Okay, I think the majority of us can agree that most of the reality shows we love tuning into need to clean house as far as the cast mates.  It's nice to think they may actually listen to the viewers when people tire of watching such toxic relationships (Real Housewives of New Jersey, anyone?).  However, when the producers clean house in what appears to be an attempt to gain more drama, I'm not on board.

What do I mean?  It seems that the folks at VH1 are getting rid of several ladies from Basketball Wives: LA while leaving the only two that despise each other in good standing with the show.  I don't know how much Shaunie O'Neal has to do with Los Angeles franchise (if any of y'all know, please enlighten me), but given her penchant for drama and cattiness (you need not look any further than the original Basketball Wives to know I'm right), this has her name written all over it.

Hey guys!  Guess what!?!  We haven't heard anything from Basketball Wives' Evelyn Lozada for a few hours days.  Did you miss her?  I feel you.  Fear not though, as she's back with some new accusations against ex-husband Chad Johnson Ochocinco Johnson (soon to be Ochocinco again?).

Please know that I don't take any allegations of domestic abuse lightly.  It's serious and scary stuff, and no one deserves it, even if they've thrown plates and wine bottles at their co-stars.  NO ONE should be in that position (including the co-star who was the target of the bottle!).  I'm coming from a place of personal knowledge, so I do know that sometimes (not always) it takes two people to fight.  However, when one party gets physical, all bets are off and it's not pretty.  Plus, no matter what kind of crap one party can spew, words will never beat fists…which is why the fact that paper beats rock still baffles me to this day!  :)

That said, whatever opinions I had of Evelyn (and, as you can imagine, they weren't pleasant) before the domestic abuse claims were thrown out the window once Chad admitted to wrongdoing.  Both of them need help.  However, it seems that instead of working on themselves, they both choose to let their drama play out on Twitter.  Because that's okay.  I have so much to say, but I'll refrain because I don't want to appear to be apathetic.  They both need to hermit and keep their business out of the media.  I hope that statement was PC enough!

Oh Basketball Wives and Basketball Wives L.A., what would we do without you?  From the ridiculous to the boring to the lunch meet-ups to the over-the-top crazy personalities, you both run the gamut.  Here's a little dose of some BBW and BBW LA news to quench your thirst for some daily trash!  I kid, I kid…for once news about these ladies (the originals, especially!) is relatively tame!

First up, Evelyn Lozada is a busy little beeotch!  Not only has her private marital dramas played out in the public eye, she is working on several projects.  I'm guessing she's trying to stay busy to keep her mind off of all her issues with soon-to-be-ex-husband Chad Ochocinco Johnson.  We certainly can't blame her for that now, can we?

I am so glad I haven't been holding my breath about VH1 cancelling Baseketball Wives in light of all the drama surrounding Evelyn Lozada and the recent firings of Jennifer Williams, Kesha Nichols, and Royce Reed.  Who wants to watch an hour of just Shaunie O'Neal flaring her nostrils?  Not this girl!

There is always speculation about switch-ups in the cast, and I'm sure this won't be the last rumor we hear regarding new "wives" joining the show.  The latest news is that Tasha Marbury will be joining the ladies for the upcoming season, and–are you sitting down?–she's actually the wife…of a basketball player!  Crazy, right?

Yeah, you have to love when someone becomes all about self-help.  It's even more entertaining when that person is Chad Johnson.  Don't get me wrong, I have thought for a long time that Chad is a total d-bag, and his domestic incident with Basketball Wives' Evelyn Lozada certainly exacerbated that.  Bless him.  It appears that Mr. Ochocinco is learning a lot from calf tattoos and shame.

The former NFL star–and former husband, for that matter–is taking steps to improve his self-image temper.  Taking a page from every violent celebrity's playbook, Chad has enrolled in anger management counseling.  Good for him?

Just one month after filing for divorce (after just 42 days of marriage), Evelyn Lozada and Chad "ochocinco" Johnson are officially divorced. Take that, Kim Kardashian!  THIS is how you get married and divorced lickety split! (Is that divorce moving at a snail's pace or what!?)

Evelyn filed the paperwork to get the ball rolling to end her union just four weeks ago.  At first Chad wasn't on board and thought he could fight to keep his marriage despite that whole headbutting/domestic violence incident.  He caved in and filed his paperwork late last week and it's already finalized and over after a Florida judge signed off on it.

Next up for Chad is facing the misdemeanor battery charges filed against him.

TELL US – ARE YOU SHOCKED AT HOW FAST THEY SETTLED THEIR DIVORCE? DID YOU THINK THEY'D CHANGE THEIR MINDS AT THE LAST MINUTE?

Basketball Wives star and producer Shaunie O'Neal certainly surrounds herself with some classy people, I'd say.  You know what they say though, birds of a feather and all that jazz!

The show has been plagued with lawsuits since its inception, but they usually involve peripheral players.  Yet another legal entanglement surrounding the show has been settled as well, and it involves Shaunie's friend and "celebrity shoe consultant" Rashidah Ali.  Rashidah was featured on a few early episodes of the series as a pal of Shaunie.  Rashindah was sued for $10 million after allegedly cutting a man in the face with a box cutter.  What is it with these women and their box cutters?  Paging Kenya Bell

It's not a good time to married to a basketball player apparently.  Divorce is in the air for not one, but two, Basketball Wives stars.  I guess no one should be surprised, given that being a wife isn't necessarily a precursor to be on the show!

While Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson are still in a tumultuous downward spiral after the domestic incident, Evelyn's target Kenya Bell can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel with her divorce from Charlie Bell…and that light is saying "cha-ching!"
