We want to take a minute to chat about your current reality TV obsessions. We get a lot of email requests to cover and/or recap various new (and older) shows and while we can't always manage to cover every one of them, we do try our best. We keep a running list of requests and take the time to evaluate which shows are doing well, and which ones just aren't garnering as much interest and then we tweak our news and recap calendar accordingly.
So, we'd love some feedback. What shows are you currently watching? What shows would you love to see recaps, news, and general info about?
While we may not be able to cover and recap every show (don't we wish!), we could even consider doing a preview post on the night of the show's airing, giving you all a place to dish about it, etc.
Leave us your feedback in the comments. Please be constructive and positive. Thanks!
As if you thought Lifetime would ever cancel its cash cow…Abby Lee Miller will be back and likely meaner than ever for yet another season of Dance Moms. Love her or hate her, I adore the girls and can't believe the amount of talent they have. I am over the moon to see the show return.
It's a true hit for Lifetime, spawning two spin-offs: Dance Moms: Miami and the recently premiered Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition which allows young girls to be ridiculed and berated by Abby while only garnering a few short minutes of screen time. It's the American Dream I tell you, the American Dream!
Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnikcalled off their engagement last week. I doubt anyone was truly shocked, as their relationship was doomed from the start. The majority of Bachelor fans never warmed up to Courtney's man-eating ways, and they ridiculed Ben for choosing her. Also, Ben's hair is just icky.
All alone now, Courtney opens up about the demise of their relationship. Courtney tellsWetpaint Entertainment that she's sad but okay. “I’ve been really surprised by all the support and the nice things people have said," Courtney says. "It means a lot to me.”
Courtney adds, “More than anything, I want people to know there wasn’t some huge fight or one specific thing that led to it. There’s really no story to tell other than the fact that it just wasn’t working out.”
Even though I was excited about meeting Jeff Lewis' grandmother on last night's Flipping Out, I have to say this was a very depressing episode. I hate seeing any of my favorite neurotic design team sad or sullen or in a tizzy! However, I will say the Spring Oak finished product looks ah-maz-ing!
Jeff is preparing to move to Spring Oak, so he teases Zoila Chavez about cleaning it before they move. He's ready to be back in a party house where everyone can relax and not be on top of one another. Currently he feels like he and Gage live in an office space with a bedroom. Nancy is taking orders for lunch, and Jeff takes it upon himself to order a salad and direct weight gain digs at the bride-to-be Jenni Pulos. He says it will definitely be Jenni's Big Fat Greek Wedding. Zoila comes to Jenni's defense saying that she herself is fat as well, and Jeff devises a plan to have Zoila stand next to Jenni during the ceremony to make her look thinner. Jenni is so good natured about the teasing…probably because she knows she looks great. Plus, she's hired a trainer.
Reality TV is known for its sensational fashion – and I don't mean sensational in a good way! I mean like, 'dressing in the dark, I bought this on clearance at Forever 21, and oops my boobs fell out' fashions.
Below are some of my least favorite red carpet fashion moments. You have been warned – these are searing, unflattering, and really, really gobsmackingly ugly.

TELL US – WHAT REALITY STARS MAKE YOUR WORST DRESSED LIST?
I braced myself for intense feelings of anger and/or sadness, turned on my TV, and listened as Dr. Drew Pinksy interviewed Amber. Behind bars. Much to my surprise, I actually found Amber to be likable. Possibly for the first time ever. I also came to respect her decision to enter prison.
Dr. Drew began the interview with, "You're not loaded?!" I giggled and cringed at the same time. "Nope, not loaded, but I feel a little bit nervous," Amber said.
To recap: Amber has been in prison for four months now. And in therapeutic community, which is like rehab in prison, for two months. Amber admitted she resisted the move into rehab. But they forced her, because she's in prison and doesn't get to make decisions. Dr. Drew asked, "Why prison?"
