Wendy Williams always has a lot to say, but it's rarely that anyone has the balls to say something back to her! And then there is Evelyn Lozada!
Wendy made Evelyn's birth announcement of son Carl Leo (born on Saturday) one of her "Hot Topics" and basically called Evelyn out on being a gold digger.
“Evelyn gave birth to a cash register, I mean, a baby boy, with her fiancé, the $142 million Carl Crawford. I didn’t mean to make that cash register joke, but you see why it’s easy to be said. Evelyn girl, congratulations,“ Wendy announced during the segment.
Evelyn Lozada officially welcomed baby no 2 into the world this Saturday.
Evelyn and fiancé Carl Crawford welcomed their son named Carl Leo on March 22nd at 3:55 am via natural birth with only 4 pushes. Evelyn shared with Yahoo Insider that her new bundle of joy weighed 8 lbs and is 21 inches long. Evelyn's daughter Shaniece, along with Carl and Evelyn's extended family were present for the birth.
“I'm literally on cloud nine! My baby boy is so handsome and I'm so geeked! I have been waiting for this little man to arrive and seeing his beautiful face is breathtaking," Evelyn gushed to The Insider, "Thank God he came out quick."
I don't think a day goes by that I wonder if reality stars ever learn from their bad behavior. I realize they likely never will, but sometimes even I get surprised. Basketball Wives star Tami Roman may have just shocked me yet! The volatile bestie of Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O'Neal seems to have learned some lessons after watching herself on the small screen. Too bad her friends have yet to follow suit!
The veteran reality star compares her time on MTV's Real World to the producer created (I'm looking at you, Nostrils!) drama, and cites that one genre (at least back in her day) was a lot more authentic than the other…you know, back when reality television was actually supposed to be real.
In a new interview with Life & Style the Basketball Wives star (who is rumored to have left the show) opens up about finding new love and re-emerging from a nightmare. “I had the worst 2012, I thought my life was over,” Evelyn confesses. “It happened so publicly, and then the passing of my brother-in-law."
However she now realizes everything happens for a reason. “But that entire incident [with Chad] led me to where I’m at now.” Now seven and a half months pregnant, she says love saved her. “I would say my broken bridge led me to happiness,” Evelyn shares. “If I had to do it again, I would because I truly feel complete right now in my life and I wouldn’t change it for anything.”
Last night Real Housewives of the past and present sashayed and twirled down the red carpet at OK! Magazine's pre-grammy party in L.A.
Joanna Krupa stole the spotlight in this sheer and black gown that reminded of us the revealing dress that Paris Hilton wore the night before to Diddy's own pre-grammy party. (see below). Almost all of the ladies of Bravo (and a few VH1 stragglers) wore black, except for Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kenya Moore, who opted for a purple number. Last night was also Kenya's birthday and we'd be willing to bet her evening included a little birthday toast over the news of Apollo Nida's criminal charges.
Evelyn Lozada surprised everyone this year when she disappeared then reappeared six-months pregnant with MLB player Carl Crawford's child. The couple is now engaged.
The Basketball Wives star (who reportedly quit the show) is in her last trimester and reveals that she wants to eat sweets nonstop! "I'm not much for eating sugar, but being pregnant has turned me into a sort of junk food addict! For example, I crave Laffy Taffy," Evelyn tells Mamas Latinas. "Seriously, I can't stop eating this stuff!"
Prior to being pregnant Evelyn rarely indulged in junk food. "I'm a pescatarian and a very healthy eater, so this is super weird for me. Recently, I found myself eating Nerds and I haven't had those in years!"
Jennifer is still promoting her Lucid Cosmetics line, and she has formed a foundation with her manager and another NBA wife called Project Save the World. In a recent interview with Live Life In Style, Jennifer explains, "I felt that I was extremely blessed and I wanted to give back, but collectively we couldn't decide on one cause that we all wanted to support. There are just so many causes that need our time, effort, energy and money, so basically it's whatever is in our hearts at that moment that we want to support. Our motto is to 'Change the World, One Mission at a Time'."
Shaunie's new show, set to air on VH1, will focus on her life as a mother to her four kids, but there's a snafu: her ex is blocking her attempts to actually feature the kids citing the negative aspects of reality TV. Quick question: Aren't these particulars you should have ironed out before, you know, inking a deal to do a reality show about your kids? Just wondering…
Shaunie is trying to convince Shaq (and a judge) that the new venture is just good, wholesome family fun and will feature her doing things like working out with the kids.
Shaq disagrees. Pointing out Basketball Wives as an example, he feels there are too many producer-driven pressures to create drama because drama sells. And he believes the show will go the way of most reality shows and focus on controversy over positivity.
