Dorinda Medley has broken her silence about the argument with Heather Thomson that seemed to come out of nowhere on last week’s Real Housewives of New York, an argument Heather deemed “lame.” Dorinda, for her part, agrees about the relative ridiculousness of the tiff, but she does spend quite a while in this week’s blog defending how “hurt” she was by Heather’s “dismissive” attitude when walking in front of her to a local Turks and Caicos eatery.
Before getting into the Heather debacle, Dorinda reflects on her part in instigating the Sonja Morganvolcanic eruption that left no housewife untouched! Asserting that she cares about Sonja’s welfare because “there IS a difference between being a friend and being someone who cares for someone else, let’s be clear…,” Dorinda says she merely “wanted to offer some advice and help boost her confidence a bit” when she spoke to Sonja the morning after her “STFU!” moment with Bethenny Frankel. But Dorinda does admit, “I had no idea she was going to come charging down the mountainside at the rest of the girls the way she did. It’s like I lit a spark that sent the cannonball on a warpath. That wasn’t my intention.”
ShannonBeador has chosen to expose the rawest details of her marriage this season, but in light of Vicki Gunvalson getting the heartbreaking news of her mother’s passing on last night’sReal Housewives of Orange County, Shannon is trying to express gratitude for what – and who – she has in life. In her blog this week, Shannon reflects on the petty drama she’s trying to squash with Meghan Edmonds, her sympathy for Vicki’s loss, and how she’s trying to move past David’s infidelity.
“This is a very difficult episode to watch,” begins Shannon. “I can’t imagine how incredibly hard it is for Vicki to relive. It is just a reminder to us all that life is precious and that we should be grateful for every moment we have on this earth with our family.” And these precious moments should not be spent on insignificant arguments with thirsty newbie housewives. “We shouldn’t focus on petty things—which brings to me to my phone call with Meghan in this episode,” writes Shannon.
Bobby shared the above picture of Asifa, adding, “Through ups and downs it’s never been dull since we met. Looking forward to more trips and crazy moments. Love you. Happy Birthday.” Asifa posted a similar birthday dinner pic, but she opted to talk about the universe and life on other planets (she’s deep like that) instead of something like how much spending her birthday in paradise with the love of her life (snort) means to her. After taking the holiday weekend off to relax, Yolanda returned to her hyperbaric chamber in an effort to combat the effects of Chronic Lyme, which impairs her brain functionality. Yolanda remains committed to using alternative medicines.
“Back at work…….. #HyperbaricChamber #ChronicLymeDisease #DeterminedToFindACure,” Yolanda shared alongside the above photo.
So, Loony Lips back? Like as in like a Housewife back?! Since being fired from Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills because of her dark and twisted storyline that involved her husband Russell Armstrong‘s suicide and her own very public nervous breakdown, Taylor Armstrong has gotten remarried and started a whole new life… in Colorado. Now sources are saying she may return to the show that made her lips a household name.
Of course, Vicki’s tragic news was preceded by petty dramas with clueless Meghan Edmonds, and interspersed with scenes of whooping it up over Bunco at Shannon Beador‘s house. It seems inappropriate to write a recap that encompasses both the tragic passing of a parent and nonsense over whether or not a party invite was shady. But alas, the powers that be over at Bravo have given me this incredible opportunity. (Sarcasm).
At Meghan’s house, that’s not really Meghan’s house because Jimmy bought it and decorated it with one of his exes, they’re packing in preparation for a move. Apparently Meghan and Jimmy have moved 65 times in the last 6 minutes so I presume they’re high-class squatters and this is going to be a really interesting HGTV cross-over. Also, if you don’t really live anywhere – how have you amassed enough stuff for several junk drawers? Jimmy blames Meghan for the stuff. Because of course.
