Sober James Kennedy

It’s official – sober James Kennedy is most definitely the world’s greatest DJ/reality TV villain/v-neck shirt wearer/bitchy uptight man child. And on part one of the Vanderpump Rules reunion it was most certainly James who won the night for me. Also Lala Kent came back, and it went well! So far…

First, priorities: we must delve into the wardrobe atrocities that always dominate these things. In this category Brittany Cartwright, bless her heart, was the worst offender. She was wearing what looked like a prom dress turned into stripper stage wear – clearly a Pinterest hack gone wrong.  Actually Brittany’s dress kinda looked like one of Katie Maloney‘s bridesmaids dresses.

Although I am sad that this season of Vanderpump Rules season is coming to a close, there’s nothing I love more than those reunion episodes and part one seriously brought the entertainment. Not only that, but I got to enjoy the Southern Charm season premiere right after that. You’re probably going to judge me for admitting this, but it was the best Monday I’ve had in a while.

So it obviously got even better in my eyes when eleven o’clock rolled around and Scheana Marie and Shep Rose stopped by to dish on all of the latest gossip with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. Obviously, Scheana was asked about her rekindled friendship with cast pariah Lala Kent and of course, pretty much every Southern Charm conversation turns to that forever-unanswered question “Did Thomas Ravenel and Landon Clements hook up?”

Kelly Bensimon return to RHONY?

I don’t know why Kelly Bensimon would ever return to Real Housewives of New York, but I would be pumped if she did. Sure, it wasn’t the best look for her, but she really made good TV. I will never in my life forget her weird rant about Al Sharpton and jelly beans while she was arguing with Bethenny Frankel on Scary Island.

Bethenny made a return to RHONY and even Jill Zarin will appear next season, so why not bring back Kelly? Well, apparently this is a possibility.

It seems like there is a Kandi Burruss-centered story line in every episode of this Real Housewives of Atlanta season. She has been on the show since season two, but this is the first one where Kandi is really taking a lot of heat. It started with the demise of her friendship with Phaedra Parks and it has continued with Porsha Williams accusing her of attempted drugging and having a sex dungeon. Now Phaedra is involved in a lawsuit against Kandi and she did not see it coming… until she watched the latest episodes.

Kandi explained her reaction to those scenes with Phaedra and her former employee Johnny during an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. She shares her reaction to the sad drama that went down with Sheree Whitfield and Bob Whitfield in Hawaii. She also talked about the possibility of renewing her friendship with Kim Zolciak in the future.

Vanderpump Rules reunion

Our first look at the Vanderpump Rules reunion is here. Bravo promises that everything from “scandalous hookups” and “cheating accusations” to “wild wedding festivities” will be argued about ad nauseam covered at the Season 5 reunion, which Andy Cohen said was “intense.”

Look below for pictures and a breakdown of the three-part reunion. Yes, three parts, because apparently season five was a hit with viewers. <blank stare> I personally thought that this was the worst season yet, but Bravo claims that this season of Vanderpump Rules is “on track to deliver its highest rated season ever” with a reported average of 2.4 million viewers.

Erika Girardi

Last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode was a hot mess. I found myself rooting for Erika Girardi to destroy Dorit Kemsley during their argument. But then I was vicariously embarrassed for Erika when she freaked out at her biggest fan Eileen Davidson for making an innocent comment.

Erika stopped by Watch What Happens Live to address the intense episode with Andy Cohen and fellow guest, Real Housewives fanatic Megan McCain. I have to admit that I am an Erika Jayne fan, so it was tough for me to watch. It was the first time in Erika’s two years on the show when I found it difficult to back her up. I was nervous about the (deserved) backlash that she was bound to get for flipping out at Eileen for no reason.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I was actually pretty moved by Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz wedding. I know we didn’t even get to the actual vows part yet, but it was so sweet when Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval surprised Schwartz by flying out his triplet brothers to attend the wedding.

It was really nice, but a lot of the viewers were so confused by the couple spending so much money on towel invitations and flower arrangements instead of paying for his family to attend the event. Still, this is a way nicer criticism than the hate the couple has faced all season in response to their drunken arguments.

Hell basically froze over this season on Real Housewives of Atlanta when Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks put an end to their years of feuding and throwing shade. They actually got along for more than one episode and Kenya even helped Phaedra with her summer camp for kids affected by the Flint water crisis. After Phaedra’s reaction and mean text to Kenya throwing her a divorce party, it seems like their peace was short-lived.

Kenya confirmed that she is done with Phaedra during her most recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. And while she was at it, Kenya threw some shade at Porsha Williams and Sheree Whitfield as per usual.
