NeNe revealed to host Kit Hoover, that she is “almost single.” Despite being seen recently as a couple, NeNe maintains that her divorce from Gregg Leakes should be finalized “really soon, in the next couple weeks,” and she is excited to be “out there dating” again!
NeNe also discloses that she is definitely open to getting remarried! “I absolutely love being married, and I think love is a beautiful thing…” she tells Kit, gushing, “I love love. The sooner it comes the better!” And who is she hoping to find love with? Perhaps Anderson Cooper! Well, sure that might happen. Or maybe Simon Cowell! NeNe loves the menz with the monies! I’m surprised Andy Cohen didn’t make the list.
NeNe also talks Kim’s new spin-off and she must have practiced really, really hard to look neutral when the subject came up, because surprisingly she didn’t start yelling about Kim being trash and instead sort of, kind of, congratulated her. “I think that every woman needs to be independent. You need to have a job. If that’s what’s happening in her life, great.”
And reacting to the Real Housewives of New York City casting shake-up, Nene was honest in admitting it makes her a little nervous. “For them to take out some of the main characters that we’ve always been watching, it’s a little scary for me.” Perhaps she’s thinking she might be next!
Likely not, as NeNe reveals that season four of RHOA is “drama, drama, drama!” But she’s not giving away which housewife is getting the most camera time this season – besides herself, of course! My bets are on new housewife, Marlo Hampton for bringing the crazy!
Thoughts on NeNe’s interview? Are you buying the “divorce” from Gregg? Do you believe she is really happy for Kim? Will you be watching RHOA? I personally, CANNOT WAIT!
It’s the firing that will never end as former housewives, current housewives, and wannabe housewives again continue to talk and talk some more about Bravo’s decision to re-cast the Real Housewives of New York!
Unable to accept that Bravo no longer wants to film their silly basement office, E! is reporting that former housewives Alex McCordandSimon Van Kempen are pleading with the network to re-hire them!
“Basically, they’ve been begging to stay on,” a source asserts. “Simon questions how he can ‘harness the swell of support’ behind them.” That “swell of support” is, I imagine, the messages and Tweets from fans questioning Bravo’s decision to cut them from the cast.
“They’re not accepting that it’s done,” the source continues. “They are meeting with Bravo this afternoon and Bravo doesn’t want them on the show, but Andy would like them to pop up occasionally, whether on Housewives or other programs on the network is what they’re saying.” Well, that’s sort of promising…
Alex actually confirmed the meeting with Bravo took place yesterday (Thursday) but claims they are not begging to get back on the show. She Tweeted: “Oy oy oy! Just to clarify, yes we have had meetings at Bravo. No we didn’t ask to be reinstated. Is that clear enough? #GossipvsFact.”
And FINALLY Kelly Kra-kra Bensimon has acknowledged that she was fired! Whew – I was getting worried she had completely ignored the memo! On her most recent blog (posted today, actually), Kelly addressed leaving the show with the following statement: “To all the Real Housewives of New York Fans and Viewers, I’m so grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve received from all of you. I hope you enjoyed my run on the show. Stay tuned for I’m just getting started.” Well, it’s not much but at least we have confirmation that she understands she shouldn’t show up to film!
As for Jill Zarin, she is shockingly taking the high road (so far) after receiving the news. Do you think Bravo issued a gag order? Jill has been focusing on her family life and her careers outside of Housewives, but a source reveals: “She still feels a little betrayed. Jill knew Carole [Radziwill] was coming on the show, but she never knew she was being thrown off. She’s grateful for what Bravo did for her, but feels they just tossed her aside.”
And since no major shake-up of RHONY would be complete without Bethenny Frankel’s two-cents, she told E! she’s “not surprised” by Bravo’s decision to fire her former bffl, among others -like that blonde woman she used as the messenger to bury her friendship with said bffl!
“I’m not surprised only because it’s been the same cast for so many years and Bravo…likes to make changes,” the Bethenny Ever After star remarked of the casting shake-up. “They probably just felt like it was time for a change. People do that in relationships, they do that in work strategy. I don’t think it’s personal. I think it’s really just business.”
“The girls are probably a little nervous and scared, because it’s change,” she said, commenting on how her former co-workers might be taking the news that they’ll have to start collecting unemployment. “It can be lucrative when you get a lot of attention, but I also think it’s very tiring. They’ll get to relax a little more and not be scrutinized all the time.”
