Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
It was hard to figure out how I felt about Real Housewives of Dallas. At first, I thought the entire cast was annoying. Then they really started to grow on me, but I quickly grew tired of the constant poop-related story lines, LeeAnne Locken talking about the “charity world”, and Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman using the phrase “Jesus juice” to describe wine. These women were doing the most and it wasn’t always the best.
As the season went on, I became more invested (as I always do), so I feel like there is some potential here, but the show is far from perfect. With so many super successful Real Housewives shows, it makes me wonder if the Dallas series will be renewed for a second season.
Last night on Watch What Happens Live, Tamra Judge and Odd Mom Out’s Jill Kargman (love that show!) hung out with Andy Cohen in the clubhouse. They joked about Tamra’s dark spray tan against Jill’s bright white skin (Twilight meets Dynasty), Tamra dished on more Vicki Gunvalson drama, a caller tried to get a rise out of her, and so much more.
Andy plays the clip of Vicki sobbing in the limo on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Tamra says, “It’s heartbreaking. I don’t want to see anybody upset and hurting but you gotta do the right thing. She made zero effort with any of us. The last time I saw her was at the reunion show. She Tweeted saying she apologized to everybody, but she didn’t. So it was an awkward feeling at the boat because she didn’t make an effort, so we didn’t make an effort. When I was in front of her I was very nice to her but she really stayed away from everybody.”
What made Mike finally confess after lying all season? “I wasn’t lying. I was having marital problems with me and my wife and I was trying to keep it under wraps, but being on reality TV you don’t really have that freedom. Me and my wife are having problems and I don’t want the world to know so I’m labeled a liar. I decided it’s time for me to come clean because there’s so much speculation.”
Not everyone is cut out to be a Real Housewife and there’s nothing wrong with that. In all honesty, it might even be a compliment. Sometimes Bravo casts women who are just way too normal to be on reality TV. There’s nothing wrong with them as humans, but they are just not fit to expose their lives on reality television.
I have no idea why some of these people were cast, but it happened and we all had to sit through it. Most of the Real Housewives ladies are amazing, then there are some that were just way too boring.
It wouldn’t be a Real Housewives reunion if one of the cast members did not storm off of the stage. The shocking move has become weirdly standard at this point. So I’m really not too surprised that Cary Deuber took part in this Real Housewives rite of passage at the first Real Housewives of Dallas reunion.
Plus, it really does make sense since LeeAnne Locken went out of her way to spread rumors about Cary’s marriage to Mark Deuber. Any normal person would be upset about that and those normal emotions get magnified on the Real Housewives reunion stage.
Andy starts off asking if Bethenny noticed thatLuann de Lesseps has her name misspelled in her phone? “Well, I don’t have to, I have Twitter for that. I didn’t notice but so many people did. It’s so funny the things people pick up on.” Was she surprised by that after all these years of being friends? “No. Maybe she had it like that originally, I don’t know. I don’t really think about things like that.”
