The first Bethenny-less season of The Real Housewives of New York City finally came sputtering to an end- coasting on flimsy hopes and raw inertia ‘til the bitter, dusty end with Andy Cohen selling what’s left of it for scraps. It was a season of false promises, false reconciliations, and of course – false friendships, but never (wink, wink) false dramas. There were feuds, middle eastern nightmares, thugs in cocktail dresses, dueling sweet sixteens and dueling (un)fabulous forty-year-olds (and one pinot-sodden fifty-year-old), musical ineptitude galore, and Jill Zarin remaining the same old Jill Zarin – filled with a plethora of advice, snarkitude, and red-headed fury; proving that she alone will drive this jalopy ‘til it drives no more. Go, Jill, Go!
The Season Finale begins withThe Countess speaking (“Chic, C’est La Vie! Si bon! Si bon!”) to her music producer – naturally they are discussing what a runaway success her song Chic, C’est La Vie will become. Chris surprises LuAnn with a friend of his, who just happened to stop by – a friend who just happens to be Natalie King Cole.

In the first preview clip via PEOPLE.com, it is Sonja vs. Cindy part 3 that is until the perpetually cra cra Kelly Bensimonkeeps inserting herself into the argument because she believes she is the “peacemaker.”
Host Andy Cohen has to break the news to her that she is NOT a peacemaker as well as her fellow Team Brunette pal Countess LuAnn. Oh yeah, the typically boring Cindy is also over dramatic in the clip in an effort to not get the axe from Bravo or something.
In the second preview clip, the delusional Kelly believes she is a nice person because Cosmo magazine rated her as one of the five nicest celebrities. Not surprising since she is a famewhore the type to kiss the butts of those in the media who can give her coverage.
Alex McCord gets into it with Kelly letting her know she is definitely not a nice person. So. much. drama! Both preview clips are below.
Part 1 of the NYC Housewives reunion is set to air Monday, July 25th at 10/9c on Bravo. Part 2 will air the following Monday on August 1.
TELL US - THOUGHTS ON THE PREVIEW CLIPS? IS KELLY STILL AS CRAZY AS EVER?
Despite the awful ratings of her new VH1 series Famous Food which also stars other famewhores such as Heidi Montag and Jake Pavelka, Danielle sings the praises of the show. “I’m so in love with this new show ["Famous Food"] and my new network, VH1,” said Danielle. “My first instinct was ‘yes, yes, yes’ when I was offered the show because it’s not Bravo and it’s not ‘Housewives.’ They did not [look after me] and I really needed that for my children as well. I’m so happy with VH1 it’s not even funny, and they give me so much freedom.”
And despite all of the million reports out there that confirm she was fired by Bravo, Danielle still insists she quit the RHONJ. “The difference between this and the last one is there is resolve at the end of the day,” she explained to the Huffington Post. “And no one is trying to kill me. It got really scary for me and for my children. They begged me not to go back [to Bravo] after the reunion.”
Danielle went on to take more shots at her former costars as well as Bravo’s Andy Cohen, citing no one contacted her to offer condolences after her mother passed away last year. “Not one of them,” stated Danielle. “The only person on bravo who reached out to me was Patty from Millionaire Matchmaker. Not Andy, not one person.” Oh Danielle, Patty was probably trying to sign you up for her TV show!
Danielle also vowed to never watch the RHONJ ever again. “I don’t miss the girls because I never really liked any of them. No I wont watch it. I wouldn’t give it a second of my ratings or my time,” she added.
As we reported, Danielle’s new show Famous Food flopped really badly for the VH1 network, only garnering 430,000 viewers for it’s premiere episode. In comparison the RHONJ was watched by over 2.2 million viewers the same week. Famous Food is the least-watched series debut of the year on VH1.
In fact VH1 has now decided to move the show from Sunday nights to Wednesdays starting tonight.
