In an all new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kate Gosselin finally opens up about the news of her two kids being expelled from private school.

In Touch magazine was the first media outlet to break the news two weeks ago, reporting that two of the Gosselin kids – Alexis and Collin Gosselin – both age 6, were kicked out of school for “rage issues” and bullying other kids.

Now the Kate Plus 8 mom is denying her kids were expelled, instead claiming she elected to pull them out of school for home tutoring. “Two of my children are being tutored at home, with a teacher who is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school, doing the identical curriculum,” Kate stated in the interview.

So why randomly pull two out of your eight children from school? “The pressure was getting to them,” she said. “You have the divorce anger mixed in with that. … The goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible.”

Right. PEOPLE magazine, which also reported the expulsion story, is however not retracting their story. In fact, they published another article yesterday following Kate’s interview, which reiterated the fact that the kids were indeed expelled from their private school.

It was only a matter of time.

Days after In Touch weekly first reported the news, PEOPLE magazine is now confirming that two of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s kids have been expelled from their private school in Pennsylvania.

Why you might ask? According to In Touch, the kids – Alexis and Collin Gosselin – both age 6, were kicked out for “rage issues.”

“They’ve fought with their peers, called them nasty names and made fun of other kids,” a source told the magazine. In fact, the In Touch report suggests the kids’ filming schedule might have caused the trouble at school.

“Collin had such bad issues that he refused to get his picture taken at school because he’s tired of being on-camera,” the source said. “The things they are saying are not words they should know,” the source continued. “They are learning them somewhere, but Jon doesn’t know where.”

PEOPLE magazine also confirms the kids are now being homeschooled while a source close to Kate claims the reports of violence and bullying is being exaggerated (um no it’s not if it got them expelled).

“The situation is being grossly overstated,” the source says. “The kids are going through a challenging time, but Kate doesn’t feel this is something that should be discussed publicly. It is a private matter.”

The battle between the Gosselins continues. In response to the recent news of Jon Gosselin ending Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate Gosselin’s lawyer says her estranged husband Jon won’t have much luck terminating the show’s production.

“These parties entered into an agreement once the divorce action was filed that allowed each parent – who had physical custody of the children – to make the filming decisions when the children were with them,” Kate’s lawyer Mark Momjian said on the Today show Friday.

“When the children are with Kate, Jon agreed that Kate would make the filming decisions involving the kids,” he added.

Jon appeared on Larry King Live Thursday stating that an “epiphany” ” led him to want to end the show. Mark slams Jon because a week ago, Jon was involved in the shooting of the show. Also, he says Jon could have announced he didn’t want his kids to be on the show “a year ago, but he didn’t.”

“His active participation and encouragement of the show involved all the children and a decision by both parents to include the children and continue production,” he said.

Jon’s lawyer, Mark Heller told Larry King during the interview that the show will be halted and he is certain that no judge would ever “subject the children to the show if the father believes it’s detrimental.”

But Kate’s lawyer says that the eight children — 5-year-old sextuplets Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin and 8-year-old twins, Cara and Mady — “are loved by both of their parents. Jon admits that his wife is a wonderful parent, they live in their family home. Kate is their primary caretaker. They’ve reached agreements about custody.”

Kate “is going to honor her contract,” Mark said. “She’d like to continue with the show. She loves doing the show.”