Bethenny also talks her own decision to leave the show, and unlike previous interviews when she described the show as rewarding bad behavior, this time she claims to have seen the writing on the wall. “I did leave on top,” she admits.
“It was all very planned out. I knew this was the type of place you don’t want to overstay your welcome. I always say, ‘You don’t want to be the one in the nightclub at two in the morning where everyone looks pretty scary.’”

Do you think Silex has a chance of convincing Bravo to re-add them to the show? Thoughts on Bethenny’s comments regarding her decision to leave?
“No matter what anyone tells you of course we all wanted to be asked back,”one of the relieved ladies, who wishes to remain anonymous, remarked. “It’s never nice to get fired no matter what job you do. But to be strung along by your boss week after week, pretending the decision had not yet been finalized is just wrong,” she said in response to reports that Bravo execs were placing phone calls to Jill and Alex up until the final moments. Andy Cohen also called the ladies over the weekend, trying to distance himself from the final decision.
And days following the news, Andy finally responded to the controversy via his Bravo blog, stating: “By now you’ve heard the news about cast changes in the RHONY. This was a very tough decision, made with much care and discussion,” he wrote. Then giving props to the people that pay the bills – US – he explained: “In the end we listened to the fans, who expressed a desire for new stories and a major change in a direction.”
While that was as far as Cohen would go in describing the decision to fire certain ladies, it’s rumored that a certain red-headed diva’s demands for a pay raise and filming stipulations were the reason she got the axe! Oh, and that her hubby was completely ovah being apart of the show! And speaking of Jill, she seems to be taking the news in stride – at least publicly!
Writing in her newsletter, which was sent out to fans yesterday (yes, she has some and yes, I get it – for work purposes, of course) she remained aloof, commenting: “There is a lot I want to say and share but I just can’t today.” And after advertising an upcoming appearance, she continues: “Ihope those of you in NYC will come and at that time I will be prepared to share what happened and what my future holds. I can’t thank you enough for all of the emails, tweets, facebook comments, letters and even gifts that you have sent to me. I read everything and although I may not be able to respond to everyone, I want you to know I have been brought to tears by all of the love you have sent to me. I don’t want you to worry though…when one door closes….many doors open.”
And according to reports, Jill is somewhat relieved the show has come to an end: “Jill is done with them and ready to move on,” according to a “source.” “If she’s not good enough to return to ‘Housewives’ she has no interest in making returning guest spots or making a surprise secret appearance in the middle of the Housewife season.” Well only time will tell if the seemingly spot-light obsessed, Zarin, makes good on that promise! Jill also revealed that she will no longer be participating in Bravo’s Housewives Tour.
While Jill seems to have many, um… exciting up-coming ventures and is ready to move forward; poor little Alex is absolutely devastated to lose her day job! Friends of the McCords commented that Silex is ”destroyed by the decision and will do whatever she can to make it right,” and “would be happy to continuing working with Bravo in a new capacity.” A source defending the duo lamented: “Alex and Simon have given their lives to making this show a hit and this is how they are thanked. Not fair.” Well perhaps the reason they were fired is that they have no life outside of the show and their storyline became boring, stale, and pathetic!
After tweeting a Twitter campaign to keep them on the show, citing fan support, Alex and Simon formally released their own statement in an US Weekly exclusive confirming that they are disappointed by the news: “After four seasons on Real Housewives of New York City, Simon and I are moving on. It’s a completely friendly departure and while it was their decision and not ours, we are in close communication with both Bravo and the production company about our next move, in addition to fielding outside offers.”
The fame-grasping duo continues: “It was bittersweet to finally get the call last Saturday but we knew it was on the cards. It’s been a bumpy ride; sometimes great and sometimes not, but it’s been an experience that I don’t regret having done.” If you are an Alex fan, don’t fret they will still be working with Aluxe Home hawking bedding!
As for Kelly, the resident crazy, she has let to comment at all or release any statements, she has been tweeting about health and hotness though, so at least we know she’s still kra-kra!
