Blake Julian

Last week, yet another cycle of the ABC-sponsored divorce competition The Bachelorette premiered, this time with Emily Maynard, the former fiancee of 2011 Bachleor, Brad Womack. Brad claims he wasn’t one of the thousands watching and snarking on Emily’s quest for love amongst people who desperately want to be on television, but I’m doubtful.

In an interview with local channel ABC 13, Brad says, “All I’ll say is she is a helluva woman and I hope it works out. I have no interest [in watching].” Maybe Brad prefers DVR or reading the live tweets of the show. I just have a hard time believing anyone wouldn’t watch a television show featuring their ex, especially one he broke up with so relatively recently. Just admit it, Brad!

Following the surprise announcement on the Bachelor Pad finale that his ex-fiance was now engaged to her new beau, Michael Stagliano is speaking out on what he calls a humiliating moment.

On Monday’s airing of the Bachelor Pad reunion, Michael was brought out on stage and told his ex Holly Durst was enaged to fellow contestant Blake Julian. Immediately following the reunion taping last week in Los Angeles, both Michael and Holly spoke to PEOPLE.

“I was caught off guard, humiliated. I know neither Holly nor Blake wanted it to go down like that,” said Michael. “I’m now even more thankful for the talk we had two weeks ago, which provided closure I didn’t have before. If we hadn’t had that that, it would have been so much worse tonight. I might have just walked off stage.”

Holly, who actually got engaged days before the reunion taping, goes on to blame ABC and the Bachelor Pad producers for setting up Michael.

“I was really upset,” said Holly. “I was thinking, “Well, at least I will be able to tell him before the show so he isn’t blindsided.” But I wasn’t allowed to speak to him prior to walking out on stage. As soon as I sat down, I whispered that I needed to talk badly and then the bomb was dropped almost immediately. He was blindsided. That was the lowest thing they could have done for ratings.”

Umm Holly, you had days to tell him but you didn’t! Michael however keeps it classy when he reveals he is actually happy for Holly despite all.

Michael states, “We were engaged and therefore I will always care about and love her so it makes me happy when she is happy. I wish we could have been happy together but we’re always going to care about and love each other. I have no reason to be mad at Holly or Blake. You can’t help who you fall for.”

Holly adds, “If we had walked out there hating each other, I don’t think we would have gotten as many votes. He’s the best guy and I can’t wait for him to find the right girl.”

Meanwhile Bachelor insider Reality Steve is reporting that Holly’s fiance Blake got the $25,000 Neil Lane diamond engagement ring for free from ABC in exchange for allowing them to tape the proposal. Classy. Holly will reportedly have to return the three carats cushion-cut diamond ring in the case that the engagement gets called off.

TELL US – IS ABC OR HOLLY TO BLAME FOR MICHAEL FINDING OUT ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT THE WAY HE DID?

The Bachelor Pad season 2 three-hour finale aired last night and new winners were crowned!

Beating out the other 16 contestants, Holly Durst and her partner/ex-fiance Michael Stagliano emerged the winners, taking home the $250,000 prize on the ABC show Monday night.

Holly and Michael beat out runner-ups Graham Bunn and Michelle Money. The 14 eliminated contestants were the ones who voted, giving Holly and Michael got 10 votes, while Michelle and Graham only got 4.

The finale was of course not without drama. It was revealed that Holly, 28, had gotten engaged to Blake Julian, 28, much to the complete surprise of her former fiance Michael, 27. Michael was understandably upset as he wondered why he had to find out about the engagement on the show.

While Michael admitted he was “hurt” he hadn’t heard about her engagement before the reunion show, he didn’t let it deter him from choosing to share the prize with Holly. The two partners ended up taking home $125,000 each.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE? SHOULD HOLLY HAVE INFORMED MICHAEL ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT BEFORE HAND?

While the Bachelor Pad 2 finale won’t air until Monday night on ABC, the finale was actually taped earlier this week with the winners chosen.

Bachelor insider Reality Steve did it again, by revealing the spoilers and most importantly the winning couple. Those spoilers are below!

In other Bachelor Pad news, new couple Holly Durst and Blake Julian are now engaged!

PEOPLE magazine confirms the couple, both age 28, are planning to tie the knot after only dating a few months. Reality Steve first broke the news, stating the engagement will be revealed during the Bachelor Pad finale.

According to RS, Blake proposed about a week ago. Holly’s ex-fiance and her partner on the show, Michael Stagliano, was reportedly unaware of the engagement and had to find out during the finale taping this week. Yikes.

ABC will air the super-sized 3-hour Bachelor Pad finale Monday night at 8/7c.

Melissa Schreiber
After displaying her super cra-cra emotional ways on both the Bachelor and the Bachelor Pad, Melissa Schreiber insists she is not that crazy emotional off camera!

In a conference call with reporters following her elimination on the most recent episode of the Bachelor Pad, Melissa, a 32-year-old waitress, expresses her regrets, reveals her feelings regarding her partner Blake Julian today, and her reason for deciding to do another reality show (hint – she wanted to repair her image).

Below are excerpts from Melissa’s interview -

Melissa, was there any blowback in your real life over the drama on the show?
Melissa: Not at all. My friends and family have been so supportive. They know that I’m not that emotional outside of the Bachelor world. It’s so funny. Every episode, I get like 50 text messages saying, “Who are you? We don’t recognize you on TV.” For some reason, when in the Bachelor house, I’m overly emotional… I’m disappointed. I never fall for people after that short amount of time. I think it was just that environment and wanting to have a partner to get through the game with so badly.

Do you still have feelings for Blake?
Melissa: I have no feelings whatsoever. I’m over it. He’s still Tweeting nasty things about me. We had some email correspondence that was very passive aggressive on his end. I just want to be done with him. Blake is not the kind of human being I would want to be with. He’s not a good person.

You had public opinion problems or roommate issues while on Bachelor. Why put yourself back out there?
Melissa: I was asked and said no several times. I didn’t agree until two weeks prior to flying out. I came on to repair my image, which obviously did not work, and to win the money.

Is a Kasey-Vienna win inevitable?
Melissa: Kasey and Vienna knew what they are doing. They came into this playing the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made it to the final two couples.

Who would you like to see win?
Melissa: I love Kasey and Vienna so much but Michelle Money is like a sister to me. I would like to see her in the end.

A new episode of the Bachelor Pad airs tonight on ABC at 8/7c.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON MELISSA’S INTERVIEW? ARE YOU BUYING THAT SHE’S NOT THAT CRAZY EMOTIONAL IN REAL LIFE?

On Monday, August 8, it’s time to hit the hot tubs! ABC is premiering the second season of the Bachelor Pad, a wonderful train wreck where the rejects (and one winner!) from seasons past move into a house together and compete with one another for a chance to win $250,000.

The opening episode apparently has so much drama and so little clothing, it needs three hours to do the show justice. Why, you may ask? Well, this time around former Bachelor, the creepy plastic Jake Pavelka (who LOVES a reality show), must face former fiance Vienna Girardi.

You may recall the couple’s break-up was less than amicable. Fear not though. Vienna has a new man, Kasey Kahl, who will surely guard and protect her heart. Holly Durst and break-dancing Michael Stagliano are also fresh from a broken engagement. Other memorable house mates include sh*t stirrer Michelle Money and Bachelor Pad alum Gia Allemand.