At the Giudices, they are decorating the hugest Christmas tree ever, but sadly it’s not made of money. Teresa wants us to know that because of the bankruptcy they only got a tree decorated in semi-precious metal and not the one made entirely of gold. D’ya hear that bankruptcy judge – they’re cutting back. If cutting back means driving a Benz and wearing Louboutins then I can only hope to cut back some day! Teresa also wants us to know that all she wants for Christmas is for Melissa’s bad energy to go away. ‘Cause, it gives her a headache.
Melissa is not happy because she just wants an authentic smelling tree for Christmas AND Jesus’ Birthday (which are NOT one and the same, apparently) as she is throwing Jesus like the best birthday party ever. Joey and Melissa discuss their concerns about Jr. Mafia not mixing well with others at their party since he is like totally responsible for the Christening incident. Uh huh. Joey Giudice totally caused the entire thing. Joey G-to-the-Orga and Teresa and Melissa and her sisters had nothing to do with it. Nothing. At. All. Uh huh. We learn Melissa’s hoping to be cast next season sister, Lyssa claims Joe G-to-the-Iudice’s mother punched her in the face at said Christening. Is that where Joe gets it from? Melissa makes it clear NOTHING is going to ruin Jesus’ party!

While in the UK, Mrs. Zarin who is hoping people like her more abroad has been hinting she’d be open to starring in a Real Housewives spin-off show in London: “Jill thinks that a ‘Real Housewives of London’ would be really fabulous and may take the girls there next season on her show.”
Bethenny Frankel fans can rejoice as apparently the Zarins love being on British soil so much they are considering purchasing a home in the ritzy Belgravia or Knightsbridge areas in $10 and $15million range, according to a source.
Jill who has been enjoying shopping, dining, and socializing in London provided no information on whether or not the possibility of a spin-off or a relocation could happen, although her rep offered this statement: “London is one of Jill and Bobby’s favorite cities and they are having a great time there!” I’m sure Jill Z will let us know ASAP about any new developments.
Similarly, Bravo is keeping mum regarding a possible British version of Housewives. Andy Cohen has previously announced he isn’t planning any additional Housewives locations after a disappointing debut in Miami and the cancellation of the DC series following much controversy (aka the Salahis); although there have been rumors of a new outpost in Dallas maybe (hopefully) being in the works. There has also been speculation that Bravo is considering a complete re-cast of RHoNY after the delayed release date and dissent from fans about the storyline and cast members. Maybe part of the recast will be shipping the notorious Jill Zarin across the pond!
Fans have long hoped for an international version of housewives and in the past Andy has mentioned he would entertain the idea. Perhaps using Ambassador Jill to round up fellow castmates, he can parlay her unpopularity into a hit show overseas!? I’m sure he could also convince former DC housewife, and native Brit Cat Ommanney to join the cast!
A picture of Jill out on the town with Ayda and Robbie is below.
Would you watch Real Housewives of London? What about if Jill was included in the cast?
On last night’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa and Melissa vow to put the past behind them but just can’t, Jacqueline has a few too many red wines, Caroline gets her panties in a bunch and isn’t any fun, Kathy wants to open a restaurant, and Teresa invites her Made For TV Family to The Catskills for some old fashioned gun shootin, four-wheelin, TMI sex talk,wine-guzzling fun! Did I mention the TMI sex talk?
Ending where things left off last week, Melissa and Teresa are disagreeing about the Gorga Family Feud. Melissa comes out swinging by essentially blaming Teresa for the “disgusting” Christening debacle and insisting Teresa is never around and never sees their kids. Seriously. And suddenly it becomes all about the Joes and which Joe owes more money to which creditors. In the tit for tat convo, Teresa brings up Joe owing money to some plumbers and Melissa responds with a savage blow when she declares that Jr. Mafia Joe borrowed money from Non-Juicy, but when her hubby tried to collect on his debts Joe told Joe: “If you want your money sue me!” Melissa is confused and wants to know why her fellow shopaholic housewife just can’t skip a pair of Manolos to pay back the loan: “just pay me the $1000 – your wife is wearing more than that on her feet!” Duh!

