Just days after Life & Style magazine reported E! reality star Kendra Wilksinson turned down Playboy because she wanted to lose more weight, Kendra is now attempting to set the record straight.
In a new interview with E!, the Kendra star actually admits she was planning to pose nude again in Playboy but explains she had a change of heart after her husband Hank Baskettfound out about it and had a talk with her.
The 25-year-old mother of one says she hired a photographer to take some test shots and get this, Hank didn’t find out about it until he came home one afternoon to find his wife posing in the living room in some skimpy attire.
“He didn’t yell at me,” Kendra says. “He wasn’t mad at me for doing that photo shoot. He actually sat down with me and he went over the reasons of doing it. And you know, my reasons weren’t right. I wanted to do Playboy for the wrong reasons. The wrong reasons are to prove people wrong, not to prove it to myself but to people and to put my middle finger up to everybody and be like, ‘I’m going to do Playboy!’ But that wasn’t the right reason, you know?”
Life & Style adds that Kendra’s first pictorial in Playboy was in 2005 with former Girls Next Door co-stars Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt.
So Kendra just basically admitted she was planning to pose for Playboy again behind her husband’s back. Must say this story isn’t helping shut down those reports of marital problems between the two.
We reported two days ago that Joe Giudice started a brawl by punching his brother-in-law at the Christening ceremony of his wife Teresa’s nephew, well it now seems there might have been good reason for Joe’s misplaced anger.
Teresa Giudice, star of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, graces this week’s issue of Life & Style magazine under the title, “Betrayed By Her Man.” The magazine cover (a bigger photo is below) goes on to state: ‘Teresa’s Sleazy Husband Caught With Another Woman.’
According to Life & Style, Joe has been leading a secret, double life – filled with regular visits to strip clubs. A former dancer at the Showoffs strip club in West Orange, NJ tells the mag that Joe was a regular at the strip club before it was closed down in 2006 amid accusations of prostitution.
“He was always up for a lap dance,” reveals the insider. “There was a lot of hanky-panky that went down in the club’s basement… If you had money, you could get pretty up close and personal with the strippers.”
Joe was also allegedly a regular at another NJ bar called the Latin Bar. A source says “there was one particular waitress Joe really liked there.” The insider recalls, “She was from the Dominican Republic, about 5 feet tall with big breasts and long, dark hair. Joe would always make sure that wherever he was, he could be back in Paterson on a Friday night so he could see her.”
And finally, Life & Style reports that Joe developed a very close relationship with a “young female staffer” who wasn’t “qualified” for the job back at his former real estate development office. Sources reveal that Joe called his upstairs office the “boom boom room,” and that when he tried to give away his couch, no one would take it.
When contacted by the magazine for a comment, Teresa maintains that her marriage is strong. “I have a great husband,” she tells Life & Style. “I wake up every morning and I’m like, ‘Thank you, God.’”
Magazines usually contact their story subjects to get their statement on the story they’re doing about before the issue hits the press, so there’s a good chance Joe and Teresa knew this story was coming days ago.
More details about Joe’s alleged sleazy ways in the latest issue of Life & Style magazine. The cover photo is below.
Following the first double elimination on Survivor: Nicaragua, the eliminated outcasts are now speaking out with PEOPLE about being voted off.
Kelly Bruno, a 26-year-old University of North Carolina medical student, amputee and victim of NaOnka’s insane behavior, along with Yve Rojas, a 41-year-old homemaker and mother-of-two, spoke with PEOPLE about being voted off, being outlasted by a complainer with bad knees and Kelly discusses being tackled by tribe mate NaOnka for an immunity idol clue.
How upsetting is it that Daniel complains and threatens to quit constantly yet skates through every week?
Yve: He was not having any fun. He cursed the game, where we were, everything, and I really wanted to play. It was so hard and disheartening to look at Danny’s miserable face as I was walking out and thinking, “You don’t even want to be here.”
Did it come down to you saying you had good relationships on the older tribe?
Yve: I knew Alina was a target at the old La Flor so I said I had good relationships to make her think I could help her if we merged, but I also immediately backtracked to put a more negative line on it, which they didn’t show, so I was shocked to hear that concern.
Kelly, on the other hand, you seemed totally surprised to see your name. Was there nothing that made you suspect how they felt about you?
Kelly: Kelly S. had come up to me and Jill earlier that evening and asked us to vote for her because she was having a hard time. She mentioned my name had come up. I didn’t have any reason to think there was anything to it, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I talked to others who denied it. I believed the plan was for the young tribe to stick together and flush out the idol. When Marty didn’t play it, I assumed I was fine because it was going to be a good time to get him out because he’s a real threat.
