Bad Girls Club Recap

When we were last at the Home For Wayward Girls aka the Bad Girls Club, the Spongebob Twins, Gabi and Dani were hiding out in some garage talking to a show producer. He ended up taking them to a hotel for the night. We open up last night’s episode with the girls returning from their night away.

At this point, the talking heads are all so repetitive: the twins hate everyone and the rest of the girls hate them. While talking to the twins, Elease forgets she is on a low-budget trashy reality show and tries to tell the twins that the others wouldn’t hate them if they weren’t so awful. Gabi tells her that this is the bad girls club and that she will call everyone else out as “fake” if she wants to. Elease immediately calls her sister Shneal, who encourages Elease to jump them, and the two begin laughing hysterically as they yell out suggestions like using pepper spray. I didn’t realize Bad Girls Club was code for Girls Who Like To Assault People.

Last night’s episode of Bad Girls Club may have ruined Mexico-U.S. relations forever. Someone get Ms. Hillary Clinton on the phone because we may need her to mediate. It wasn’t enough that the people of Havasu, Arizona had to endure the “bad girls,” but why involve Mexico? Have they not been through enough?

Before the girls got to go on vacation, the first half of the episode focuses on another barrage of petty fights about nothing. We open with the twins at the makeup table complaining that someone took their makeup. They even claim to have done “inventory” like either of them know what that word means. Dani (or Gabi? who can tell) stomps off into Erica‘s room and recovers the missing Mac eyeshadow – since apparently she had purchased the only one available in the world.

It’s time for the most intellectually stimulating show on television, Bad Girls Club! First, I want to say that the editing on this show is so annoying, all kinds of things are shown out-of-order. Do the editors think I can’t notice, especially when they are either in pajamas or in full makeup and club gear?

We open last night with Erica trying to leave the house alone to go to the mall. She’s over the twins and throws a fit when they try to crash her solo shopping trip. And who can blame her, if those two were driving me to the emergency room, I would wait for an ambulance to take me instead, that’s how horrible and whiny they are.

On this week’s episode of Sociopaths In Sweats, aka Bad Girls Club, the ladies head to Lake Havasu for a much needed vacation from their schedule of napping, tanning, and paranoid plotting. But first, Gia‘s DJ friend, Matt decides to come by for another visit. This time, he brings some friends for the rest of the girls in the house. And by some friends, I mean, he brings what appears to be 10 random dudes.

None of the ladies are very impressed, especially Erica, who rightfully decries their lack of a hostess gift. Instead, she and Amy have to go out into the wild to procure alcohol and pizza for the group. Erica interviews that none of them are her type: she prefers muscle, a clean-cut look, and–this is a direct quote–”must have money from somewhere.” At least we know she’s not judgemental.

In a moment of foreshadowing, Erica and the twins become inexplicably upset when Elease decides to become friendly with Matt’s friends, and even tells them about how she was jumped the first night in the house. The smile Elease has plastered on her face when she tells this charming tale is weird, but it’s probably a result of alcohol. Amy doesn’t like them either, and talking heads that, that’s “saying something.”

When our fearless editor RT let me know my new assignment was Bad Girls Club, I was scared. Previously, I considered this hangover television, and no matter what you may have heard, hangovers on a Monday night just aren’t my style anymore. So, I invite you to take this journey with me. Hope you bought your acrylic nails and your weave, because we’re about to be hazed into the Bad Girls Club!

Last week, new girl Elease, a name that sounds like a social network for landlords showed up, and to welcome her, the other girls threw her mattress into the pool. Erica and Gia decide that having Elease sleep in the “VIP room” on a hard bed was too cruel, so they ran out and got her a new one. This pisses off the Spongebob twins, Gabi and Dani, and while the other girls were at a group trip to the tattoo parlor, they drag her new mattress out and cover it in food, writing out a special message, “Welcome To The BGC.”

Tonight was the second part of the Bad Girls Club Season 6 Reunion, and it can almost be summed up like this: The girls hate Char, Nikki seems to be back in good graces, brawl with Char, bleeping out every other word, host Perez Hilton dressed in a gold toy soldier (or 1920′s newsboy?) outfit, bleeping, extension yanks, bleeping, more Char hate…and let’s top the whole thing off with a cake fight. Recap. Done.

