On last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills things got wild Moroccan style at Pandora’s insane, incredible, fantastic engagement party. Can Mohammed be my godfather? Kim debuted her new man who is also a Ken! And Taylor and Russell got a little threatastic with the tabloids. Oh, and Taylor started planning another Birthday Party for Kennedy!
Lisa is driving through her hood amidst the palm trees, Bentleys, designer logos, and mega-mansions casually calling all her friends to remind them that the party of the year will be happening on Tuesday so they better show up. They’re baaaack! Bravo announced today that the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 4 will premiere November 6!
And in the new trailer released by the network, the ATL ladies are more dramatic than ever! In the season trailer below, we see Kim Zolciakdealing with her pregnancy and the arrival of her first son, Phaedra Parks works on opening up a funeral home while her hubby Apollo and Cynthia Bailey’s hubby Peter get into it. And speaking of Cynthia, her family still hates her husband Peter!
Sheree Whitfield has issues with her ex-husband regarding child support,Kandi Burruss and Kim get into it, whileNene Leakes seems to get into it with almost everyone! Especially new housewife Marlo Hamptonwho is the fiance of Charles Grant, aka the Nene’s rumored former lovah!
In the clip, Nene is also seen dating while husband Greggis not shown. But as it’s been reported, this appears to be a storyline solely for the show as the two have been photographed during filming — away from Bravo cameras — looking happy and cozy. But we’ll let you be the judge. The housewives also manage to take a break from all the drama to visit South Africa!

Episode 12 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta brought us spa confrontations, Kim singing, and Nene snagging a huge/astronomical celebrity interview but the best part of Sunday night might have just beenPhaedra Parks and her husband Apollo Nida’s appearance on WWHL, during which Apollo claimed he was 4 years younger than Phaedra. In this recap, I set the record straight on that while touching on whether or not Big Poppa aka Lee Najjar is broke and in foreclosure. Will also briefly touch which Bravo housewives I strongly dislike. They are now 5 by the way. Would also like to know which housewives you all despise dislike the most. With that said, let’s get right to the recap!
The episode begins with Kandi Burruss(who’s album Kandi Koatedis in stores now – a nice album) rehearsing for her upcoming promo tour, which is a week away. The best part of this rehearsal is when Kim shows up to show Kandi what her performance will look like. Once again, Kim whines, complains before showing off her lazy performance routine to go along with the bad singing. Here’s a tip for Kandi – have her lip sync. Kandi is not too pleased with Kim’s laziness but doesn’t have time to dedicate to Kim as she also has to focus on her own performances. Kandi wants Kim “to pull it together.”

Phaedra Parks, arguably the most controversial housewife on theReal Housewives of Atlantathis season, is finally addressing some of the controversy surrounding her on the show.
In an interview with Black Voices, the 38-year-old Atlanta entertainment attorney discusses her snobby portrayal on the show, clears up her statement about her husband Apollo Nida committing a white collar crime, opens up about her new baby boy, and defends her “boughetto” baby shower. Excerpts from Phaedra’s interview below -
BV: What was your impression of the show and ladies before joining?
PP: I wasn’t a huge fan of the show. I didn’t watch the show faithfully and I was familiar with most of the people on the show just from being in Atlanta and frequenting some of the same shopping districts. So, I knew them all, but didn’t have a close relationship with any of them besides Kandi [Burruss] who I hung out with and we travel in a lot of the same circles
BV: Speaking of not always being portrayed in a positive light, how do you feel about your portrayal since the first few episodes of ‘Housewives’ have aired?
PP: I think because my background is different from some of the other ladies, you have to make a distinction and sometimes how they distinguish me is not really who I am. If you meet me , I’m probably the most humble down-to-earth person mentoring young girls and on the show you don’t see that part of my character. I think I’m portrayed as a snob and I’ve never been a snob, but at the end of the day people have to realize you’re only seeing 15 minutes of me on the screen and I’ve lived over 30 years. You can’t sum up a person’s character in a matter of 15 to 17 minutes one night a week.
