Ben Flajnik’s season of The Bachelor has barely started filming yet the drama is already out of control! I guess that’s to be expected when 25 women are vying for the attention of one man!
Reality Steve, spoiler du jour for all things Bachelor related, reports that one of the women that make up Ben’s bevy of bachelorettes asked to leave the show after she fell for one of the producers!
Here’s a little background information to set the story in motion: All of the producers on the set of The Bachelor are men! So basically these 25 women, removed from their lives and quarantined in a mansion while waiting for the attentions of one man, start to form a friendship with the producers constantly around. The women start to trust the producers. The producers play a “best friend” type role in the hopes that the women will reveal secrets, gossip and other incriminating material about themselves that can then be used for dramatic purposes to amp up the show.
Steve reports that “any” of the former contestants will vouch for this and flirting “absolutely” takes place between the women and the producers, except for the women completely focused on the prize! Well, in this situation the contestant got a little side-tracked and potentially was reading too much into the relationship she developed with the producer. Oops! Or maybe she just wasn’t feeling Ben (who does seem a little on the boring side!)?
According to Steve, the unnamed woman fell for this producer so hard she confessed to the crew that she wasn’t so into the main man! Instead of being sent home right away, she was apparently convinced to stick around for another week and was eliminated during the next rose ceremony. My guess – the powers that be at ABC wanted her to play up the ‘I think I might have feelings for someone else’ storyline without disclosing that it was actually a producer on their show!
The producer in question also happens to be married with children! And he is still working for the show, as of now, which leaves Reality Steve to believe that no physical relationship actually took place but it was merely a flirtation or perhaps an excuse for said woman to exit the show. No one knows yet if this incident will make the air, but we all know the producers edit the show how they want it to look regardless of what goes on behind-the-scenes!
Before everyone starts describing this as Rozlyn Papa 2.0 – it was nothing of the sort! In case you don’t remember Rozlyn got caught having relations (and sex!) with a producer and was sent home immediately. The producer in question was also fired.
Steve is also reporting that another contestant named Britni asked to be sent home early! Wow – Ben must really suck as the Bach! I guess we’ll have to see how it all plays out!
