Roberto then got on one knee and proposed to an accepting Ali, which seemed like a traditional ending for the ABC hit show. The surprise of the night however came when Ali, 25, told finalist Chris Lambton, a 33-year-old contractor from Cape Cod, Mass., that she was in love with Roberto — just before the two were supposed to go on their final date, definitely a first in the show’s history.
“I’m in love with somebody else. I have to let you go here and not wait until tomorrow. This wasn’t an easy decision. It was really hard. I just didn’t want to put you through tomorrow because I know that’s going to be so hard,” said Ali to Chris.
Roberto, 26, had longed been the front runner of the show from the start, after receiving the first impression rose from Ali. Oddly enough, this is the first time in the show’s history that the person who received the first impression rose came out the winner.
“I love Roberto,” gushed Ali. “I love him. I’ve never ever in my whole life felt this good in a relationship.”
Ali and Roberto also appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show Monday night, during which Ali revealed she and Roberto would like to walk down the aisle “in the spring” of next year.
Now that the show is over, the question on everyone’s minds is who will be the next Bachelor? It has been rumored that Ty Brown from this Bachelorette season was being considered, but according to the show insider, Reality Steve, ABC would like Chris Lambton for the upcoming season.
Reality Steve reported yesterday that Chris, 33, has been offered the next Bachelor spot and that he will likely accept. The official announcement will come from ABC any day now.
TELL US: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE SEASON FINALE? WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE CHRIS AS THE BACHELOR?
This season finale of “The Bachelorette” is set to air tonight, in what ABC is touting as an ending that has never happened in the Bachelorette history.
Ali Fedotowskyis now left with her two finalists, Chris Lambton, a 33-year-old landscaper from Cape Cod, and Roberto Martinez, a 26-year-old insurance agent from Charleston, both of whom will be meeting her family in tonight’s episode. Ali will spend her final date with Roberto jet skiing, swimming and picnicking, while her date with Chris L. is described as emotional and taking a surprising turn.
And for the first time in the past few Bachelor/Bachelorette seasons, the finale results have not been leaked. Even Bachelor show insider RealitySteve.com had admitted he does not know how the show ends this season.
This has of course led to a ton of rumors and speculation about what Ali will do tonight. The most popular one is that Ali will pick no one, which has never happened in the Bachelorette history. The other speculation is that Ali will pick one of the guys, and then propose to the winner.
There are also conflicting media reports, which only leads to more confusion regarding Ali’s final choice. UsWeekly is reporting Ali is engaged to one of her finalists, and is planning her wedding while Star magazine is reporting this week that Ali was seen flirting with NFL Quarterback Matt Leinart, even giving him her phone number.
While we all continue to speculate on the ending, one rumor that has been debunked is the one about the newly single Jake Pavelka coming back next season as the show’s Bachelor. The show’s host Chris Harrisontells E! Online, “No. Never. [Laughs.] That will never happen. Not with me as a host anyway,” when asked about the possibility of Jake returning.
When it comes to tongiht’s ending, Chris says, “People will be surprised. Whether it’s good or not, Ali’s happy with it and she’s sticking by it. It’ll be interesting. I really just want to sit back and watch the fan reactions, what the comments are and how they feel it all played out.”
And as for Ali, well let’s just say she’s not giving anything away, only saying she is happy with her decision.
What is certain is that the finale airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC, immediately followed by “After the Final Rose.”
TELL US – WHO DO YOU THINK ALI WILL PICK? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE TONIGHT?
ABC announced this weekend that the all new cast will be revealed on August 30, during an episode of their upcoming reality series Bachelor Pad.
As for the casting rumors, we reported last week that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino are said to be in talks to appear on the new season. Since then, there have been numerous reports stating that Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky will be appearing on the show.
RadarOnline also reported days ago that current headline maker/Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is in “secret negotiations” to join the cast.
The new season of DWTS is set to premiere on Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
TELL US: WHO WOULD YOU RATHER SEE ON THE SHOW? TERESA, THE SITUATION OR ALI?
The ‘Men Tell All‘ reunion of the Bachelorette is set to air tonight on ABC, during which Ali Fedotowsky will be forced to face all the contestants she eliminated this season.
So what can we expect tonight? This seems to be the big question as the most memorable and most controversial contestants from this season will be absent from tonight’s show. Three timing douche Justin Rego, and heart-breaker Frank Neuschaefer did not attend the taping. Also not in attendance are finalists Roberto Martinez and Chris Lambton. Even the controversial Craig McKinnon was not in attendance.
While Justin did not attend the taping, as he has claimed in the past that the Bachelorette producers gave him a bad edit, his absence did not stop the other guys from bashing him.
“The guy is evil. He wanted to make it to the final three and sabotage everything she wanted to do,” Craig R. tells host Chris Harrison. “I am speaking for each one of you right now that none of us feel we want to continue any ongoing friendship with him.”
ContestantTy Brown, who is rumored to be in the running to be the next Bachelor, also brings up the fact that Justin received the most votes the very first night when the guys voted him as the one who was there for the wrong reason, saying, “How could 25 guys be wrong?” Weatherman Jonathan Novack also gets ganged up on tonight, as the guys scold him for not being forthcoming when Craig M. asked who had ratted him out to Ali as “dangerous.”