BV: Nene Leakes said [Apollo] went to jail for stealing cars. Is that really a white collar crime?
PP: He didn’t go to jail for stealing cars. He went to jail for racketeering. It’s easy to say what he went to jail for when you aren’t educating yourself and reading the case. And, I don’t know if she’s qualified to make a statement about anything unless she is a legally educated [person] and can read the case and cite to the actual case.
BV: How is the baby and parenting going?
PP: I never knew I could be so happy but I’m crazy about him. He’s very, mild mannered and developing his personality. He’s very independent and so I’m assuming he’s taking after both of his parents. He is not a cry baby. He’s real quiet.
BV: What’s going on with the compromising with Apollo in terms of your parenting techniques?
PP: We are great parents and things changed once the baby was born and once the baby is here you see it’s a huge responsibility. You’ve got this person you’re responsible for he’s a blessing, but you know I’m going to be accountable for his upbringing so it’s very important for me to know I’m making a leader and this world is waiting for another Martin Luther King, Jr. or Obama and that’s what I’m trying to instill in my child.
BV: Didn’t one of the ladies describe the [baby shower] as ‘boughetto?’
PP: Ha! (laughs) That was Kandi. I think she thought the rhinestones on my eyes was ghetto but the event was very elegant event at The Tavern at Piedmont Park and I had about 175 guests. Lots of judges and lawyers and dignitaries and it was a nice event. I like to invite people from all walks of life so I had a Hodgepodge of people there.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON PHAEDRA’S INTERVIEW? DO YOU THINK SHE’S A SNOB?
On the 5th episode this season, Kim is a guest on Kandi’s web chat show during which she discusses cheating; NeNe makes a plastic surgery revelation to Cynthia; Sheree has a good time on a date while Phaedra decides to do a pregnant photo shoot. And the ladies decide to celebrate Mother’s Day with a meal, dishing on sex and NeNe’s marital dramas.
Also, a special episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen is slated to air tonight. The guests will include Patti Labelle and Kandi Burruss.
In other Atlanta news, Phaedra Parks did a new interview with Zap2It during which she discussed joining the show and once again defended her decision to marry her husband Apollo Nida. Excerpts below -
Phaedra On Joining The Show – “At the time, I really didn’t know, because it wasn’t always well-spoken of in Atlanta to be very honest with you,” said Phaedra. “I’ve done reality TV a few times, so I’m pretty familiar with it. At the end of the day I understand that what makes for good TV are sensational events and drama and cattiness and some of this other foolishness sometimes. And that’s just part of the madness of TV, and particularly reality TV.”
On Her Husband Apollo - “At the end of the day, you have to realize I married him,” Phaedra said. “He doesn’t have to sleep with anyone except for me. No one has to be bothered with him except for me. So, why is it anyone else’s concern?”

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE?
Tonight is the night! That is the night the Real Housewives of Atlantareturn for their long awaited 3rd season.
So what can we expect tonight? One word – DRAMA! Unlike the New Jersey Housewives’ second season, which we had to wait almost 9 episodes before the infamous country club scene, the Atlanta ladies bring the drama on the season premiere! Nene Leakes and Dwight Eubanks will almost come to blows tonight as Nene decides to confront Dwight on rumors he has been spreading about her husband Gregg. Rumors which include Gregg trying to borrow money from him.
Meanwhile, the other housewives read about Kim Zolciak’sarticle in Life&Style magazine, during which she comes out as a bisexual, and they all try to get the scoop on the real deal with Kim. Sheree Whitfield decides she now wants to act following the failuredemise of her She By Sheree fashion line. Kandi Burruss tries to get back into the dating scene following the tragic death of her fiance last year. One of the new housewives, Phaedra Parks will also be introduced in tonight’s episode.
In other Atlanta news, new housewifePhaedra Parks has found herself in the media headlines since the February announcement of her addition to the show. The reason? The Atlanta Entertainment Attorney just happens to be married to an ex-con named Apollo Nida.
