Last night on Real Housewives Of Atlanta a little redemption was served piping hot and brewed strong. Apollo Nida came clean about lies he told about Kenya Moore trying to get with him. The most shocking thing is that everyone was shocked Apollo would lie in the first place; liars lie, and so do criminals.
Lord – these are trying times when I have to type the word “fellatio” over and over again, but so be it. Thank you Bravo.
Apollo decided he could take no more of living in deceit – his soul needed purging, the man must be redeemed. Apparently two steps outside a prison cell he had an epiphany – and he ain’t gonna do bad no more! OK, well not quite, but Apollo finally copped up to lying about Kenya.
Andy starts off asking a fan question – wanting to know why Kenya filed charges against Porsha Williams after the reunion brawl. Kenya claims that she didn’t actually file charges, but since she called 911 and got the police involved… Kenya shared, “Honestly Kandi and I will never agree on that. I draw the line at violence. We are there to be gaslights to each other at the reunions. We irritate, we provoke, we annoy, but we don’t resort to violence and I think that’s where I draw the line.”
Tonight is the second episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘s 7th season. Apollo Nida is doing everything he can to earn that paycheck before he leaves for prison, so he is once again confronting Kenya Moore about what went on between the two of them! The premiere already broke ratings records, so let’s hope all the drama lives up to its hype.
Tonight we’re are supposed to finally get some resolve on the situation, in what Kenya promises will be a season of redemption as lies told about her are exposed as thus. Apollo crashes a party Cynthia Bailey throws to celebrate her fibroid-free sexiness. A party that also left several RHOA ladies off the guest list!
If the thought of Porsha “No Peach For You!” Williams not blogging her way through season seven of the Real Housewives of Atlanta gives you a serious case of the sads, then you’ll be happy to know that Porsha Williams has found a new home for her blogs.
On the other hand, if the thought of Porsha writing about anything makes you cringe, then my apologies.
Porsha has teamed up with OK! Magazine to give her fans a weekly dose of Porsha’s Piece of Mind. This week, she bashed Kenya Moore, gushed over her new boobs, shared her thoughts on Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida, and preached about accountability.
Anyway, Kenya is all about redemption this season and that means moving forward with all the people who have done her wrong – Phaedra included! After last season’s traumatic reunion, Kenya said it really took a lot for her return to the show. And by a lot, I imagine one phone call from Bravo.
“I had to really weigh the options; is this worth it? I went through a terrible time after the reunion, and I had to just reevaluate the situation,” Kenya says. “I asked myself a lot of questions. I had a lot of questions and conversations with the production company, with Bravo, and we got to a really good place; and that’s why I’m back.”
“Phaedra is always assuming I’m siding with Apollo, which isn’t true,” insisted Kandi. “Todd and Apollo became pretty good friends, so I would say he takes Apollo’s side a lot. Todd and I have serious debates over their issues. I get to the point where I am like, ‘Listen Todd, we should not be arguing about their problems.’ It’s crazy really.” Phaedra said NeNe has been the most supportive.
“Words cannot express the turmoil this situation has caused our family, and I can’t even begin to articulate how hard it has been,” said Phaedra. “When you face a situation like this, you can choose to either break down or stay strong; I chose to stay strong because I have two young children that need a parent to give them stability and keep the ship sailing.”
Last night’s premiere episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta was alllll about Apollo Nida. And let’s just get one thing out of the way first: Apollo looks fiiiiiine with that full beard! (I know – there is something wrong with me. I admit that).
It’s sentencing day for Apollo but Phaedra Parks is nowhere to be found. She strapped on her beehive and fled to Augustus, GA with their sons, Ayden and Dylan. Phaedra tells her mother she doesn’t want her sons exposed to the situation and there are paparazzi outside their house. In reality Phaedra is pissed – whole ‘nother level pissed – and rightfully so!
Over at Phaedra’s house, the remodel is looking fabulous, and the paparazzi are… invisible! Only Apollo, that beard, making some eggs when his brother shows up. His brother?! Wha… never would have expected a goofy white kid to be the brother of Apollo. Apollo admits that what he did was wrong, but not that wrong – I mean it can be fixed! Apparently he has been sipping from the Teresa Giudice denial juice, comes in two sparkling flavors: Whaddyagonnado? and At The End Of The Day…
