2014 was a year for law breaking, court cases, tax issues, and bankruptcies from our favorite reality TV stars.
Below, we’ll update you on who owes what, whose divorce is a mess, who is suing, who is being sued, and who’s going to prison! In addition to adding several new cases to the rosters of law-dabbling reality stars, some stars continued to battle existing cases – such as Jacqueline Laurita‘s and Sonja Morgan‘s bankruptcies.
Meanwhile other stars finally resolved long-standing issues. Undoubtedly the biggest legal drama of the year was Teresa Giudice finally facing a judge and being sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to 4 counts of fraud, which all began way back in 2009 when the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star filed for bankruptcy for an incredible $13 million dollars of debt!
It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from our good friend Farrah Abraham. But there have been two rumors about her circulating recently and we felt the need to update you, her fans. HA. I’m just kidding. Farrah’s only fan is Farrah. Um, and maybe Teen Mom 2 stalker Adam Lind, which brings me to the first rumor. Brace yourselves. It’s a doozy.
Rumor #1 – Adam wants to break into the porn industry, and he thinks the easiest way to shoot to super-porn-stardom is to make a tape with Farrah, the backdoor to endless possibilities.
“Adam is eager to get into the porn world and thinks that Farrah would make the perfect partner,” claimed a totally reliable source. #sarcasm “Adam loves what Farrah has done with her Teen Mom career. He thinks they could really rake in a lot of money since they’re both celebrities.” HAHAHAHA <celebrities> HAHAHA <can’t breathe> HAHAHAHA
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite family photos from the past few weeks.
Above: Jenni Pulos shared, “Have a week full of happy.”
MTV released a clip of the Ask The Moms special – and there’s drammaaaaa!
When asked about social media, Amber made a point to say that she follows all the other girls but one. “I think I pretty much follow everybody and they follow me except for Jenelle,” she said. “There’s some stuff that was going on, so I had to not do that.” That “stuff” was an interview Amber gave in March, where she called Jenelle irresponsible and immature, and Jenelle lashed back.
Reportedly, MTV decided to revive the series after the update specials, Being Maci, Being Amber, Being Farrah, and Being Catelynn, were well received by fans. So what happened to party girl Maci and cutie patootie Bentley‘s spinoff? Apparently, Maci did film with MTV, but the network decided against a regular series and turned the random footage into the Being Maci special.
Right away Farrahdenied being fired, however, today she said that she feels MTV made a mistake when they fired her. It’s like Farrah lives in one of those “Choose Your Own Adventure” books… Turn to page 32 if your delusional self believes you weren’t fired. Turn to page 54 if you admit you were fired.
The Teen Mom stars – minus Farrah Abraham – and the Teen Mom 2 stars filmed an “Ask the Moms” special, where the “biggest Teen Mom fans” were given a chance to ask the MTV stars questions. This could be really bad or really good. If nothing else, let’s hope the fans questions were better than Dr. Drew Pinsky‘s predictable, misogynistic questions.
But part of me is beginning to wonder if Farrah told MTV that she didn’t want to participate because filming Teen Mom would require – GASP! – spending time with her child. If you will recall, Sophia is living her own life, and Farrah is busy promoting her sex toys, opening a restaurant, pretending to write fiction books, gearing up for her first movie role, and working as a stripper. Where would she find the time to play mom for the cameras?
