Oh please let this be true…please, please, please! It would be so amazing to see this come to fruition. I always knew that Bethenny Frankel had a secret type, and I was right! She's totally into douchey frat daddies who are still puffing their chests and doing keg stands a decade after they graduated from college. They are a fascinating breed, but don't get too close. They are prone to STDs and using more hair product than any woman I know!
And Bethenny is in love with one! Yes! She wants to shout it from the rooftops, no doubt, wearing a string bikini and one of those weird bejeweled belly necklace situations. Epic.
Everyone’s favorite “housewife” Bethenny Frankel has apparently fallen hard for boyfriend, Jason Hoppy. Bethenny tells People magazine in a new interview this week – “I’m in love.” We can all sigh a collective awwwww.
Bethenny continues, “I’m pretty much certain I’m going to spend the rest of my life with him … I’m really happy.”
The big surprise about this relationship is that they have been dating for 8 months according to Bethenny. She says she did not want to go public with the relationship until she was certain it was the “real deal.”
And how did they meet? “I was getting my picture taken and I had a scowl on my face. He came up and said, ‘Are you going to get that stick out of your a–?’” Frankel recalls. “ Jill [Zarin] loves him. For six months we called him ‘Tenjune.’ He does pharmaceutical sales and real estate. He’s very, very athletic, [and] all-American.”
Bethenny goes on to say Jason will be appearing on the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City, “He’ll be on the show. He’s totally cool about it, but not gung ho. He’s not Speidi,” Frankel said. “He’s excited for me and everything that’s happening for me.”
The Real Housewives of New York’s Bethenny Frankel has a new man in her life, and is going public with it. Bethenny is pictured above with her new boyfriend who according to this NY Times article is named Jason Hoppy.
Guess those A-rod rumors were simply rumors. Bethenny talked about Jason to the NYTimes, “My friends call him ‘Tenjune’ — that’s his name,” Ms. Frankel said, referring to the nightclub in the meatpacking district where the couple met. Mr. Hoppy, who says he works in real estate, saw Ms. Frankel getting attention from photographers, he said, and walked up and said something unprintable. She liked that.
Hoping this will be a lasting relationship for Miss Bethenny.
