Audrina Patridge Talks The Hills, New Reality Show

Audrina Patridge graces the October cover of Maxim magazine, and she dishes about leaving The Hills, plus her new reality show.

When asked about Lauren Conrad, who left the show last season, Audrina says — “I barely talk to Lauren. We’ll text every now and then, but that’s about it.”

As for newlywed Heidi Montag? “Heidi, um, keeps asking me to go to Bible study with her,” she says.

Below are more excerpts from her interview -

Is this really going to be your last season on The Hills? Why?
You know, it’s just something that I felt inside. I’m an adult now, and I don’t need all the petty drama and drinking and fighting. I’ve done that, and I’m ready to move on.

Can you spill anything about The Audrina Show?
The producer is Mark Burnett, who executive-produced Survivor. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at my life in L.A.—the movies and shoots and parties. It’s not as glamorous as it appears, plus it’ll actually feature people I know. It’s, like, real.

The Hills: Preview The New Season Six Trailer!

The trailer for the 6th season of The Hills is here! Judging from the trailer, it seems the new bitch star of the show is none other than Laguna Beach alum, Kristin Cavallari.

In what is likely to be Audrina’s final season, we get to see Kristin stir up some drama when she begins dating Audrina’s ex, Justin Bobby.

Other storylines to come this season will include newlyweds, Spencer and Heidi Pratt, contemplating whether or not to have a baby. Yes the thought of those two breeding is pretty scary to us as well.

To sum it up, the Hills’ stars get to put their acting skills to the test in this upcoming season. It’s pretty obvious the show is very fake by now, and you can’t really blame some of the stars for faking it, as it was reported that Kristin earns an incredible $63,000 per episode.

The show returns to MTV on Sept. 29.

Audrina Patridge: I’m Leaving The Hills

Audrina Patridge has decided to follow in the footsteps of former castmate, Lauren Conrad, as she has also decided to leave her hit show, The Hills.

“I’m almost done with The Hills. We’re in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving then,” Audrina revealed at a junket for her new thriller Sorority Row Sunday in LA.

“It feels like I’m graduating,” she added. “I’m taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life.”

This might also have to do with the fact that Audrina,24, is currently developing her own reality show with Survivor producer Mark Burnett.

Audrina also plans to continue pursuing her acting career, and credits The Hills for helping her, “I feel like it’s helped me a lot going to auditions and sitting in front of the camera… blocking the camera out and just getting into character.”

The new season of The Hills is set to premiere Sept. 29 on MTV.

The Hills Season 6 Set To Premiere In September

MTV has announced today that the 6th season of The Hills will premier Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 10 p.m. EST.

The 5th season will bring some major changes, as it will be the first season without Lauren Conrad. It will also include newest cast member and former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari.

Joining Kristin will be the series’ regulars — including Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge. Kristin, who has previously admitted she was brought on the show for dramatic purposes, has promised to bring back the drama by, “Drinking, fighting, hooking up — all that good stuff!” she joked.

The Audrina Show Coming Soon To MTV

Audrina Patridge is one step closer to having her reality show air on MTV. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Hills star’s new series is currently in development at MTV.

The new reality show is titled The Audrina Show and is being produced by Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice). The Audrina Show will focus on her personal and professional life. Umm what professional life?

Audrina’s final episodes of The Hills will begin airing in the fall and will also feature former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari.

Hills’ Stephanie Pratt – “The Hills Made Me Bulimic”

The Hills star, Stephanie Pratt, talks to Us Weekly magazine this week about hating her body and her terrifying secret struggle with bulimia.

Stephanie opens up about her eating disorder for the first time, saying it was sparked by the pressure of appearing alongside her super-thin friends on the hit MTV reality show. I’m guessing the “super thin” friends would have to include Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Pratt, and pretty much every female that ever appeared on The Hills.

Stephanie, who is described as being 5-foot-7 also reveals to US that she began bingeing and purging after watching a scene she shot with Lauren Conrad in 2007 after first joining the cast: “I was horrified. I remember saying, ‘I can’t believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.’”

The cover story also teases about how Stephanie once attempted suicide. Hmm, will be reserving my personal comments on this one.

Hills’ Audrina Patridge on Kristin Cavallari: “I Don’t Like Her”

Could their be a new feud brewing on the upcoming season of The Hills? Well if you ask Audrina Patridge, that answer would be yes. Audrina appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show recently, and when asked about her feelings towards Kristin Cavallari, she simply said, “I don’t like her.”

Audrina then confirmed the two had a fight the first day of filming bonus episodes of the MTV show. The rumor is that Kristin has been pursuing Patridge’s ex, Justin Bobby.

While Audrina would not reveal the details on what caused their drama, she did say, “When someone gets in my face, I have to defend myself. And, you guys, I mean, I can’t say much. They’ll show it, but I mean, all I have to say is, it’s really pathetic and desperate what people will do when the cameras are around.”

Audrina continues, “It was my birthday, and I was like, Oh, my God. Is this what we’re going to have to deal with?’”

I’m not sure why Audrina is so upset at Kristin, I mean Kristin is just doing what the Hills script called for right. Perhaps someone should send Audrina a memo letting her know the Hills stopped being “real” a few seasons ago.

The Hills To Return Next Season Without Lauren Conrad

MTV is making certain their top rated “reality” show will be returning for another season, even without the star of the show aka Lauren Conrad.

The folks at MTV released the following statement – “Spencer and Heidi will be newlyweds, so the stakes are higher than ever before for the two to make things work,” adds MTV. “Viewers will find out life in Los Angeles only gets more complicated as friendships, relationships and loyalties are tested like never before.”

Returning next season will be Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, Spencer Pratt, Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Lo Bosworth, Justin Bobby and “fresh faces,” will be back, the network teases in a statement. It is rumored that one of the fresh new faces will be Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavalleri will be one of the “new faces” next season.