Do you think their sympathy vote argument was valid?
Kelly: They’re the ones who’d be voting, so wouldn’t they be able to stop a pity vote? It’s not like it’s open to the public. I guess they had sympathy for me. I thought I’d proved very clearly that I didn’t want pity, I wasn’t going to use that strategy and that wasn’t why I was there.
Favorite and least favorite moments?
Yve: Looking at those monkeys was my favorite because it was the first time that something alive and beautiful was apparent. Otherwise it was rain, mud, thorns, bland and dark.
Kelly: My least favorite moment was getting pushed to the ground for a clue. A line was definitely crossed that could not be undone. My favorite thing was watching the sunset everyday and appreciating what I was doing there and the experience.
A new episode of Survivor airs tonight at 8/7c on CBS.
The judge struck down Gretchen’s claims of defamation, libel and portrayal in a false light after determining that her lawyers hadn’t offered up enough evidence to prove that Jay was lying about the two of them being in a romantic relationship while she was engaged to Jeff Beitzel, who died of cancer in 2008.
Gretchen is however still allowed to pursue prior claims of assault, battery, stalking, breach of contract, conversion, intentional emotional distress, intentional interference with contractual relations and intentional interference with prospective economic relations against Jay.
Gretchen’s attorney Gregory G. Brown says he is considering an appeal. This ruling comes months after Gretchen was forced to fork over $24,000 to cover Jay’s legal fees after he took her to court for defamation.
Gretchen told UsWeekly magazine, “I was truly sorry to hear the news.” She added of Vicki, “She’s been having a really tough couple of days.”
Gretchen shares she sent Vicki a text message of support after the announcement. “I’ve talked to a few people in the inner circle and it’s a bad situation for her right now.” According to Gretchen, the split came as a surprise. “It kind of took us all by surprise, because from what I knew…things were going well, so I don’t really know what happened. It’s very sad.”
Apparently Ariel joins a long list of nannies and helpers who have left Kate. “She has gone through about 11 nannies and tons of helpers in the past few years,” adds the insider. “Shifts can last up to 24 hours, and you have to go on trips with the family. Sleepovers are often required, and there is no set schedule with days off. You work when Kate says she needs you to work.”
And while Kate, who is currently not on TV, could reportedly save some money by being a more hands on mom, a source says that would interfere with her dreams of making it in Hollywood. “Kate is unavailable to her children,” says the insider. “She never plays with them anymore and is constantly busy with her personal affairs. That’s why she always needs a nanny!”
TELL US – DO YOU BELIEVE KATE ISN’T BEING A HANDS ON MOM?
The couple who got the axe? None other than The Hills’star Audrina Patridge and her partner Tony Dovolani. The elimination is probably the most shocking yet this season as Audrina not only came in second place on Monday night, but she has been consistently good throughout the season.
Following the announcement that Audrina and Jennifer Grey were in the bottom two, judge Len Goodman voiced his disapproval: “That one of these is going home is absolutely ludicrous. It’s nonsense.”
“I’ve had so much fun this entire experience,” said Audrina. “Tony has been such an amazing teacher.” To the judges, she added, “Thank you for all the comments.”
But fret not for Audrina as she told UsWeekly Tuesday night, following her elimination, that her solo reality show has been picked up. “The show with Mark Burnett got picked up by VH1 so the journey continues!” she said. “It’s a reality show about me and my family. Everything that people have wondered about me, they’ll now get to see! And I hope Tony [Dovolani, her DWTS partner] will be on it! I’d love to make some trips to NY to see him because we are such good friends now!”
TELL US – ARE YOU SHOCKED BY AUDRINA’S ELIMINATION? WHO SHOULD HAVE WENT HOME INSTEAD?
The episode starts out with Nene Leakes paying a visit to her plastic surgeon with her BFF Diana, whom we’ve never seen on the show before. Nene is determined to get her happy back, and what better way to do that than with new boobs, a new nose and a new stomach. Oddly enough, Nene doesn’t discuss a nose job with the Surgeon though she does hint to the doctor that she might decide to do something else on the day of the surgery.

Are the boys ready to to settle down with a nice girl or will their maturity level be an issue? And more importantly, will tough Mama Bear Real Housewife Caroline approve of the boys’ choices? Find out tonight at 9/8c on Bravo.
Judging by the some of the news stories that have come out in recent months about the Manzo boys, it is a safe bet that neither of them is still with their matches from the show. Not much of a surprise considering Patti’s success rate on the show is closer to zero.
