy for you because this show is about making a transformation and trying someone new, and you really made a transformation,” said Carrie Ann.

The scores from last night below -

Brandy & Maks Chmerkovskiy: 27
Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough:: 25
Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya: 24
Rick Fox & Cheryl Burke: 24
Audrina Patridge & Tony Dovolani: 23
Florence Henderson & Corky Ballas: 21
Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer: 20
Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas: 18

TELL US – WHO SHOULD BE SENT PACKING TONIGHT?

An all new episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta coming our way at 9/8c tonight on Bravo.

On the third episode of the season, titled ‘White Hot,’ Kim receives the opportunity of a lifetime when she is invited to perform at one of the biggest gay circuit parties – the White Party.  But only having “Tardy for the Party” under her repertoire, is Kim ready for her first concert appearance?

Meanwhile NeNe continues to struggle with her son Brice’s brush with the law, and new housewife Phaedra continues to defend her husband Apollo and his shady, criminal past amidst rumors around town. But when it seems that Phaedra and Apollo don’t exactly see eye to eye when it comes to parenting, how will this affect their relationship? Find out tonight!

In other Atlanta news, RadarOnline is reporting that Nene Leakes’ marriage to hubby Gregg Leakes continues to be strained.  The latest is that Nene is very furious at Gregg all over the money he reportedly borrowed from Dwight Eubanks.

Despite Gregg’s denials on the show that he only borrowed $500 from Dwight, a source tells Radar that Gregg did indeed borrow $10,000. “Gregg lied to NeNe because he did get a $10,000 loan from Dwight and now she is really pi**ed at him.”

The source adds, “Money is a sensitive issue between them and NeNe cannot believe that Gregg would lie to her. She feels it has put her in an awkward position with Dwight because they are really good friends who confide in one another both on and off camera.”

Rosemary Holt, mother of Michaele Salahi of the Real Housewives of DC, is now speaking out in defense of her daughter.

In an interview with RadarOnline, Rosemary has some fighting words for Michaele’s co-stars following the Thursday reunion episode.

Rosemary described watching the reunion show as “heartbreaking,” stating that Michaele, 44, who she refers to as Missy, warned her ahead of time. “Miss said to me, ‘Mom, be prepared,’ and I see her not looking good on the show either. Physically I can see the strain in her face. What I encouraged her to do is ‘Miss, don’t get to their level,’” she said.

“I wish it would have been a nicer show,” she added. “Every single one of them [the Housewives shows] always has one [person] that gets more abuse than the others.” Rosemary even went as far as giving her opinion of each of the DC Housewives -

On Cat: “[She’s been] cruel. She wants that attention and who does she pick on?… My relatives call me and talk in Florida and New York. Cat wants the position that Missy has and I believe it… She needs to go back to England. She’s representing that country very poorly here. Very, very poorly.”

On Lynda: “She is a poor excuse for a mother too. Lynda rides the middle of the road most of the time in my opinion, she tries to play both sides.”

On Stacie: “Stacie is at least civil at times and if she doesn’t join the group I feel then she could be an outcast.”

On Mary: Rosemary claims Michaele recommended Lynda and Mary for the show. “When she was first interviewed for this she recommended some of the ladies—Lynda and Mary. I started watching it a year ago last March. I said ‘Miss, you don’t want to see this, you will be the one that they abuse!”

And when it comes to Michaele and husband Tareq Salahi’s financial troubles, Rosemary makes certain to take any blame away from her daughter. “It’s not Michaele and Tareq. Tareq started the Polo. Missy’s name as far as I know is not on paper, is only associated with him with her being as she always says, ‘I’m the fluff’ who walks around and greets everybody. Financially, Missy has no knowledge of the Polo game,” said Rosemary.

Rosemary also claims Michaele did not marry Tareq for his money. Apparently Michaele signed a prenup before marrying Tareq (his mother insisted), and she had her own money from her years as a makeup artist according to Rosemary. “She had her own assets. She had quite a bit of money going on that she earned on her own,” she said.

Jon Gosselin has lost yet another battle in his long drawn out war with ex-wife Kate Gosselin.

The latest was an attempt by Jon to keep his eight children off the TLC network. Despite his claims that his children are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues due to being on television, a judge shot down his request last week.

Following the lost court case, Jon took to his twitter to explain why he went to court, why he has yet to find a job, and admitting the filming rights of his eight children have been granted to Kate. Jon’s full statement below -

“As you may or may not be aware, I have been working for some time to remove my children from television. I do not believe being on TV is beneficial to any of them. They are no longer toddlers that are oblivious to what is going on around them. They are now six and ten, in school and desperately in need of a normal life.

Each of them has experienced negative effects of having their lives so public. Some are struggling with emotional and/or behavioral issues. My goal for my children is for them to have a normal childhood, and gain back their much deserved privacy. This is not about money, this is about my children. No amount of money is worth the price my children are paying. You cannot put a price on childhood. Money comes and goes, but you only have one childhood.

For those questions about money and support, I can say I am supporting my children to the best of my ability. All parties involved know the truth about this. I am and have been actively seeking employment. I have been barred from accepting entertainment deals that would generate income for my family due to contractual obligations. I am also actively looking for a job outside of the entertainment industry and so far, have not secured a position. In the mean time, I have been focusing on spending time with my children and providing a safe, stable, normal and private environment for them!

On October 13, 2010, I went to court to act in the best interest of my children- to remove them from television. The judge respectfully denied my plea, and granted filming rights to their mother. I honor the judge’s decision, but I do not support it. I will not stop fighting to remove my children from television. It is not a child’s job to support themselves, or a lifestyle, they need to be kids. I would like to apologize to my friends, family, and especially my children for not taking a stand earlier in my life and not questioning my decisions to have our lives documented and displayed. I will have to answer to my children for the rest of my life. I will have to live with this guilt the rest of my life. I am truly sorry!”

Jon’s motives in wanting to remove his children from television have been widely questioned as he only decided being on TV was detrimental to his kids after TLC removed him from the hit show Jon & Kate Plus 8, changing the name of the show to Kate Plus 8.

RadarOnline is also reporting that Jon violated a court order by going public with this news. Kate’s lawyer, Mark Momjian, tells Radar that “the court has previously entered an order restricting the parties from commenting on the underlying custody proceedings.”

A source tells Radar that the October 13 court case was a six-hour hearing, and that Jon’s arguments were ridiculous and the judge certainly wasn’t impressed – hence giving Kate the right to make the decision about the kids appearing on TV.

And so it begins.  Taylor Armstrong finds herself the first victim of the ‘Housewives Curse’ as a new report by TMZ reveals her husband, Russell Armstrong, filed for bankruptcy in 2005.

According to TMZ, the husband of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who can also be seen on the show looking totally disinterested in his wife, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy back in October 2005.

Russell and Taylor have been married for 7 years.