Apollo, 31, was convicted in 2004 for racketeering. He was paroled last year in May 2009 after serving five out of his 18-year prison sentence. Phaedra and Apollo married late last year and the two recently welcomed a baby boy in July.
Phaedra, 38, defended Apollo and her decision to marry him in a recent statement. Part of that statement is below -
My husband was convicted of a white-collar crime. It was racketeering. He comes up for an appeal and we just hope that works out positively. But he wasn’t guilty of harming any person or anybody and unfortunately that’s what happened. I married my husband because I loved him and he loved me and I think that’s the foundation of any good relationship. I didn’t marry him because of his past or because of his future. I married him because I respected him and I realized⎯everyone should realize that people make mistakes.
I know who I am and I have a very good sense of my husband and what our relationship is built on. So at the end of the day I have to go home to him and so whomever you marry has to be your personal choice. And that has to be a choice that you’re willing to live with. I married him because I love him, not because somebody else loves him and has to live with him and deal with him every day⎯it’s because I do so if you can live with your decision then that’s all that matters.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S SEASON PREMIERE? PLUS PHAEDRA’S DECISION TO MARRY AN EX-CON?
They’re baaaaack! The divas of the Real Housewives of Atlanta are set to mark their return to Bravo on October 4 at 9 p.m. ET.
Missing from the season 3 cast photo is original cast member Lisa Wu Hartwell, who will be getting firedphased out this season. The new faces in the cast photo are those of model Cynthia Baileywho recently tied the knot, and celebrity attorney Phaedra Parks, who recently had a baby and is married to Apollo Nida, who happens to be an ex-con.
As for what to expect this season, a Bravo press release gives us a brief synopsis of this season’s story lines. Viewers will get to see Nene Leakes endure a rocky marriage as husband Gregg is no longer working. Nene will be pursuing her independence while getting a job working as an entertainment local reporter.
Kim Zolicak will continue to work on her music “career” with castmate Kandi. With the failure of her clothing line, Sheree Whitfield will attempt an acting career while dating a doctor. And Kandi Burruss, who lost her fiance last year, will start dating again while working on her new album.

She lands a position as an entertainment reporter for the local news channel, seeking to transform herself into a career woman, while still keeping an eye on her sons.
TELL US – ARE YOU EXCITED FOR THE 3RD SEASON OF THE ATLANTA HOUSEWIVES?
The third season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta only began filming weeks ago and the drama is already raging on.
RadarOnline is reporting that former enemies Nene Leakesand Kim Zolciakcame together last Friday and decided to confront honorary 6th housewife Dwight Eubanks, leading to a very nasty war of words and chair throwing between the parties.
“Dwight was at the hotel for what he thought was going to be a casual meeting,” a source tells Radar. “But instead the producers had their own plans as they brought in Kim and NeNe to confront Eubanks about several issues, only for Dwight to call them out. NeNe and Kim came storming into the hotel and got straight in Dwight’s face, accusing him of spreading lies about them and making up rumors.”
The source continues, “It was absolutely crazy! NeNe and Kim were both screaming at him, and he gave back as good as he got. Dwight started yelling at NeNe that she was nothing but a common prostitute and that she had hooked up with a married man, and he totally trash talked Kim too.”
The rumor now is that Nene’s husband Gregg Leakes was still married when she met him, while dancing at a strip club. “NeNe lost her temper and attacked Dwight with a chair, breaking off a leg and Kim threw a vase at him! It was like a scene out of some crazy movie!,” continued the source.
Access Atlanta was able to get ahold of Dwight, who confirmed the events did indeed take place. “It was real… she bruised me up a little bit,” said Dwight. When asked if there was any permanent damage, he said, “I’ll survive. We’re fine.”
In other Atlanta news, all of the housewives including the two newest housewives, Cynthia Bailey and a very pregnant Phaedra Parks were all in attendance at a listening party for Kandi Burruss, who is currently working on her new album. Photos of that below -
