Last night's episode had all of these attributes and more. Evelyn wants to placate her daughter's fears that her mother is reconciling with Chad. She reveals that she did text Chad that day for his birthday. She just wanted him to have a blessed day, but that's the extent of their chatting. Sure. Evelyn wants to know if her daughter was worried about her during the photo debacle. Her daughter basically calls her out and says she wasn't worried, and she reminds Evelyn that she totally put herself in that situation. Preach. Am I so much on auto-pilot with this crew that I missed the fact that Shaunie was producing a play about Basketball Wives? She thinks it will be a much needed positive spin for the brand. She's looking forward to seeing some scene run-throughs while she's in New York City.
Evelyn and Tasha go shopping and discuss Tasha's peace talk with Tami. Evelyn still isn't totally convinced that her friend has changed. She's knows Tami will always be one to cut a b!tch. For her part, Tami is meeting with a life coach in hopes of getting rid of her anger issues. She knows she won't turn into Mother Teresa overnight, but it's worth a try. Tami shares with her life coach Shaunie's "it could go really good or really bad" comment regarding Tami meeting Tasha a bazillion episodes ago. Really, VH1? This statement is now what constitutes an entire story line?
It's funny how one franchise can appeal to you so much more than another. I definitely prefer Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to its original counterpart (who doesn't?), and there are Housewives series I watch far more religiously than others. Oddly enough, I can't figure out which Basketball Wives franchise I prefer…is that saying something?
I do know that I enjoy Draya Michele's antics on BBWLA, and with her kooky cast mates, she usually comes off as the most stable. She certainly has a past, but I'd like to think she's grown up and learned from her mistakes. Who knows though? After all, she is starring in a drama-fueled, anger laden reality show…so the joke could be on me!
Guess who is the latest reality star to be crying foul over editing? Why it's Basketball Wives'Tami Roman! It seems she isn't a fan of Shaunie O'Neal's producers' repeated attempts to paint her in a negative light. On the flip side, with all her crying over Chad Johnson, Evelyn Lozada seems to be gaining slight sympathy among viewers (or is she?).
It's that time again where we breakdown who's watching what on Sunday and Monday nights. Viewer numbers were up slightly this week, which we can probably credit to it not being a holiday weekend. And Keeping Up With The Kardashians being on a mid-season hiatus, sending fans scrambling for something else to tune into on Sunday nights! Don't worry – the K fam will kontinue to kause drama even without a reality show!
On Sundays, Real Housewives of New Jersey continued to disappoint Bravo by failing to rake in the viewers. Once considered the most popular of the Housewives franchises (next to Atlanta), the show is a big, ol' sinking ship this season as everyone is simply tired of the regurgitated storyline. Did I mention this is the THIRD season in a row we've been dealing with the same scenarios?

Last night's Basketball Wives marked the fourth straight episode of Evelyn Lozada crying over Chad Johnson, andTami Roman trying her darndest to start something with Shaunie O'Neal despite her positive life changes. It was also the fourth straight episode of Tasha Marbury staying above the drama and Suzie Ketcham talking out of both sides of her mouth (only this time, she's not gossiping, she's just finally healing from her jaw surgery!).
We started back in Evelyn's counseling session. Her therapist encourages her to figure out what she would do if there were no kids, media, or feminist groups involved. Again, I'm sorry…why are all of these people trying to get her back together with a head-butter? We all know that the head-butting incident wasn't isolated. I'm not saying that he was violent towards her multiple times, but their relationship was broken by both of them long before they walked down the aisle. The therapist wants to know what are the wonderful things about Chad that the public doesn't know. Is that you, Mrs. .Ochocinco Johnson? Seriously? With a glass of wine and dose of common sense, I'm more of a therapist than this lady.
Pop quiz hot shot: You are rumored to have been fired from a bottle-throwing, hair-pulling, drama-filled reality show and you want to gloat about its now declining ratings. What do you do? Well, if you were ever a fixture on VH1's Basketball Wives, you take to Twitter. Duh!
Former BBW stars Jennifer Williams and Royce Reed didn't gel with the show's mean girls, and they aren't a part of this new "healing" season. The ratings haven't been up to par, and many attribute the lack of viewership to fans not condoning the ladies' past behavior. Guess what? That's just fine for Jenn and Royce!
Sunday and Monday night viewer ratings are in! And unsurprisingly the holiday weekend put a little damper on reality TV guilty pleasures – especially if you happened to be doing a little equine therapy on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
The former ratings powerhouse for Bravo again took a hit with only 1.8 million viewers bothering to tune in – that's down majorly from last week! Listen – we have enough of our own family problems to continually focus on the Gorgadices! Keeping Up With The Kardashians continued to hold strong, although it took a slight hit dropping to 2.3 million viewers this week.
When we last left the ladies ofBasketball Wives, Tami Roman had enlisted Suzie Ketcham to do her bidding in breaking down new girl Tasha Marbury while she sipped on her lukewarm Bud Lite and hoped for crazy drama As last night's episode began,Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O'Neal avert their eyes as Suzie questions Tasha about her husband's rumored affair. Instead of getting defensive or starting to scream and throw things, Tasha calmly says that yes, it did happen, and she's not going to lie about it. She stays classy and keeps her cool. Remind me again why she's on this show?
Tami then has the nerve to tell Tasha that she can't believe how rude Suzie was to ask the question. Tasha knows that it comes with the lifestyle, and Tami is shocked to learn that Tasha and Stephon did pay off the mistress. Evelyn is just happy that her friend was able to keep the energy from going to that negative place the ladies are so used to going.
The following day, Evelyn and Suzie are cruising the Hudson and discussing the dinner's events. Suzie admits that she felt badly for rehashing Tasha's marital issues, and she wants to clear the air with the new girl in hopes of forging a new friendship. In Central Park, Tami and Shaunie are also discussing the evening. Tami learned from Tasha that Shaunie and Evelyn told her that things could go really badly with Tami at their initial meeting. Tami confronts her friend about painting her in a negative light. While Shaunie understands where Tami is coming from, she still stands by her statement. After all, the women got along didn't they?
