Uh-Oh… is there a feud of the wives brewing on the horizon? Jessica Canseco and Andrea Kelly, the stars of Hollywood Exes, are speaking out about how the Real Housewives franchise is all about drama – and NOT about friendship! Well, duh!
“We need to support each other as women rather than beating each other up,” Jessicatold RadarOnline. And she says that’s the difference between their show and other reality shows with “wives” in the title.
“It is absolutely a different message to other reality shows where the women are not even friends and they end up hating each other,” Andrea added. “Why would anyone want to bring somebody down?” she asked. Oh, I dunno – Ratings, money, contracts, endorsement deals… I could go on.
Quick! Somebody call the press! Oh, wait…I am pretty sure cameras were there to capture something that we have never, ever seen in the history of Bravo–or, more specifically, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise. To what am I referring? You may want to sit down. You’re certainly going to need a minute to recoup. And you’re most definitely not going to believe me.
Here it is…this year, on Sunday, July 1st, Kyle “Table Splits” Richards hosted her annual White Party. She’s quite the Diddy, you know. Anyhoo, (are you sitting down?) word on the pearly white streets is that there was no drama, I repeat, NO DRAMA at said party this year. I know. I am as shocked as you are. Take a moment. I believe the first year we were introduced to Kyle’s White Party, she yelled at a woman for hitting on her husband. Not shockingly, Camille Grammer also showed up with a snarky etiquette book for her former nemesis. Of course, who can forget last year, when Taylor and Russell Armstrong after Russell threatened to sue Lisa Vanderpump? White party = drama. Always.
It’s an interview only Phaedra Parks could give. I mean, you saw her ballet themed baby shower and her pickle inspired photo shoot, right? In a sit-down with PaperMag.com, the Real Housewives of Atlanta reality TV star discusses everything from funerals to being dressed by servants in Ghana. I swear, the things that come out of this woman’s mouth are something else, but because it’s Phaedra, it’s totally hilarious. She dishes on wardrobe changes during a funeral (not hers, the corpses!) and the Georgia Supreme Court attending her wedding to Apollo Nida, because, you know, she’s such Atlanta society. Loves it! It’s a really long interview, so I’ve posted the highlights below, but I encourage you to read the entire thing here. It’s worth your time! Oh, Phaedra!

Our favorite reality TV stars can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
Well, Slade is again protesting against reports that he is a jobless deadbeat dad! Speaking to WetPaint, Slave says the allegations hurt his feelings and simply aren’t true.
“I was in real estate,” Slade says of his career pre-Housewives, “I was technically a consultant.” But NOW, oh but NOW, he runs Grayson Entertainment, a company which puts together endorsement deals for celebrities. Doesn’t he mean puts together endorsement deals for ONE pseudo-celebrity who goes by the stage name of Gretchen Christine?
We all know that Bethenny Frankel is anything but shy and demure, but she’s certainly ramping up her game on her new talk show. Calling herself the “R-rated Oprah,” Bethenny is dishing on topics that would make Christian Grey blush…well maybe that’s a bit of a stretch. But guess what? Bethenny isn’t blushing either. On her web site Bethenny.com, she explains why her racy topics aren’t worthy of embarrassment.
Bethenny says, “I’ll make the occasional…more than the occasional inappropriate joke, but when we are really talking about something, whether it’s sex toys, or bras, or butts, we are being serious because women really want to know about this.”
The talk show host hopes to make her show a forum for what everyday women want to discuss…and as we all know, women like the down and dirty details when it comes to the bedroom.
“The reason the topics don’t make me blush is because we aren’t making a joke out of it,” continues Bethenny. To that I say, bring it on! The raunchier the better, right?
Watch the video clip below of Bethenny further dishing on her new show.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF BETHENNY’S SHOW? TOO RACY OR JUST RIGHT?
Bravo switched up this season of the Real Housewives of New York, firing half of the cast. An insider close to the series thinks that perhaps those changes could continue if fans aren’t on board with the newest additions to the show. While an insider close to the NYDailyNews.com reveals that, for now, the franchise is seemingly safe, it reminds viewers that the cast is “constantly evolving.” The source continues, saying that the show itself is “a formula.” Perhaps Aviva Drescher should step up her game!
A Bravo source claims “it is much too early to even think about next season,” while touting that the network is “thrilled with the cast, and this Monday’s episode is high drama.”