Seriously, though. Char’s antics on the show alienated the girls who considered themselves her friends and were shocked to see what she said about them in her interviews. Jessica, my personal favorite, seemed especially hurt because she and Char did appear to have a genuine friendship throughout the season. Jennifer (the Jersey native who only lasted a few episodes and annoyingly talks out of one side of her mouth) had the most to say to Char, stopping only when audience member–and Char’s cousin–told her she was “gonna get dog walked.” Do you think that phrase is copyrighted, or can I introduce that into my every day conversation? Because I really want to start saying it.

I found it odd that the ladies hated Char but were willing to forgive the always instigating Nikki. However (and I guess it makes sense from a Bad Girls standpoint), all the girls felt that at least Nikki stayed true to herself and wasn’t fake and backstabbing like Char. Nikki was annoying when she moved into the house, and she was just as annoying when the season ended. Strangely enough, minus a few scuffles with Char, the girls were very nice to one another, even those who had been mortal enemies in the house. While this made it easier to follow along with the reunion (less security involvement = more actual conversation), it was pretty lame. Personally, I like when people get along, I can understand what they’re saying, and I never find out who is (or isn’t) actually sporting undergarments, but for a Bad Girls Club reunion, it’s the tamest yet.

Of course, even when they are talking (and not fighting), it’s hard to understand the girls, as their constant screaming during the first half of the reunion has rendered them all incredibly hoarse. However, without words, it’s clear that Wilmarie’s dress is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen and former past season Bad Girl Tanisha is the only lady from the whole franchise with a legitimate job…even if that job is hosting Love Games 2 featuring has-been Bad Girls (I’m talking to you, Natalie Nunn).

Hillbilly Lauren and Jessica have let bygones be bygones, and it’s clear–even as castoff/deserters Sydney, Ashley, Jennifer and Jade return to dish–that all’s well that end’s well…except when it comes to Char. Funny, I do believe that Char got in the least amount of physical fights, which just means all the other girls were fighting EACH. OTHER. Whatevs, all is fine and Char is the bad guy…until Perez has BGC alums Amber and Kristen (love her!) bring in a birthday cake for Jessica’s big day. He starts a cake fight and it’s all fun and games until Kori gets cake in Jade’s hair. It’s hard to tell if they are joking or killing each other (hint, it was the latter), but Jade’s family comes at Kori. Once separated, Jade trashes a dressing room (which let’s be honest, it’s a BGC club dressing room, so all she really did was knock over a folding chair) and gives the viewers what they have come to expect from these reunions…less love (seriously, they all get along now except for Char??) and more “dresses hiked up, faux hair pulling, every word bleeped out” kind of entertainment.

Keep your shirts pulled down and your beads around your neck…Season 7 is leaving Los Angeles and heading to the Big Easy, New Orleans! It is set to debut July 11 on Oxygen.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE REUNION AND THIS SEASON OF THE BAD GIRLS CLUB? WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE & LEAST FAVORITE BAD GIRL THIS SEASON?

Just like that, the sixth season of the Bad Girls Club has come to an end.

Tonight, all the Bad Girls from this season reunite for an Oxygen photo shoot before the remaining roommates say goodbye. There’s much more snapping than clicking, however, as Nikki pushes Wilmarie to her breaking point. The new episode airs at 9/8c on Oxygen. A preview clip is below.

Meanwhile, this season has brought us crazy fights, crazy pranks , crazy bad girls and even crazier replacements. At this point, this show is similar to the animal planet as it’s pretty much the survival of the fittest. I can only imagine this is what a women’s prison feels like. Jade going home on the first episode was pretty weak in my opinion as she talked a big game but couldn’t back it up. Sydney also leaving early seemed like a cop out. While it’s understandable the girls don’t want to be in the nut house, this is what they signed up for and they should stick it out.

