Bentley Edwards

Things continue to go awry for Teen Mom star, Maci Bookout, as after reportedly being dumped by her beau of nearly two years Kyle King. She will now have to fight to keep custody of her son.

According to the latest issue of Star Magazine, Maci’s baby daddy, Ryan Edwards, now wants full custody of their 3-year old son Bentley.

“Ryan initially wanted joint custody,” reveals a source. “But after the incident in Anaheim when she got kicked out of the hotel, he’s trying to get full custody. Full is what he really wants.” The incident in Anaheim is apparently when Maci and Kyle had a major fight in California about their relationship, which in turn led to them being kicked out of the hotel, after which, Maci went out partying until 3:00 am.

So what led to Ryan’s change of heart? Apparently his “concern about Maci’s drinking and partying,” explains the source. “Maci goes out all the time. As it is now, Ryan already has Bentley more than she does. Maci will leave Bentley with Ryan so she can go out and party.”

The source also claims Maci’s bad behavior is now rubbing off on her young son. “Bentley will go to Ryan’s after being with his mom, and he’ll be cussing a lot,” reveals the source. “Ryan will ask where he gets it from, and Bentley says, ‘Mama and Ky.’ She’s being really inappropriate.” Yikes!

To make matters worse, the newly single Maci, 20, has reportedly moved in “with three drunk party girls,” the source says. It has “Ryan really worried.”

For the time being, Ryan has yet to officially start the custody war, as he’s waiting to petition the courts until he can establish himself as the more responsible parent.

On last night’s episode of Teen Mom, it’s time for witches, monsters and costumes…and I’m not talking about the actual cast. Happy Halloween, Teen Moms! Amber struggles with her recent Child Protective Services investigation, Farrah does her best to finish culinary school on a high note, Maci and Ryan don’t succeed in co-parenting, and Catelynn and Tyler look for employment.

Tyler and Catelynn hit up a local haunted corn maze, and while I am normally TERRIFIED by these kinds of things in real life, it looks ridiculously silly on television. The couple assesses their finances and realize they both need to find an after-school job. They are growing up so fast.

Sophia is “helping” Farrah load the dishwasher as she stresses over the end of culinary school. Sophia seems to be as hard-headed as her mother. Farrah’s mom hopes her school recipes are gluten free so she can sample. Farrah accepts an invitation from her sister, with whom she’s had issues, to go to the pumpkin patch the following day.

Teen Mom star Maci Bookout is starting to have second thoughts about doing the popular MTV show according to a new interview with Life & Style magazine.

The reason? Maci, 19, worries about how the show is affecting her 2-year-old son Bentley Edwards. “I don’t want to steal his childhood,” says Maci who is worried about Bentley growing up under a harsh media microscope. “I don’t know if being on TV in elementary school would be difficult for him. I want him to have a normal life.”

Maci, who reportedly earns $60,000 per season, however adds that choosing to walk away from the fame show would be a very difficult decision because it has allowed her to provide for her son. “Without the show, I would have had to have a full-time job and be in school full-time, and I’d rarely get to spend time with Bentley,” Maci says. “It’s been difficult, but it’s also been a big blessing.”

As for the moment, Maci assures us Bentley’s not being affected by the show in any negative way. “He actually enjoys it,” she confesses. “Bentley thinks it’s cool to watch himself on TV and to have cameras around.”

In other Teen Mom news, Catelynn Lowell, you know, the one that sort of has it together and therefore no one really talks about her, is making recent headlines. The reason? It all has to do with an eviction.

According to TMZ Catelynn and her boyfriend Tyler Baltierra, who were shown moving into their 1st apartment together on the MTV show, were evicted from the same apartment for failing to pay rent! The 19-year-olds signed a lease on the apartment in Marine City, Michigan, in August, 2010 with court documents showing they stopped paying rent in December, 2010.

This caused their landlord to give them an eviction notice while also taking them to court. The landlord ending up winning big as the two had to give up their $450.00 security deposit, in addition to paying an additional $450 in back rent and moving out of the building.

The two of course did what any other 19-year-olds would do by taking to their twitter pages to give their side. “The landlord was an idiot and didn’t fix anything I payed [sic] every month that I lived there,” Catelynn tweeted. Tyler added, “Ok everyone I did not get evicted, I left bcuz the landlord was a lazy unprofessional man of business, and I refuse to put with it FYI.” Guess we’ll have to wait and see if the eviction drama makes the show.

A new episode of Teen Mom airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c.

Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood

Teen Mom star Maci Bookout graces this week’s cover of OK magazine under the heading – “Back With Ryan!”

In a new interview with the mag, Maci and her son’s father Ryan Edwards discuss reuniting and co-parenting Bentley. According to OK, Maci has broken up with her boyfriend Kyle King, 22, while Ryan has also broken up with his girlfriend Kathryn — who has appeared with him on the show.

“I’m taking a break. I guess she wanted more,” Ryan tells OK! about his break up, adding that he and Maci have talked about getting back together. “Maci calls to this day and wants to work it out,” Ryan, 21, reveals. “Everybody says that [she’s still in love with me].”

In other Teen Mom news, Amber Portwood also graces this week’s cover of US Weekly magazine (Why are these “teen moms” being rewarded with magazine covers?) and discusses her violent attack on ex-fiance Gary Shirley in a recent episode.

“A lot has changed,” says Amber, now in couple counseling with Gary. “I haven’t hit him since that fight.” As reported last week, Amber is currently being investigated by her local police department and child protective services following the domestic violence episode.

“When I see myself in that position, it really opens my eyes,” Amber says. “I want to stop it, because I don’t want to be like that.” Amber reveals she’s working with a counselor “on how to calm down when things happen,” she reports. “We are getting close to finding a solution…If I get mad, I always try to think about Leah and how an [outburst] will affect her.”

As for her current relationship status with Gary (RadarOnline reported last week that the two were back together), Amber says things are up in the air with the two. “I do love this man…but if we keep fighting then we can’t move forward,” she adds.