In other Bachelorette news, PEOPLE magazine is reporting that Kirk DeWindt, who was eliminated by Ali after making it to the final 4, has since moved on.
According to PEOPLE, Kirk is now dating Jessie Sulidis, who competed with Ali for Jake Pavelka’s heart during the former season of the Bachelor.
The two reportedly met during an after party for the July 17th taping of the Men Tell All, during which they exchanged numbers and a kiss. Kirk is said to be driving to Canada this weekend to visit Jesse and a source tells the mag “he is definitely over Ali!” Jesse will also be appearing on the upcoming Bachelor Pad.
Ali had the following to say during her appearance on Lopez Tonight Tuesday: “Just because he wears really nice turtleneck sweaters does not mean he’s gay!” Jake has been the subject of gay rumors since his nasty split with Vienna Girardi last month, after Vienna, 24, told Star magazine he refused to have sex with her for months.
BuzzSugar also did an all new interview with Ali during which she discusses being dumped by Frank Neuschafer, what really happens on those overnight dates, and briefly touches on her final decision.
Excerpts from Ali’s interview is below -
BuzzSugar: Was it difficult to watch this week’s episode with Frank again? Ali Fedotowsky: I really did get emotional. I’ve been watching the shows and sort of reliving them, so to see myself that down is hard. Watching yourself cry is difficult! It just reaffirmed that I’m so much better off for him leaving. This whole time, I had always said to my producers that I knew Frank would hurt me at same point. He really made me feel insecure throughout the thing, and I said to him, ‘My relationship with you scares me.’ I’m positive that I would not have ended up with Frank in the end, because I wouldn’t have been able to commit to someone who scared me that much.
Buzz: Last night we saw the overnight dates — are they as awkward as they look? AF: So awkward! I shouldn’t even say awkward, but you don’t know what people are expecting. Because I’m offering a guy an overnight date card, that doesn’t mean we’re going to go in the room and take all of our clothes off and get into bed! Yes, I’m giving him an overnight card, but I am not the type of girl to be with one guy, and then a minute later be with another guy. I would never do that. Ever. It’s not what people think it is. I don’t know that I’m even necessarily ready to sleep next to a guy one night and then another guy the next night.
Buzz: Well, we know Frank is out, but there are conflicting rumors saying that you’re single or that you’re engaged and already planning your wedding! Has it been difficult to keep the real outcome a secret? AF: I’m good at keeping secrets, so it’s been OK. But it is really hard in the sense that I don’t want to keep in the secret! I just want to be like, ‘You’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re kind of right but wrong.’ I just want everything out there, so I can talk about it and live my life whether I’m a single woman or whether I’m happily engaged.
Buzz: So, I take it you’re happy with your decision? AF: I’m so happy with my decision. I wouldn’t change anything!
TELL US: WHO DO YOU PREDICT WILL BE ALI’S FINAL PICK? CHRIS OR ROBERTO?
The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky is opening up to Ok magazine about her all new weight loss. The photo on the left is the before shot taken on June 22nd, and the photo on the right is Ali today.
The 25-year-old reality star tells the mag her weight went up and down during the taping of the show. “I was always hungry!” Ali tellsOK! of packing on 10 pounds while filming. “I didn’t think much of it, but everyone noticed.
So how did Ali lose the 10 pounds fast? “I am not the person who will be at the gym all the time,” she confesses to OK!. “Usually, I do the treadmill for about 30 minutes, or I will try to do something else.”
Eat healthy 6 days a week, 1 day is cheat day: “I am good during the week, and one day I pig out,” Ali says. “I love pizza from Domino’s or Pizza Hut and a Diet Coke.”
Cook your own food. “I love egg white omelets because I can actually cook the egg whites myself!,” says Ali.
Buy your own food. “I go to the grocery store,” says Ali, “and I will buy the ready-made chicken breasts from the deli counter. I buy four or five at a time, and I’ll have them with a salad.”
Have healthy snacks. “I eat chicken breast as a high-protein snack with some honey mustard or barbecue sauce,” Ali says. “I also love air-popped popcorn.”
Do 30 minute cardio kicks. “I do the treadmill for about 30 minutes,” Ali says. “I [also] love kick-boxing. You can think of your ex-boyfriends while your doing it, like, ‘I HATE YOU!’”
Try a good pair of shoes. “I just got the Sketched Shape-ups sneakers and they really work,” Ali says. “I went for a walk wearing them, and it was really a good workout because I was using so many more muscles in my legs than I usually do.”
The Bachelorette finale episode airs July 26th on ABC.
Frank Neuschaefer broke Ali’s heart last night when he told her he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend Nicole Caruso. ” I did not see this coming,” said Ali, as the two of them cried. She later declared, “I just feel like he’s just the biggest jerk I’ve ever known!”
