Real Housewives of New York Reunion Recap: War With A Side Of Tea And Toast

Last night was the second part of the Real Housewives of New York reunion. While we weren't treated to family feuds of epic proportions (thank the good lord) we were treated to pirate scandals, bootylicious lovin, toaster ovens, and daddy drama. Oh and a few alcoholic accusations. All in all it was a good show and the ladies played their parts well.

First off LuAnn de Lesseps is in the hotseat over her affairs of the piratekind. Toe-mah or Thomas depending on when the put-on airs slip, was merely a ride home and a late-night cocktail partner. Here's her story: LuAnn alleges that she did stay late at the club partying with her "Italian friends" but then Tomas offered her a ride home under the pretenses of seeing the villa. Was he drinking? I'm confused that she would go home with someone who had been drinking.

She DID go into Heather Thomson's room around 3am and wake her up, inviting her to have a drink with she and Tomas. Heather was like bitch I need my beauty rest. LuAnn insists nothing happened, it all looked bad, and she lied to spare the wrath and prying accusations of Pinot Singer. THAT is about the only part of the story I fully believe.

Sonja Morgan Says Aviva Drescher Has “Deep Anger Issues”!

Tonight is the second half of the Real Housewives of New York reunion. It's also the end of the fifth season. And it wouldn't be Housewives without drama that far outlasts a season! Sonja Morgan and Aviva Drescher have been having issues since the controversial St. Barths smack-down.

Still not on good terms, Sonja speaks to The Examiner and admits she feels bad for Aviva – given all her issues. Oh dear…

"She definitely has deep anger issues. When I’m not around her, I feel bad for her but when you’re with her and she’s saying this stuff to you, it’s so hurtful."

"As time goes by, my initial personal feeling is easing and I now feel more pain for Aviva. She definitely has some very deep seated anger that she projects on other people. It’s more than anger it’s fear. I feel she’s fearful & very hard on herself, she’s hard on others. I wish she could figure out a way to love herself more & understand that people need her to love her & not be so paranoid. I think one of the reasons I trust people so much is that I love myself, so I love others, maybe a little too much. So it’s very painful when it backfires."

PHOTOS: Mob Wives And Housewives Gather For 2(x)ist Spring 2013 Fashion Show

The title is a bit exaggerated. It was more like one Housewife and one Mob Wife, but you get the gist. Real Housewives of New York star Aviva Drescher (accompanied by hubby Reid) and Mob Wives star Carla Facciolo checked out the 2(xist) Spring 2013 Fashion Show this week. The event was hosted by funny gal Jenny McCarthy in NYC.

Jenny dipped her toes into reality TV this past summer when she hosted "Love in the Wild". Okay, so it was more like just hosting a game show, which is how she started out back in her MTV days, but still. I think Jenny would be fun on a "full-on" reality series.

Real Housewives of New York Recap: Pinot Doesn’t Forgive OR Forget!

Last night was the first segment of the Real Housewives of New York reunion. There was a definite divide between the demeanor of the veterans and the demeanor of the newbies last night. And by that, I mean the oldies came prepared to fight, get vicious, down and dirty while the newbies obviously didn't do their research and came prepared to recap the season and discuss.

Reunions are both my favorite shows to watch and my least favorite to recap. My favorite to watch because we get an unfiltered glimpse of the ladies, but they're a real beast to recap because the accusations are flying and the screaming is coming at you from all sides. Meanwhile I'm just trying to assess what everyone is wearing and who looks the worst. In the case of RHONY that award always, without fail, goes to Pinot Singer and last night was no exception.

I'm pretty sure the Project Runway "Unconventional Materials" challenge dress Pinot wore was constructed from old plastic bags on the top and my grandmother's living room sheers on the bottom. All dyed Crayola royal blue. Madame, you are in need of an intervention. Please refrain from drinking and dressing for the duration.

So, let's get this thing going, shall we?

Did Ramona Singer Want Aviva Drescher Banned From The GLAAD Awards? Is RHONY Headed For Another Cast Shake Up?

Real Housewives of New York is ending just when the drama is getting started. Pinot Singer and Meviva Drescher have been at each other's throats for months now and apparently things are getting so unruly they're taking it to the NY social scene!

Both ladies attended the recent GLAAD Awards in NYC and rumor has it that Ramona tried to get Aviva banned. “Ramona tried to have [Aviva] banned from the event,” an insider told Gategrasher. “GLAAD doesn’t get involved in ‘Housewives’ drama and told Ramona that Aviva was welcome to attend.”

Apparently Ramona's outburst led the GLAAD organizers to have concern some concern so they sent Aviva an email to make sure she knew what was going on.

Aviva demonstrated that she could be the bigger person (must be that Vassar education!), replying: “This event is to support the LGBT community and has nothing to do with personal relationships. Ramona and I are on a television show and I’m sure she realizes that as well.”

RHONY’s Ramona Singer Blasts Aviva Drescher In New Interview; Aviva Responds

The ladies of Real Housewives of New York have had their share of arguments, though thankfully, they aren't quite as epic and evil and the ones had by their New Jersey counterparts.

Ramona Singer and Aviva Drescher have had their spats this season and Ramona shared with Radar Online (note: not a paid magazine cover/article!) that she feels her co-star has some …issues.

Ramona tells Radar that she has evolved this season, while Aviva is filled with anger. “I was looking back at that episode, and it shows you how I have evolved as a person, the Ramona of five years ago would have handled the situation much differently. I realize that she has a lot of anger in her, I don’t think she’s a happy woman and she misplaces it on me. She basically bullied me with all her comments. That I cheated on my husband, that I’m not a great mother, basically it’s just her own unhappiness and anger was just spewing out. Whatever I do in my life it’s my business I’m an adult she’s not my mother."