Finally, The new queen bee of RHONY (and the woman many fans are anticipating as being Bravo’s next target for the psychotic b!*ch edit), Ramona Singer, who likely knew who was getting the axe at the time the interview was conducted, recently spoke with fellow anti-Zarinette Lynn Hudson, and the ladies (and I use that term veeerrryyy loosely) teamed up to talk about, well, what else but the recently relieved of her duties, Jill Zarin!
In the interview, Pinot Singer reveals that she is “true friends” with Alex and Sonja Morgan “off-camera”, so she must have fought really, really hard to convince Andy to keep Alex in the line-up, right? And while her relationships with Alex and Sonja may be legit, her relationship with Jill is pretty much quits.
“I tried very hard with Jill, but Jill is her own worst enemy, something I have told her many times,” she comments of her former co-star and frienemmy. “This past season the raw emotion between us was very real and the damage that was done was irreversible. Jill is an unhappy person, and clearly having a loving husband, fame and fortune doesn’t necessarily make you happy.”
Speaking about the almost completely forgotten Cindy, Ramona describes her as bad TV: “I enjoyed her one-on-one having dinner and things but she just wasn’t right for the show, some people just don’t do well in front of the cameras.”
Well, we will be looking forward to the upcoming season of fresh, new, Zarin-less drama; and at least we still have LuAnn’s one-liners to infuriate us!

Thoughts on the statements released by the ladies and by Senor Cohen? Do you believe Jill is actually glad to be done with the show? Do you believe this is the last time we will see her on Bravo? Are you excited about Season 5 of RHONY?

Monday, Sept. 26: Tia and Tamera Mowry from Style Network’s reality show Tia & Tamera Sunday, Oct. 2:Bridesmaids‘ star Wendi McLendon-Covey and Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Caroline Manzo Monday, Oct. 3: CNN anchor and talk show host Anderson Cooper Sunday, Oct. 9:Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Melissa Gorga and comedian/Bravo blogger Jay Mohr Monday, Oct. 10:Work of Art executive producer and actress Sarah Jessica Parker
It all started with this humble Tweet from an Auto-Tune inflicted New Jersey Housewife who apparently thinks she can sing and thinks she as clout with the Bravo-machine: “@GreggyBennett @jaymohr37 why are u tweeting him? He’s such an asshole… Pulls food out of peoples mouths.”
See, Greg Bennett, aka Albie and Christopher Manzo’s roommate and mister, is now apparently the “pseudo-manager” of Melissa Gorga and he also has a twitterelationship with comedian and Real Housewives of New Jersey Blogger extraordinaire, (whose recaps make me bitter and jealous!) Jay Mohr. Part of this Twitter-lationship includes pitching some really scary TV ideas of his own…
Anyways, back to the feud! Apparently, Melissa is upset that Jay is unnecessarily harsh about her and her family on these said blogs and she felt the need to call Jay out!
Melissa’s anger began after reading Jay’s most recent blog where he, predictably, insulted Melissa’s singing:
“Did anyone else notice that last episode, after Teresa autographed a book for her brother, Joey made her read it to him? This is the second or third time Joey Gorga has made someone read to him. He is either illiterate or a pimp.”
“Melissa’s voice on speaker phone is somehow worse than her voice while singing. On speaker phone Melissa sounds like a cross between a Vietnamese lady and one of Charlie Brown’s teachers. Teresa tells Melissa that they both need to talk to their Joes and Melissa snaps like Mike Tyson at a spelling bee. Melissa talks so loudly and long and shrilly without a break it sounds like she is calling a horse race.”
“Melissa plays her song for the boys and they say they like it. Then they inexplicably ask Melissa to sing at their company’s launch party. Are they launching ear plugs?”
Well, Melissa felt he took his insults a step too far and she confronted Jay on Twitter, in what began a Twittercation:
Melissa started with the above Tweet to Greg and then when Greg responded: “@melissagorga girl did your twitter get hacked? #confused” Melissa explained: “No it’s Meee, I don’t care for jay, do u read his blogs.,,,he’s not funny anymore” After a fan criticized Jay’s blogs as no longer being “objective.” Melissa responded to the fan and included Jay and Bravo in the response, whining: “@jaymohr37 @BravoAndy @bravotv guess they don’t have my back with this….”
Jay retaliated by Tweeting: “Listen up! @melissagorga I CRUSHED Teresa four weeks in a row. I CRUSHED Joe G. Too! WHY ARE YOU ON REALITY TELEVISION THEN?!!” Touche, Mama Gorga, Touche. Go back to being off display if you don’t want people “critiquing” your hypocritical behavior!”