This taping is a bit early as it is five weeks away from the airing of their season finale (a total of 16 regular episodes will air this season). However as always, the housewives got to see all the episodes that have yet to air before the reunion taping.
As for why Bravo decided to film the reunion so early (it’s usually filmed about 2 – 3 weeks before the finale), Simon van Kempen(whatever happened to his song?) tweeted yesterday that it “was impossible to find a July date when all #RHoNY were in NYC”. They have jobs or something?
Jill Zarintweeted the above photo yesterday of herself with costar Cindy Barshop. Below — more behind the scenes photos of Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, Sonja Morgan & Jill.
An of course all parties involved tweeted during and after the reunion. And based on those tweets, it appears Countess Lulu believes the knock down drag out reunions fights are a “great time,” Kelly needed some help from her “fans” on what to say, Andy Cohen might or might not have lost his temper with the ladies, and if there’s one thing clear, it is that it’s still the Brunettes vs the Blondes.
Below are some of the tweets in chronological order -
CountessLuAnn – “Having a great time with the girls! #RHONYReunionShow”
Kellybensimon – “Every #reunion, @BravoAndy asks a quick reflection on the season.TELL ME how I’ve changed this season!I will quote you on #RHONYReunionShow”
BravoAndy – “We just wrapped the RHNYC reunion. It was EPIC. I can barely hear. (Maybe I lost my temper at the ladies!) I need a drink.”
Ramonasinger – “I survived the reunion! (and don’t worry…so did Andy haha)”
Jillzarin “Omg! What a day!!!”
Jillzarin – “With my Girls @CountessLuAnn @kellybensimon our own after party!”
Mccordalex – “Amazing #Rhony reunion & then @ramonasinger @SimonvanKempen @SonjatMorgan and I all went to #gawkerpride party for Marriage Equality!!”
Ramonasinger – “We ALL survived! Lol rt “@RHO_TWEETS: @ramonasinger how brutal was it?!””
Kellybensimon – “Love my @jillzarin @countessluann @cindybarshop @bravotv”
Mccordalex – “Intense day of filming yesterday for #RHONY…
Meanwhile, an all new episode of the RHONY is set to air tonight on Bravo at 10/9c. On the 12th episode this season titled “Sixteen and Skip the Sweet,” it’s a birthday blitz when Ramona plans a sweet-16 party for Avery, LuAnn meets with a party planner for her own daughter’s 16th birthday, and LuAnn throws a surprise birthday bash for Jill. Also, Jill gets her widely reported “liquid face lift” on tonight’s episode. A preview clip is below.
Watch What Happens Live – The guests are Jill Zarin and Adam Carolla.

Months after stating Bravo was likely done with new housewives franchises following the Miami disaster, it seems Andy Cohen is deciding to leave that door open.
In a new interview with Variety, the Bravo executive VP of original programming and development reveals he’s happy with the current franchises on the air but is always open to adding a new series if all things are right.
“We’re at a really good place right now,” says Andy. “Each city will be on for three or four months, and then they go away for close to a year. That’s a nice thing. It allows the women to regroup. It also allows the viewers to miss them.”
Andy adds that if the cast is right, a new additional franchise is possible while also revealing a shocker! According to Andy, Bravo actually tried to get a Texas franchise, which might or might not be my dream franchise, going but failed to find the right cast.
“You only want cities with strong points of view, cities that have strong regional personalities,” explains Andy. “We’ve tried to mount a Texas (incarnation), but we never hit the nail on the head with casting.”
Sighs. Here’s to hoping the socialites, famewhores, and housewives of Dallas will step up to the plate and allow their lives to be featured on Bravo! I stand strong in my belief that a Texas franchise would be G.E.N.I.U.S.
In other Andy news, a new report came out today stating he is one of the three finalists being considered by ABC to replace Regis Philbin on “Live with Regis and Kelly.” The other two finalists are said to be Ryan Seacrest and Mark Consuelos.