Least Favorite – This is a tough one as there are so many to choose from. Char was pretty awful as so were her minions, and I still don’t understand how being a 27-year-old in the BGC house is a good thing. Definitely nothing to brag about… at all. Nikki was extremely annoying early on, then grew on me and most fans, only to revert back to her old ways towards the end of the season. It was funny when she was picking on the uber annoying Jennifer and Char, who both deserved it, but picking on Wilma and Lauren was uncalled for. And speaking of Jennifer, I think she definitely wins the award for my least favorite. She was just awful. She might just be the worst bad girl ever in the show history. And the audacity of her to try to poke fun at Wilma by calling her a replacement. Hello! So are you! She was all talk and fluff, and added nothing to the show but her extreme annoyance. In fact, I think Jennifer might be one of the worst reality stars in the history of mankind.

Favorite - This is a toss up between Lauren and Wilma. Lauren gets points for standing up to Nikki towards the end of the season, thus proving she is no one’s minion. Plus Lauren also stood up to Char early on this season when Char tried to make her a minion. Lauren definitely proved she’s her own person. Wilma is simply awesome for standing her ground, sending Jen packing and most importantly, pummeling Nikki, not once, not twice, but three times and getting the best of her each time. Does Nikki even know how to throw a punch? That linebacker appearance and walk is extremely deceiving. Similar to Lauren, Wilma gets major kudos for being her own person and standing up to Nikki at every chance. I think I will have to go with Wilma for my favorite this season.

The Latest – Following filming, Lauren and Nikki became BFFs once again but Lauren has since ended the friendship since the latest episodes started airing. According to Lauren, she did not know Nikki was doing a lot of smack talking about her behind her back. Unfortunately, the reunion show was filmed weeks ago before the cast could view all the episodes (really Oxygen?) so expect to see Lauren and Nikki being BFFs when that airs starting next week. As for Char, pretty much everyone hates her with the exception of Nikki. And come to think of it, pretty much everyone hates Nikki with the exception of Char. Guess they kind of deserve each other. Jessica and Kori are no longer Team Char and are not happy at being called her minions. Well if the title fits. Lauren and Wilma are still pals and according to the rumor mill, Sydney beat up fought Char during the reunion show. According to unconfirmed reports, the new season is currently being filmed in New Orleans. Should be interesting. And what happened to the no hitting rule? Nikki has thrown the first “punch” in all altercations with Wilma and continues to remain in the house.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THIS SEASON & TONIGHT’S FINALE? WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE BAD GIRL THIS SEASON?

It was the fight seen around the country world as things got physical between Bad Girls Club stars Ashley King and Kori Koether on the last episode of the show.

The drama began when the girls got home from a late club outing and the brewing feud over Char between them reached a boiling point. Ashley threw the first punch but Kori, shocking many fans of the show, seemed to finish the fight. There is a pretty general consensus that Kori won this fight and in fact, “Damn Ashley” was a trending topic on twitter Monday night as many couldn’t believe Ashley came out with a black eye.

Well, following the fight, below is what Ashley had to say in her Oxygen blog -

“The fight with Kori and I was a fight that I should’ve fought with Char but OF COURSE, Kori tries to fight all of Char’s battles because as we all know Char has no hands. It started at the club we were at. Kori got into a fight with the guy Char was trying to get and his girlfriend. Then the gf flipped me off so I spazzed out. Char tried to call us out saying we are embarrassing blasah blasah blah. So I went in on Char and out of the corner of my eye I seen Kori siding with her and that’s when I went in on Kori. I’m trying to have both of our backs while she’s stabbing me in mine. So at that point Kori started it and I had to finish it once again.”

As for Kori, she took to her twitter page and stated, “Ya i fought ash cause i was just so sick of hearin about Char, right when we got home Ash kept talking about Char it was annoying!… yes ashley deff did instigate it. It was bull shit cause i didnt wanna keep hearing about char! Ashley said she was not chars follower yet she kept talking about char when our fight happened!”

Kori adds that she and Ashley are “cordial” today but that she and everyone else “hates Char.”

And a new episode of the show airs tonight on the Oxygen network at 9/8c. On the 8th episode this season titled “Weak Sauce,” trouble looms for Jennifer when nemeses Nikki and Lauren gain an unforeseen ally. Meanwhile, Jessica’s hard-partying brother arrives at the house and things get a little steamy between him and Kori.
