Not even Stevie J and Joseline could scare this franchise out of existence…unfortunately. VH1's Love & Hip Hop is set to return in January, and hopefully the original show will get back to the original premise and leave Atlanta's scripted ridiculousness behind. I have my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath!
It will be the third season for the network hit, and undoubtedly drama-filled. Rumor has it that first season cast members Olivia Longott and Rich Dollaz will return along with second season additions Erica Mena and new momYandy Smith. It looks like the show has totally cleaned house, although given the success of Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones' spin-off, I'm not shocked they are absent from the roster.
They never go away, do they? Just because a lady has decided (or Bravo for her) that a housewives franchise isn't the way to go, the women who leave their shows always find a way to scurry back into the limelight…no matter how faded said light may seem.
Do you remember original Real Housewives of Atlanta'sLisa Wu Hartwell (now, just plain ol' Lisa Wu after a recent divorce)? She laughed in the face of She By She Broke with her affordable Closet Freak line? Yeah, she's back…and she's touting a lip gloss line and mediocre movie roles along the way. I always liked Lisa, but I understand why she bid farewell to her franchise. She was just far, far too normal.
Before I finish writing one story about Teen Mom 2'sJenelle Evans, 12 more crop up. It's a never-ending battle to see how many words per minute I can type without spraining a pinky. Or a middle finger.
Let's start off first with the events of yesterday morning. No, I don't mean the release of Ke$ha's new album, y'all! I'm talking about the day that will now be known as the wedding anniversary of Jenelle Evans' first marriage. Yesterday when Jenelle and Courtland secretly said their "I Do's", they first had to stop by different court room, where Courtland was charged with a felony!
A Radar source shared, "Courtland Rogers was charged with a felony in North Carolina on Tuesday for obtaining property by false pretenses. Straight after that court hearing was finished Jenelle and Courtland got married at the magistrate's office."
So wait… you mean to tell me LeAnn Rimes isn't naturally twiggy? Apparently not! The former singer is allegedly taking laxatives to lose weight and the pooper pills fell into the wrong little hands making her step-son extremely ill! Yikes – and very scary.
Brandi Glanville is speaking out about dangerous incidents happening when her sons are in the care of her ex-husband and his current wife. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is expressing concern about whether or not LeAnn is fit to be a caregiver for her two sons!
"I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie [Cibrian]'s not there — or at least the nanny, his parents, someone," Brandireveals to Us Weekly. "Mason, my eldest, ate some of Le's candies and got extremely ill. And Le's candies are laxatives. It was a big f–king deal for me, and I lost my mind." Rightfully so!!!

If you recall Jenni has a book in the works that discusses dealing with difficult bosses and workplace dramas, among other things. Jeff requested a copy of the manuscript from Jenni's publishing house and was denied. He since filed a suit to stop the publication.
As always Jeff was completely blunt. He said his attorney didn't want him discussing the matter, but oh well! "I'm still in a state of disbelief over this whole thing," Jeff said. "It was a last resort. I tried to work out every possible reconciliation."
He believes he was forced to file the suit after trying repeatedly to negotiate with Jenni over the content. "A book was written without my knowledge," Jeff said. He maintains that he encourages Jenni to pursue opportunities outside of the show but he needs to protect the confidentiality of his clients and his business.
