What made Mike finally confess after lying all season? “I wasn’t lying. I was having marital problems with me and my wife and I was trying to keep it under wraps, but being on reality TV you don’t really have that freedom. Me and my wife are having problems and I don’t want the world to know so I’m labeled a liar. I decided it’s time for me to come clean because there’s so much speculation.”
Not everyone is cut out to be a Real Housewife and there’s nothing wrong with that. In all honesty, it might even be a compliment. Sometimes Bravo casts women who are just way too normal to be on reality TV. There’s nothing wrong with them as humans, but they are just not fit to expose their lives on reality television.
I have no idea why some of these people were cast, but it happened and we all had to sit through it. Most of the Real Housewives ladies are amazing, then there are some that were just way too boring.
It wouldn’t be a Real Housewives reunion if one of the cast members did not storm off of the stage. The shocking move has become weirdly standard at this point. So I’m really not too surprised that Cary Deuber took part in this Real Housewives rite of passage at the first Real Housewives of Dallas reunion.
Plus, it really does make sense since LeeAnne Locken went out of her way to spread rumors about Cary’s marriage to Mark Deuber. Any normal person would be upset about that and those normal emotions get magnified on the Real Housewives reunion stage.
Andy starts off asking if Bethenny noticed thatLuann de Lesseps has her name misspelled in her phone? “Well, I don’t have to, I have Twitter for that. I didn’t notice but so many people did. It’s so funny the things people pick up on.” Was she surprised by that after all these years of being friends? “No. Maybe she had it like that originally, I don’t know. I don’t really think about things like that.”
I am not the only one who paused the TV and did some Google searches for the name “Tiffany Hendra.” I know that Tiffany admitted to taking part in some mature films but insisted that they were not actually pornographic. Obviously, Tiffany had to address the topic again after the reunion episode aired.
Andy wants to know all about Vicki’s new beau Steve in a speed round of questions. Did Steve watch the show before dating her? “No.” Does he know all about Brooks? “Yes, I told him everything.” Has he met Brooks? “God no.” Have the other ladies met him? “Yes.” She then shares a story of Tamra “frisking” him for a “pistol” and winds up grabbing him in the crotch. Vicki reveals that Briana does like Steve and that she has not taken him to Andeles yet. Which Househusband does he get along with the best? “Michael.” How does he feel about the show? Vicki says he just knows it’s her career and her work and he supports whatever she does. They’ve been dating for two months.
Last night Real Housewives Of Dallas had their first (and I dunno – something in me is saying ‘only’ reunion) – and it was pretty bizarre.
The major story was Cary Deuber, who all season seemed rational, together, and way too smart for all the drama, but wound up having a straight nervous breakdown on stage over the rumors LeeAnne Locken spread about her marriage beginning with an affair. LeeAnne may not do “hurt,” but Cary does and she openly sobbed a ton.
Also randomly, throughout the entire reunion LeeAnne would morph into ‘My Carny Story’ mode and just start fake tearing up about her haunted past and all the other BS she routinely uses to try and get away with her crap. Andy was rolling his eyes and was visibly exhausted by her (as was everyone else – here, there, and everywhere!). I guess she needed Rich, The Carny Whisperer, to tone her down and stop her “story” about the hurt little girl who farts glitter from going into auto-repeat. The record is skipping, RICH!
