I don’t know why Kelly Bensimon would ever return to Real Housewives of New York, but I would be pumped if she did. Sure, it wasn’t the best look for her, but she really made good TV. I will never in my life forget her weird rant about Al Sharpton and jelly beans while she was arguing with Bethenny Frankel on Scary Island.
Bethenny made a return to RHONYand even Jill Zarin will appear next season, so why not bring back Kelly? Well, apparently this is a possibility.
It seems like there is a Kandi Burruss-centered story line in every episode of this Real Housewives of Atlanta season. She has been on the show since season two, but this is the first one where Kandi is really taking a lot of heat. It started with the demise of her friendship with Phaedra Parks and it has continued with Porsha Williams accusing her of attempted drugging and having a sex dungeon. Now Phaedra is involved in a lawsuit against Kandi and she did not see it coming… until she watched the latest episodes.
Our first look at the Vanderpump Rules reunion is here. Bravo promises that everything from “scandalous hookups” and “cheating accusations” to “wild wedding festivities” will be argued about ad nauseam covered at the Season 5 reunion, which Andy Cohen said was “intense.”
Look below for pictures and a breakdown of the three-part reunion. Yes, three parts, because apparently season five was a hit with viewers. <blank stare> I personally thought that this was the worst season yet, but Bravo claims that this season of Vanderpump Rules is “on track to deliver its highest rated season ever” with a reported average of 2.4 million viewers.
Erika stopped by Watch What Happens Live to address the intense episode with Andy Cohen and fellow guest, Real Housewives fanatic Megan McCain. I have to admit that I am an Erika Jayne fan, so it was tough for me to watch. It was the first time in Erika’s two years on the show when I found it difficult to back her up. I was nervous about the (deserved) backlash that she was bound to get for flipping out at Eileen for no reason.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I was actually pretty moved by Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz wedding. I know we didn’t even get to the actual vows part yet, but it was so sweet when Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval surprised Schwartz by flying out his triplet brothers to attend the wedding.
It was really nice, but a lot of the viewers were so confused by the couple spending so much money on towel invitations and flower arrangements instead of paying for his family to attend the event. Still, this is a way nicer criticism than the hate the couple has faced all season in response to their drunken arguments.
Hell basically froze over this season on Real Housewives of Atlantawhen Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks put an end to their years of feuding and throwing shade. They actually got along for more than one episode and Kenya even helped Phaedra with her summer camp for kids affected by the Flint water crisis. After Phaedra’s reaction and mean text to Kenya throwing her a divorce party, it seems like their peace was short-lived.
Harry Hamlin is Lisa Rinna‘s constant protector – her beacon against the storm of criticism and the stalwart counselor she seeks to find balance (or wait – maybe that’s Xanax smoothies). And Harry always seems to be defending his wife over her behavior on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
I have been counting down until Real Housewives of New York returns ever since the initial trailer was released. I am interested to see how they all interact after some pretty dark story lines and heated reunion episodes last season.
In a recent interview, Dorinda Medley opened up about what to expect from the new season and new housewife, Tinsley Mortimer. She also talked about how RHONY has changed her life and revealed that she considered joining the cast at the very beginning.
