The ratings on Real Housewives of New York are finally really picking up – which coincidentally coincides with an increase in drama. Out to demonstrate that the on-screen drama matches the off-screen drama the ladies took to Twitter following Monday’s episode to square-off and call each other out. Taking most of the beating? Why Pinot Singer, of course!
First up, Ramona chose to involve herself in the business matters between Heather Thomson and Sonja Morgan. If you recall, Heather announced that Sonja was not a client, because, well clients pay and Sonja she was receiving some friendly advice free of charge.
Quick question…how can you tell when people just want to live their lives in the reality television spotlight? Apparently the answer lies within VH1’s show Couples Therapy. It seems to be the show that has-been reality couples go to revive their careers (how’s that working out, Guard and ProtectKasey Kahl?). Even the couples who are adamant about their strong unions seem so seek out the “self-help” show when they fall off the reality radar.
Case in point? Silex. Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen were attached at the hip for their seasons on Real Housewives of New York. The goo-goo-ga-ga couple often bragged about their intense connection and spending minimal time apart. In fact, the couple spent a ridiculous amount of time looking down their noses at their counterparts for not having as strong a union as they shared…maybe by “union” I mean wardrobe…
Well LuAnn, knowing from experience, warns Adrienne not to let a reality show interfere with her marriage or her family. I mean after all, one doesn’t want to become a disgraced discountess!
“Don’t let reality TV mess with your family,” the Real Housewives of New York star warns Adrienne. LuAnn has experienced her husband’s infidelity (and her own) becoming a show plot-line and she has also been involved in accusations against her teenaged daughter on the show.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, I suppose!
According to the NY Daily News, a couple weeks ago the former Housewife received a “strong-worded letter” from Bravo execs concerning her weekly vlogs. Essentially Alex‘s secret-spilling has prompted a “put a lid on it” summation from the network.
An insider reveals that producers and executives are extremely unhappy that Alex has revealed that portions of the plot are influenced or manipulated by producers.
Former Real Housewives of New York stars Alex McCord andSimon van Kempen have been desperate to get back into the reality TV spotlight ever since getting fired. Silex, the couple that never, ever went anywhere apart have perhaps started drifting apart and the two have recently signed on to VH1’s Couples Therapy.
Couples Therapy has handled relationship dramas for desperate famewhores of all walks of reality TV, from Kasey Kahl and Vienna Girardi to Linda Hogan and that teenager who recently dumped her. I like to think of it as the home to ghosts of reality shows past! Well now Silex has joined the cast.
The Huffington Post reports, “For a couple of days last week, they were being trailed by a film crew, both in Manhattan and Brooklyn.”
Say what?! Andy uses graphs and charts to cast the crazy?! According to a new interview with AdAge, Andy credited research for the reasoning behind the firings. “We snort up research like fine Colombian cocaine,” he admitted of the Bravomeisters approach to determining what viewers want.
“I love Twitter because it’s a live focus group,” said Andy, explaining that one reason certain cast members of RHONY were let go was because of negative feedback about them on social media.
It’s #PrideByBravo and out to celebrate the momentous occasion are some of our favorite Bravolebrities! The stars have been updating their twitters with photos of the event. Below are some of our favorites!

On the season premiere, Countless told her new co-stars of Ramoana’s threat regarding her children. The maven of manners also demanded an apology for last season’s drama during a party. I find her public admonishment of ol’ Crazy Eyes a tad hypocritical, given there is, according to LuAnn, a time and a place for everything. For example, you don’t talk about losing a parent over drinks with friends. It’s poor form. However, making others uncomfortable at a party is completely acceptable behavior. In her Bravo blog, she explains it all…and with words we serfs can understand. CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR THE REST!
