Last night was the second episode of Private Lives of Nashville Wives. The ladies continued to get to know each other and already the bitchy claws are coming out – southern girl style for some and full-fledged Real Housewife in training for others!
Cassie Chapman and her husband Gary have had their share of struggles – most notably their inability to have a child. The couple finally decided to adopt their daughter Eva Rose. Unfortunately birth mom Chelsea has ten days to change her mind and seems to be wavering. Cassie is on pins and needles, but Gary trusts faith and believes, "The more you anticipate the good, the better it will be."
To take her mind off the stressful situation Cassie decides to visit Erika Page White. Erika is a control freak and a micro-manager who invites Cassie over to tour their immaculate to the point of boring home. It is literally like one of those extended stay hotels except 4x the size. Everything is beige and bland. Even the master bedroom features rent-a-center style dullsville furniture and no personal touches. Erika describes "perfect" as a closet that is completely empty and "echos". Her hallway closet has one thing in it: a Dyson – and definitely NOT the purple Dyson Pet, the classic yellow for impeccably clean people.
Last night was the premiere of Private Lives of Nashville Wives and so far I'm loving it! The ladies and the friendships seem genuine and fun, the husbands are adorable, and the interactions seem authentic. The houses are fabulous but not ridiculous and the relationships seem authentic.
It's CMA Festival week in Nashville which means the town is bumping with parties, events, music festivals. and entertainment.
Jenny Terrell is my favorite wife so far. She is married to JT, who runs a party-supply company that everyone in Nashville uses, and she herself is a national sales director for Living Social. They have a son named Hank and JT is basically a stay-at-home dad as his business runs itself. "I should write a book," he jokes about balancing business, family, and love. "You should," Jenny agrees and the wheels start spinning. Their house looks like a tree house, BTW.
They take Hank to the park and Jenny is wearing like a schoolgirl outfit with white tennis shoes and socks. Oooohhh… girl. No. I also don't think she owns a brush but maybe it's because she's too busy having fun to care. Isn't there a Living Social deal for hairbrushes or anti-frizz treatments or something?
Tonight TNT is unveiling an all-new series that already has me riveted. Private Lives of Nashville Wives will go behind the scenes with some of the most famous Mrs's in the country music business.
Following the ups and downs of former soap star Erika Page White, Jenny Terrell (married to a legendary Nashville party planner), Cassie Chapman, Sarah Davidson, and twin sisters BettyMalo and Ana Margarita Fernandez; the ladies school us in the very important rules of southern etiquette, family matters, and style in the ultra-exclusive Nashville world. However it's not all high-gloss parties, fabulous country-meets-fashion week outfits, and glamorous living.
New TNT reality show Private Lives of Nashville Wives promises to be explosive and insane. Featuring six high-profile ladies who are either married to country music royalty or lead their own very dynamic lives, this show will follow in the footsteps of their Real Housewives counterparts.
We already introduced you to wives Erika Page White, Cassie Chapman, Jenny Terrell, Sarah Davidson and identical twins Ana Fernandez and Betty Malo, but the trailer for the first season was just unveiled.
Hold onto your… CMT awards? There's a trashy really amazing new reality show on the way about the famous wives of Nashville. So this is like the soap opera Nashville only with less hottie McDeacon and more crazie mcblondie reality stars. Sign me up!
Private Lives of Nashville Wives will be coming to TNT in a few months and the network must know they have a hit on their hands because they are unveiling the brand new bunch of famewhore wannabes cast already! Let's meet the ladies. I can presumptively call them "ladies" because I haven't seen them in action yet.