Even more surprising, the Bachelorette show, which seems to Ali had to say in her PEOPLE blog today about Frank’s actions -
“Now onto the biggest shock of the season for me — Frank leaving. I don’t even know where to begin when trying to explain how I felt when this all went down. I guess I will start by saying that I did not expect it at all. Back in Iceland, I asked Frank about his ex girlfriends. I told him that I could sense that he was not over his ex, so I asked if he still had feeling for the ex that went to Paris with him. He told me that he did not have feelings for her anymore and we moved passed it. My instincts were dead on. I just didn’t have the right ex. I really wish that Frank had been more honest with me. This wasn’t the only time I gave him a chance to be honest. In Turkey, after Justin left, I went up to the guys’ suite, looked each of them in the eye and told them that if any of them had someone back home this was their chance to say something. I flat out asked everyone. Frank said nothing. If Frank has found love, then I really want to be happy for him. However, I have a hard time excusing what he did to me when I gave him so many chances to be honest.
When I first saw Frank I thought maybe he was feeling unsure about the other guys again and that I had to reassure him again. Then I thought maybe something tragic happened and I was super worried for him. I quickly realized that Frank was leaving. I was heartbroken.
After Frank left, I felt defeated. Don’t get me wrong, I was very well aware that I had two unbelievable men left, but I couldn’t help but think that my journey as the Bachelorette wasn’t going to work out. This was not because I thought Frank was the guy for me, but because this was the second guy to leave the show for a girl back home. I remember thinking, “First Justin, now Frank. Who’s next? Can this really work for me?” In addition to that, I didn’t want the last two guys to think they were there by default. I think this was especially emotional for me because it has happened to me before in the past. A guy that I once really cared about left me for an ex
In the end, Frank and I are both better off after what happened. I really cared for him and I always will.”
And when it comes to Frank and Nicole, they are still together. The latest issue of InTouch magazine published the above picture of them kissing. The photo was taken on July 5th and the mag reveals they are both very much in love. The mag also states Frank wanted to inform Ali of his feelings for Nicole earlier, but the producers ignored him, perhaps wanting him to make it farther in the show for a more dramatic exit.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE BACHALORETTE AND FRANK’S ACTIONS?
While the entire world focused solely on the Jake and Vienna reunion showdown that took place on Monday night’s episode of the Bachelorette, a certain eliminated contestant got lost in the shuffle.
Ty Brown, a 31-year-old medical sales rep from Nashville, TN, found himself the latest bachelor to be eliminated by Ali Fedotowsky, right before the hometown visits on the show.
In a new interview with EtOnline, Ty discusses his elimination, who he predicts will win Ali’s heart in the end, and if he’s open to being the next Bachelor.
Excerpts from his interview below -
When Ali let you go, you didn’t seem to be that emotional. Were you more shocked than sad? Or did it sink in later?
Ty Brown: Nobody wants to get let go, especially at that stage in the show. I suppose you are right. I was shocked. At the same time, if I was going to be going home before being the last person there, it was almost relieving because I didn’t have to get my family involved. At the same time, I was disappointed that I went home. She made the decision she made. I had a great time doing it and it was fun. I didn’t get as emotional as people do, but it was overwhelming at the time.
You have always had a music career. How receptive are people now that you have been on “The Bachelorette”?
Ty Brown: It is funny how country music fans accept you. I have been playing around for a long time, but it definitely hasn’t hurt anything. When I got back and we finished the song that I wrote on the show, it was amazing to see how many people jumped on board and were like, “This is a great song. This is a great opportunity. You’ve got a great story with this.” They have been very welcoming. The opportunities I have had because of the show are wonderful. I have met and written with some of the best artists and writers in Nashville.
Do you think your conversation with Ali about your first marriage, and the fact that your family was very traditional, and your ideas of what a wife should be going into that first marriage, raised red flags for her?
Ty Brown: I think you are absolutely right. I think it did raise a lot of questions for her. And I wanted to do address that with her and I did the very next week because I did grow up in a traditional lifestyle. My mom was a school teacher, but she waited until the kids were in school to work. My dad, of course, always worked — sometimes two jobs. My mom cooked dinner every night. I did tell her that I grew up in that traditional lifestyle. Does that mean that is what I am looking for? No. I wanted to get that across to her. It thrills me to see somebody who is so ambitious, who knows what she wants and is not scared to speak up and go get it. Someone who has goals set for themselves. That is very attractive to me. I like that. I was trying to get that across to her and maybe I didn’t do such a great job. I think that may be one of the things she was concerned with.
Which of the four remaining guys do you see with Ali?
Ty Brown: There are things about every one of those guys that I like. If I had to pick one, I think Chris L., in my opinion, is one of the better fits for Ali. He is a good guy. It took them a while to hit it off and really get into good conversations. I didn’t know that, but after watching the show, they had good chemistry and a good time together. They had a lot in common. I think his family life was a little different than most everybody else’s.
Do you think she will actually pick someone?
Ty Brown: I have no idea. I hope she does. I hope she picks someone and they are very happy, but who knows?
If they asked you to be the next “Bachelor,” would you?
Ty Brown: If they ask me to be the next “Bachelor,” I would definitely consider it. I am ready to move on with my life and I don’t have anybody. It would be exciting. After being on the show already, I know it is very difficult.
