It’s just week 1 in the Big Brother household and a lot is starting to unfold already!
The premiere episode ended with housemate Hayden winning the Head of Household, while Andrew, who volunteered to sit out the HOH competition was declared ineligible for eviction.
The biggest surprise comes in the form of a new twist. The Saboteur delivered a message to the houseguests informing them that two of their cast members are lifelong friends and already had an alliance before entering the BB game. No word yet on who the two HGs are.
In this week’s spoilers, the two nominees are revealed as well as the POV winner. A showmance is also brewing between two of the housemates, can you guess who?
Tonight is the long awaited premiere of CBS’s summer hit reality show – Big Brother!
Big Brother 12 debuts tonight at 8 p.m. EDT. As usual, the show will air three episodes a week. This season will be on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The uncensored nightly broadcast will continue to air on Showtime as well.
13 contestants are vying for the $500,000 prize this season but it wouldn’t exactly be Big Brother without a big twist. The twist this year is that there is a Saboteur who has been planted among the houseguests to do viewers’ bidding and disrupt the players’ lives throughout the competition.
However the ‘Saboteur,’ who will be revealed to the viewers on July 15, isn’t eligible to win the $500,000 prize. According to the show’s producers, the inside man/woman isn’t an actor, but a real player who went through the same casting process as the rest of the houseguests.
And though the show has yet to premiere, the houseguests have already moved in and are already playing the game as we speak. You can click below to get a free sneak peek at what’s going on in the house!
CBS has now unveiled the cast of the best reality show ever hit reality show Big Brother. The 13 houseguests that will be taking part in the 12th season of what CBS is dubbing the “Summer of Sabotage,” include a model, a bartender, and a chemistry graduate student who is also a VIP cocktail waitress.
But what everyone wants to know is what is the big twist this season? Well according to executive producer Allison Grodner, a mole has been planted among the houseguests to do the viewers’ bidding and disrupt the players’ lives during this season which debuts July 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
The mole, who will be revealed to viewers during the July 15 episode, is being called the Saboteur and isn’t eligible to win the $500,000 grand prize.
“For the first time ever, we have someone in the house who, in a way, is playing their own game,” said Grodner, who stressed that the operative is not an actor but a real person who was picked alongside everyone else. “They’re playing for a cash prize, if they make it a certain amount of time in the house. If they don’t last, they’re out, and their cover is blown.”
The Saboteur is similar to season 8’s introduction of “America’s Player,” which allowed one contestant, Eric Stein, to complete viewer-voted tasks for cash, unbeknownst to his house mates. The main difference this time however is that the cast will be made aware of the saboteur’s existence beforehand.