Jay launched another Tweet: “@melissagorga Did you think I was mean when I said your daughter was the most beautiful child I had ever seen? Don’t remember a thank you.” “For the record @melissagorga tonight told me to blog negative things about @Teresa_Giudice books and businesses. #fact #sad”
In Melissa’s defense (she needs one bad!) it appears Melissa did not ask Jay to trash Tre but rather asked him why he trashes her singing but never Teresa’s books and businesses. Melissa then responded with: “Never her books or business, crush? Hardly… Mean doesn’t =funny” Yeah, Melissa – family comes first!
Real Fan Club also called Melissa out on her nonsense, Tweeting: If @melissagorga can’t handle @jaymohr37, a comedian, then she has no business trying 2 break into the industry! #Lifeofanentertainer. Melissa responded with this ridiculous Tweet: “@REALFANSCLUB @jaymohr37 I can handle him just don’t like him, Don’t get it twisted!” With Jay snarkily responding: “DONT GET IT TWISTED is my new single.”
Melissa even involved co-star, Caroline Mnazo, Twhining: “Carolinnneeee!!!!He’s soo mean….. get the bat!” Caroline, pleading the fifth, commented back: “hey you two, don’t make me get the wooden spoon out – play nice! he’s not mean, he’s doing his job – you know me – I don’t support mean – now kiss and make ups kids….”
After realizing everyone alive thought she was ridiculous and melodramatic, Melissa abruptly ended things by tweeting: @jaymohr37 Wow! I thought we r having fun, that took it to a whole new level, goodnight.” and “By the way read my tweets, never said to, I said, Jay doesn’t…. Big difference”
Even Greg wasn’t on her side, Tweeting: @melissagorga thick skin honey If you can’t laugh at yourself, everyone else will do it for you. Looove you.” Well said, Greggy! He also added that the feud wasn’t a publicity stunt!
Teresasurprisingly had no comment on any of this! Is she still alive?! Possibly has she broken both her hands rendering it impossible for her to type?
Melissa must have realized she was cutting off her nose to spite her face because she immediately started back pedaling, Tweeting Andy Cohen and other Housewives co-stars. Since this whole Jay-debacle I noticed there hasn’t been tweeting going on between Greg and Melissa. Dare I say, is Greg ditching the Madonna wannabe for a real celebrity friend?
Things are about to get a whole lot more interesting as the livid Melissa is slated to appear on Watch What Happens Live, Oct 9th with her new nemesis. And yes, deep down Melissa knows he’s funny…
Thoughts on the Twitter feud? Whose side are you on? Was Melissa Jay out of line with his snarking on Melissa or does she need to toughen up?
Oh, so sad it’s officially the last day ofFlipping Out, but do not despair because Jeff and the gang will be back sooner than later with a new Bravo reality show called “Interior Therapy” and I need to get my audition tape made ASAP. Imagine – spending a week with Jeff, Jenni, and Zoila – that’s better than free reign of Lisa Vanderpump’s closet!
Jeff and Andy break down what’s been going on in the land of Lewis since the show stopped filming and apparently Jeff has only seen Sarah twice and Trace once since they were let go of JLD. Jeff confirms he is in his new redecorated home, his income has doubled since Gage convinced him to cut the dead weight, he is definitely planning kids sooner than later, and he is now representing Zoila as her manager – he’ll be getting 90% and she still only gets free room and board. Jeff was much softer during this interview and had so many humble (for him!) moments where he admitted how much the people in his life meant to him – like when he said he couldn’t live without Gage, Zoila, and Jenni. It was nice.

In the wake of Russell Armstrong’s suicide, several of the castmembers of Real Housewives of New York City spoke to PEOPLE offering their sympathy and support to Taylor Armstrong and defending Bravo against any allegations that reality TV may have been involved in Russell’s decision to take his own life. Since the casting, apparently, hasn’t been “officially” finalized yet – I guess these ladies are doing some sucking up!
Taking a break from Pinot-ing, Ramona Singer, offered her perspective: “I think it is very tragic. But I don’t think that the reality show is to blame for his unfortunate death. I think he had problems. And it’s sad when someone has so many problems, they feel the only way they can eliminate their pain is by taking their life.”
