Tonight Watch What Happens Live returned after a two week break. Andy’s guests were Brandi Glanville and Shervin Roohparvar. Brandi blasts back at Mike Shouhed over a crazy Tweet and dishes on Yolanda Hadid having her tonsils removed, while Shervin talks about Golnesa’s illness and more.
After the crazy episode of Shahs of Sunset, Andy told Shervin that GG was Tweeting, saying that he needed a lesson in vocabulary – words like loyalty. (she has since deleted the Tweet). Shervin replied, “Golnesa has a certain way with words. She has her own definitions, we have ours. Sometimes they don’t meet eye to eye. She comes from a good place. Sometimes loyalty means telling you something you don’t want to hear.”
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Andy Cohen has been busy in the Bravo Clubhouse. So busy, in fact, that he’s enlisting help from his celebrity friends as temporary late night hosts! Look Who’s Hosting Live, a new Bravo show in which celebrities becomes hosts of their very own late night talk show – for one night only – is one of seven new shows in the works for Bravo.
Bravo describes the celebrity spin on Watch What Happens Live as a chance for wannabe hosts to do it all: “From writing monologues, to picking their sidekicks and guests, these hosts-for-a-night will get the chance to live out their fantasy and design their dream show.” But does celebrity mean Bravolebrity? Are we gonna get to see Ramona Singer interviewing some hapless starlet while sucking down Pinot from her new beer goggles? Because if so, then…yes please!
It’s Friday and that means another round of Fresh Photos Friday! This week The Real Housewives of Dallasdescended on NYC to film their reunion. It’s been almost a year since they’ve wrapped, so I’m sure it was a little weird to revisit the drama from so long ago. In our gallery we have Tiffany Hendra and her husband Aaron, along with co-star LeeAnne Locken.
Andy Cohen popped in this week on Amy Phillips’Reality Checked radio show. He dished for a few minutes on some things we can expect coming up for Real Housewives of New York, Dallas and New Jersey. Andy shared what made him cry this week, what we can expect from an insane RHONY secret, why Erika Jayne is hooked on a particular Housewives show and more!
Andy shared with Amy that next week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York is something we cannot miss. “The entire thing takes place over two and a half hours at Dorinda’s house in the Berkshires. It’s like a one act play, it’s like a drawing room comedy, with some blood. Like a couple murders, basically. You may need hours to dissect next week’s episode. Bethenny dismembers Luann, basically, within the first six minutes of the show in a way that I’ve never seen.” But he says with all the drama and insanity, it’s still funny as only RHONY can be in the midst of drama.
“I don’t think I took it easy on her at all,” Andy said of Yolanda. (‘Cause he is DEEEEELLLLUSSSIONAL – said in my Kristen Taekman operatic voice!) “As a matter of fact, when part one of the reunion aired, I got a million mean tweets from people saying, ‘Why are you being so mean to Yolanda and pushing her about her marriage?'” Andy claimed. YEAH RIGHT. It was probably Daisy’s job as health advocate to those tweets.
Andy Cohen‘s book “Most Talkative” is hitting the stage – sort of. Ryan Raftery has produced and is starring in a new production called “Ryan Raftery’s Watch What Happens – Live On Stage!” Ryan takes on the world of reality television – largely a figment of his imagination – with Andy moving to New York to pursue his two passions: television and Anderson Cooper.
If you’re wondering how Andy feels about this, Ryan has been a guest bartender on Watch What Happens Live and shared that Andy is his best subject. In fact, several Housewives (Luann de Lesseps and more) are already confirmed to attend opening night at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater downtown NYC on July 12th. You might be out of luck for opening night since only 30 tickets were left after the ticket sales opened yesterday, but there will be additional dates this summer – August 1st & 8th, and September 12th.
On tonight’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Reza Farahan proved once again that he’s the worst friend in the world, unless you’re Mike Shouhed. He had negative things to say about everyone from Jessica Parido to MJ Javid to Golnesa. Adam is the bartender tonight and is wearing the most god-awful 70s-inspired crocheted jumpsuit I’ve ever laid eyes on. (added a partial photo below) Oh, and Luis D. Ortiz from Million Dollar Listing New York is here, too. Poor guy picked the wrong night to make an appearance.
They start out discussing that time when GG made out with Luis. He says it was just one kiss. Reza, being the class act he always is, says a string of negative things about GG and tells Luis he hopes he had a lot of alcohol to rinse it away… And then a few minutes later he makes another comment and refers to GG as “the snake.”
