16 and Pregnant

Shannon and Heather feud over chair

This week's reality TV viewer numbers are in – Real Housewives of Orange County dropped down to 1.435 million viewers last week, but it bounced back. 1.746 million watched Heather and Shannon fight over a chair this week. Ramona's crazy antics in the Berkshires brought 1.427 million viewers back to Real Housewives of New York this week.

Last week, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta returned with an impressive 3.761 million viewers. For reasons unknown, VH1 aired a second episode last week, which garnered only 2.642 million. This week's regularly scheduled episode attracted 3.216 million viewers.

Only 1.791 million bothered to watch the Real Housewives of Atlanta secrets revealed special – and without RHOA's lead-in, Married to Medicine lost over a million viewers. 1.226 million tuned in to see more Mariah vs. Quad drama at the WEN conference. 16 and Pregnant lost viewers too. 1.069 million watched Summer's story this week.

Summer Rewis Gives Birth

I don't know where MTV is finding the girls on this season's 16 And Pregnant, because each one has a more messed up situation than the next! I can only hope this is proof that the show is definitely lowering the teen pregnancy rate and fewer girls are in fact getting pregnant.

Last night 17-year-old Summer Rewis and her boyfriend DJ gave birth to son Peyton as they dealt with Summer's moms drug addiction and Peyton's health problems. Summer and DJ are from Collins, GA and need subtitles. Often. Summer is super cute and despite her rough childhood seems level-headed and sweet. She and DJ have a pretty stable relationship and I like them.

While Summer's mom is a hot mess, DJ's parents are very supportive and let the couple live with them while Summer completes high school and DJ goes to school to become a welder. Summer also has 3 younger half-sisters whom she's close with. One happens to be called Pookie, which I'm just gonna hope is a nickname. Another says she has feet that smell like Fritos.

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta

This week's reality TV viewer numbers are in – and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta came back with a bang (no puns intended) and every show but one, Real Housewives of Orange County, logged an increase in viewership this week.

On Sunday, part three of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion garnered 4.289 million viewers, and 2.311 million saw the cast of Married to Medicine embarrass themselves at the WEN conference

On Monday, a whopping 3.761 million viewers watched the season 3 premiere of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Also, 1.386 million sat through Arianna's nagging on 16 and Pregnant, and RHOC took a turn for the worse with only 1.435 million tuning in to meet Lizzie. Southern Charm ended its first season with a 952,600 average after 1.038 million watched the secrets revealed special.

On Tuesday, Real Housewives of New York beat out RHOC for the first time this season, with 1.479 million watching Ramona act crazy in the Berkshires

Last night on 16 and Pregnant, we met Arianna and Maurice, who made a baby after dating for only six weeks. MTV tells us that Arianna is an artsy – cause half her hair is dyed green? – high school senior who can't forgive her boyfriend for impregnating her. Um, she was there too, right? Arianna reminds me of Princess Briana from Teen Mom 3 – she constantly preaches about what others should be doing while she doesn't do much else besides preach.

Arianna's father took off shortly after she was born – I think she takes her own daddy anger out on Maurice – and her mom was a teen mom. Arianna doesn't like her mom's new husband, so she lives with her grandmother in tiny one-bedroom apartment. Despite everything, Arianna is on track to graduate high school early. She wanted to get her PhD in Psychology prior to becoming pregnant, but due to the time that takes, she now wants to be an RN. Good for her… admirable profession and light years beyond many of her MTV co-stars.

Southern Charm reunion

This week's reality TV viewer numbers are in – and an impressive 2.206 million watched the Basketball Wives L.A. reunion, bringing its season average to 2.055 million. Sadly, only 861,000 fans bothered with the Southern Charm reunion, but we hope the season finale's 1.21 million and the season average of 943,000 is enough to get it renewed.

Part two of the controversial Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion attracted 4.148 million viewers – that's a tiny bump up from part one. Roughly half of RHOA's audience stuck around to watch Cecil and Dr. Simone's marital woes on Married to Medicine.

The Ramona and Sonja drama on Real Housewives of New York interested 1.464 million viewers, which is a new season six high. Meanwhile, 1.711 million suffered through "fakes giving" on Real Housewives of Orange County, and 1.136 million watched Millina's struggle on 16 and Pregnant.

16 and Pregnant Millina With Son Kayden

On last night's 16 And Pregnant, seventeen-year-old Millina Kacmar and boyfriend Trevor dealt with trying to parent son Kayden and parent their own mothers who were at least as immature and needy as the infant, right?

Millina's mom is in jail for drugs and her father is flaky and broke (and in the past he was abusive), so she and her younger brother Moses live with their grandmother Nan. Millina is dating Trevor – and his pornstache – but has trouble trusting him because of her rocky childhood. As a result of her mom's issues Millina dropped out of school and fell into the rave scene including all the drugs, alcohol, hideous neon fashions, piercings, and all-nighters it had to offer. That's also where she met Trevor.

Millina realizes she has to give up the party scene for her son because she worries about turning into her mom and losing her son to Child Protective Services. She confides in her friend Haley that she freaks out about this daily.

RHOA reunion

The reality TV viewer numbers are in – and it's good news all around. The Real Housewives of Atlanta kicked off their reunion with 4.13 million viewers in attendance. Also on Sunday, 2.38 million fans tuned in for the Quad vs. Mariah gossip on Married to Medicine

On Monday, season finales of Southern Charm and Basketball Wives L.A. garnered 1.21 million and 2.198 million, respectively. That's a season high for Southern Charm. 1.84 million watched the spooky party on Real Housewives of Orange County, and 1.21 million met Autumn on 16 and Pregnant

On Tuesday, 1.383 million viewers sat through the Real Housewives of New York bickering their way through July 4th. Part two of the Teen Mom 2 reunion attracted 1.351 million. That's a season low for Teen Mom 2. But it's more likely a result of MTV messing with the schedule rather than viewers losing interest.

16 And Pregnant Autumn & Dustin

On last night's 16 And Pregnant camo-lovin' country girl Autumn is a 16 year-old sophomore from Kentucky whose boyfriend (the highly-quotable) Dustin just will not give up the weed. Autumn is having a son that they plan to name Drake, but she's already the mother to Dustin who is immature, irresponsible, and loves to get hi-hi-hi-hiiiigh! Dustin has hard time accepting that fatherhood will mean giving up his favorite past-time: partying!

Through his red-rimmed eyes and the haze of his pot-glaze, Dustin just does not grasp the concept of parenthood. Of course he is jobless and hanging out with his friends. In fact he's so high I think he forgot he had a girlfriend, let alone one he impregnated. And Dustin sports a hat with beer bottle caps wrapped all around the brim. Classy!

To further complicate Autumn's life her older sister Misty is also a teen mom who had a baby months before. What is happening in this house?! Autumn tells her mom she didn't want to take birth control because she was afraid to gain weight. "I didn't wanna get fat," Autumn says looking down at her bump and revealing she has since gained 40lbs.