Krazy Kelly Bensimon, also offered her support to the network paying her bills, declaring: “I would never blame it on the show.” Just like she didn’t “blame” the show for forcing her to go on Scary Island and be subjected to “systematic bullying”? Anyways, in a shocking turn, Ms. Bensimon went on to give an insightful statement about what Russell’s reasons: “You don’t know what happens behind closed doors. And no one can judge. It’s no one’s job to do that. A lot of people speculate.”
Also extending statements of support and empathy, Sonja Morgan relayed: “My heart goes out to her [Taylor] and I’m here for her. But I never intrude,” Sonja explained. “She knows I’m here, but sometimes being helpful is just staying out of someone’s business.”
Alex McCord, on the other hand, took the classy (am I allowed to use the dread “C” word to describe her?) approach – declining to comment at all, stating: “I don’t even feel comfortable talking about that publicly.”
And noticeably absent from the roster of RHoNYC castmembers speaking about the events is theJill Zarin! Could it be… that Jill, who is rumored to be hiding out vacationing in Italy with husband, Bawby has been … dropped from the lineup?! Likely not, given that Andy Cohen is still vacationing happily instead of entering the Witness Protection Program!
Which brings me to my next bit of news, unfortunately for all us former fans, The NY Post is now reporting that Bravo is feeling skittish about involving any new housewives in the franchise – despite some attempts to recast in the hopes of including more “downtown types.” As you recall, with the exception of last season’s newbie Cindy Bore-shop, there have been no offical rumors speculating about who Bravo was considering replacing, however a source reveals: “They looked at over 30 women, and narrowed it to three [new cast members].”
But after the unexpected tragedy with Russell Armstrong, the network became nervous about shaking things up; and especially concerned about informing castmembers they were out. “The last thing they need right now are more surprises,” the source explains. “The first one to get axed is going to write a book, and these girls know the secrets of production. The show’s still working on some level, even if Bravo is tired of the story lines.”
A rep from Bravo confirms the last statement, explaining: “Production was pushed, as we are finalizing some details for the new season. The cast will be notified once shooting is about to commence.”
Soon to be fired castmember Cindy also echoed that sentiment, telling the HollywoodLife blog that Bravo will be making the casting decision this week. “Obviously nobody’s got it going down right now, but soon — probably another week everybody will know,” said Cindy late last week.
A Bravo insider reveals the network has to send a letter notifying the cast members that their options have been picked up. The women then have the choice to accept the offer. “After the girls accept, that’s when Bravo would announce season five,” the insider says. “The girls will be notified right before filming begins.”
And there you have it. I guess, Bravo already knows what to expect from the current crazy … Too bad they can’t trust that the fans are all really tired of the storylines and the ladies, as well. Perhaps if the ratings take a nosedive that will get Cohen, et al to finally wake up! Or we could always start a Twitition…
Do you think Bravo will recast any of the ladies except Cindy? Are you surprised by the network’s reaction? Will you be watching if the cast (and the subsequent storylines) remain the same?
“Alright so Gia finally has a Twitter account! It’s @TrueGia It’s really her, but her mgr @XistTalentMaria monitors it so be nice! She’s 10!” wrote Teresa, adding, “Love love love you @TrueGia !!! Can’t believe your first tweet was to @BravoAndy though and not me! xx.”
Bravo’s own Andy Cohen also welcomed the 5th grader to the twitter! Andy tweeted to Gia: “@TrueGia omg gia i didn’t see this tweet! i need you to come demo your fierce runway walk on wwhl! XOX.”
Some are however criticizing Teresa for allowing her young daughter to own a twitter account, citing she might be too young to handle all the attention, both good and bad. Teresa however assures us Gia’s account is monitored by an adult.
“Gia’s Twitter @TrueGia is monitored & filtered by her mgr @XistTalentMaria so she will only see/respond to nice msgs xx,” wrote Teresa. It appears this is to help Gia’s career as she’s trying to get into acting and modeling.
As for G to the I-A, the little one appears beyond excited to be on twitter and has been tweeting up a storm. Below are some of Gia’s adorable tweets -
TELL US – OKAY FOR 10-YEAR-OLD GIA TO TWEET? OR DO YOU THINK SHE’S TOO YOUNG?
