I was absolutely loving Jules Wainstein during her first few episodes of Real Housewives of New York. She gorgeous, funny, and vulnerable. But then again, no one is perfect, especially on a reality TV show. And we all know that the second a person slips up and says something out of turn, that is something that will definitely end up on the show.
Needless to say, last week’s episode of RHONY was very awkward to watch. When Jules was discussing how rude Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel were in her Hamptons home, I got vicariously embarrassed for the woman. I adore Jules, but I just knew that she was going to receive a lot of backlash for an offhand comment that she made the second that I heard it. I’m sure you know what I’m referring to and the only good news here is that Jules knows it too. She feels horrible about it and is owning up to her words.
I completely understand that Kim had to take care of herself and focus on her sobriety and other personal matters, but she did take part in a reality show on Lifetime – Mother/Daughter Experiment – which makes me think that reality TV is not out of the question in a more general sense. With that said, there are plenty of reasons why RHOBH needs Kim back on the show.
In this week’s edition of reality star sightings – we have the Little Women: LA cast attending RuPaul’s DragCon over the weekend. And interestingly, it looks like Christy McGinty and Terra Jole aren’t sworn enemies any longer. The two were seen chatting it up and not a single drink glass was thrown! Also attending the event: former co-star Brittney “Freakabritt” Guzman and current cast member Tonya Banks.
Bethenny Frankel signed autographs for fans at the Kentucky Derby Day at Empire Casino in Yonkers, NY.
Rachel Zoe, David Foster and more attend the Annual Goldie’s Love In For Kids event in L.A.
Dorinda Medley began this season of The Real Housewives of New York in the hot seat, so she was relieved to be more of a bit part character last week. Calling her RHONY castmates “killer sharks,” Dorinda jokes that “the moment they stop moving, stop preying, stop stinging, they die.” So, who are they zeroed in on now? Newbie Jules Wainstein, of course!
Dorinda is relieved, but wary. “This week, it’s a relief to see there’s been a cosmic shift away from ME. I’m not in the crosshairs, but like I said last week, that means Jules is in the hot seat, and this one has been set to ROAST.” She adds, “So by now, you’ve seen that Jules is on the spit, getting turned very slowly.Sonja [Morgan’s] on the back burner, just at a simmer, with Luann de Lesseps on the counter, getting primped and prepped for her day in the sun. This is one kitchen I’m glad to be out of at this point.”
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Aside from RHONY specifically, it has been hard to find reality TV scenes that top those in the most general sense. So I am always down for Kelly to make a return to RHONY – not that I have any power or influence over the casting process at Bravo. Since I have no way of getting in touch with Kelly Bensimon myself, I am happy that someone else has asked her about making a return to the reality series.

I would hate to be on Carole Radziwill‘s bad side. As a writer, she really knows how to deliver the most cutting digs and throw the best shade. And now that she and Bethenny Frankel are at BFF status, she is not just defending herself: she’s also going to bat for her girl Bethennyduring this season of Real Housewives of New York City.
This season of Real Housewives of New York City pretty much just started and it’s already chock full of drama. There is so much going on that the drama is overflowing onto the blogs and social media pages. This is the kind of season that I was hoping for! There is really so much tension this season. Just when it seems like two of the ladies have made amends…someone backtracks to beef about the one or two words in the apology that didn’t sit well with her.
It may have seemed like Bethenny Frankel was cool with Luann de Lesseps and Jules Wainstein after the latest episode, but that was until she saw what was said behind her back and during the on-camera interviews. Now, Bethenny is pretty offended and she she sounded off in her blog.
