Real Housewives of Atlanta’sKandi Burruss is hopping mad at co-starPhaedra Parks and did not mince words when she responded via Instagram and Twitter to some incendiary comments made by the attorney against her husband Todd Tucker. The Tuckers, who maintained a close relationship with Phaedra and her now incarcerated husband Apollo Nida have gravitated away from their once tight bond and all over a dispute surrounding the almighty dollar.
Apparently Todd, who is a television production manager, felt he was owed the remaining balance of $8,000 for a pregnancy video he worked on for Phaedra before Apollo’s imprisonment. Todd claims Phaedra never paid him in full and Phaedra insisted that he not only never completed the project but felt she did not owe him any more monies. Well the pair finally got together on last night’s RHOA episode to iron out any misunderstandings. Well after discussing the project and budget, Todd agreed to complete his part and Phaedra agreed, she would in turn, hand over a check to him but implied as an aside, that this will happen whenever she got around to it.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star is planning to divorce Apollo while he is behind bars serving an 8 year sentence for fraud, even though she still has feelings for him. “I still love my husband, and I’ll always love him,” revealed Phaedra. “He’s the father of my children, and something great came from our union.”
Phaedra vows, “This has not tainted my view on love.”
TMZ is accepting collect calls from Federal Inmate Apollo Nida. Apollo answered questions about the status of his marriage (or rather, his divorce) from Phaedra Parks, staying in touch with his children, and relocating prisons. Apparently the new prison has better “ambiance”. Oh my…
Recently Apollo agreed with his Real Housewives Of Atlanta star wife that prison is no place for The Prince and Mr. President to visit. Now he’s changed his opinion.“For my own mental sanity, I tried to kind of recognize where she [Phaedra] was coming from, but I never agreed on the fact that I did not want to see my children.”
Nida didn’t mince words when he went on Instagram to let ‘er rip about his feelings towards Peter. “CRAZY WORLD RIGHT!! I GUESS IT’s TRUE THAT IN TIME ONE WILL SEE WHOM THEIR FAKE FRIENDS REALLY ARE!!” Peter apparently saw the rant and wasted no time in responding to the man, whom he still considered to be a friend stating, “Wow!! Fake friend, never that, my number hasn’t change. Still holding it down for everyone I love, including you my brother @apollonida03.”
Andy starts off by asking Phaedra about the stories that circulated recently, claiming that Apollo was being transferred to Ft. Dix, the prison Joe Giudice will be heading off to in February to serve his four year stint. She confirms that Apollo is already there.
When asked about Kenya‘s disgustingly hot Moore Hair Care launch party, Porsha says, “I thought it was a set up. By the time she got there I looked like a mop. I was about to melt.”
A caller wants to know where Porsha and Kenya stand today. “We’re actually okay,” says Porsha. “We’re okay. We kind of speak to each other. Not so many digs – still a little shade every now and then just to keep up honest, but she is okay. I wish her well.” I hope her snarky comments at Kenya’s launch party isn’t her idea of “not so many” digs.
Season 7 was supposed to be about moving on, moving forward, and finally leaving the past behind, but instead it often felt as if we were experiencing Deja-View. As in didn’t we already cover Kenya Moore vs. Phaedra Parks arguing over Whoregate and Apollo Nida?
Of course not everything was the same – speaking of Apollo – in the middle of the season he self-surrendered to federal prison in Lexington, KY to begin serving an 8-year fraud sentence.
There is no love lost between the once happily married couple, and sons Ayden (5) and Dylan (1) are likely going to be stuck in the middle as their parents navigate their contentious relationship…all while Apollo serves an eight year prison sentence for money laundering and check stealing.
