When the former Real Housewives of Atlantaco-star NeNe Leakesappeared on the daytime chatfest, The View, last month, she felt a chill in the air and according to her, the strongest breeze was coming from co-host Raven-Symoné’s direction. The often opinionated statuesque diva, who recently appeared on Bravo’sWatch What Happens Liveshow told Andy Cohen that all of The View’s female cohosts were “not kind” to her. Even though NeNe Ophelia Leakes is claiming, the chatty co-hosts guzzled hateration during her segment, Raven-Simone offered her an ‘apology’ viaE! Newsbut really doesn’t understand, how the celeb felt she was given the side-eye.
NeNe, who is certainly not known for finessing her words, spilled the tea-hee-hee on what went on during her guest segment on the popular ABC-TV show. The show’s producers asked NeNe to appear on the show to primarily promote her co-starring role on the Broadway hit, Chicago. The segment got off to a rocky start with Joy complaining how NeNe’s jewelry injured her shoulder, as she walked out to greet each of them. When the women discussed marriage, Joy threw NeNe for a loop when she asked why she divorced her husband Gregg in the first place, viewers could see discomfort written all across her over-made-up face. In true NeNe form however, she snapped back, informing especially Joy, how she had to teach Gregg a lesson. “What kind of lesson,” Joy sarcastically asked. NeNe’s retort, “A lot of them…to never cross me in the wrong way, how about that!”
If you missed it, James and Lala were guests on WWHL last week and they were swearing up a storm, causing a good chunk of the episode to be bleeped out and forcing Andy to name the duo as his Jackhole of the Day.
The censor got really carried away – not just bleeping the curse words, but the entire sentence before and after, which really killed the show. So, while it is James and Lala’s fault for the way they acted and the things they said, the bleeper should take some of the blame, too! They didn’t have to get so heavy handed about it!
Lala and James took to Twitter (where else?) to apologize to Andy Cohen.
Lala, who is new to Vanderpump Rules this season, tweeted, “I’m so sorry for my potty mouth Andy. Thank you so much for having me. And thank u to my supporters. U keep me breathing. #iloveyou” Considering the ink isn’t even dry on her contract yet AND she attached herself to the oh so repulsive James, I’m guessing she doesn’t have nearly as many supporters as she thinks she does.
About his emotional talk with his mom, James said, “It was a difficult time for me. I made a lot of mistakes this summer. I feel like what I was going through with my family was definitely a part of that – it took me into a little bit of a whirlwind. With everything going on at SUR and with my parents, it was just a lot to handle.”
James said insinuating that he used Kristen Doute to get more screen time is “preposterous,” adding, “It’s not like I was banging her for four months and became a primary. We were together for a year and a half. We had a Christmas tree together last year. I don’t understand…” <silence> Because, swearing.
Andy starts off by asking Phaedra about the stories that circulated recently, claiming that Apollo was being transferred to Ft. Dix, the prison Joe Giudice will be heading off to in February to serve his four year stint. She confirms that Apollo is already there.
When asked about Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump‘s comments about Yolanda‘s lack of makeup at her party, Lisa said, “I was surprised by that because I thought Yolanda looked beautiful – and looks beautiful, so beautiful, without makeup. That was a surprising moment because she is gorgeous.”
A viewer said Ken Todd has been “a little bit of a douchebag” this season and asked Lisa what she thinks about it. She laughed, “I’m not touching that with a ten-foot pole,” adding, “I love Ken.” Do you agree with the caller about Ken?
Kristen‘s ex-boyfriend, James Kennedy, was the main focus of Vanderpump Rules again this week. For reasons I will never understand, girls are sleeping with him and then fighting over him. Ariana Madix nailed my reaction perfectly, when she deadpanned, “People want to have sex with James?” Right?!
About Porsha and Cynthia’s fight, NeNe says, “Lord, have mercy. It was a lot. It was disappointing, and it was a lot.”
NeNe is torn over who is at fault. “Honestly, I really do not know whose fault it is,” she says. “I have to say that in the beginning Cynthia kinda started it a little with the whole… I don’t think Porsha said the ‘b’ word in an offensive way, but I think Porsha took it to another level. I feel like they both have a lot of blame.”
