I’ve got to give it to one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbies. Can Kathryn Edwards blog or can Kathryn Edwards blog? While her entries may be a bit verbose (so I love them, but I’ve cut some content), Kathryn maneuvers the Internet like a professional. She may not always make the best impressions while filming, but Kathryn is thoughtful and calculated enough to express herself in her Bravo blogs in a manner that makes her appear both sincere and balanced. Who’s taking sides? Not Kathryn! At least, not really…girlfriend should teach a class. Co-star Eileen Davidson could benefit…
She rehashes this week’s episode with panache. Starting with a slew of compliments for Yolanda Foster (K-Ed knows never to kick a RHOBH star when they’re down), Kathryn writes, “I hope this time of year finds everyone well…I love spring as everything turns green and begins to bloom again. Last week you saw a few of us ladies (Yolanda, Kyle [Richards], Erika [Girardi] and I) head to New York to attend Yolanda’s Global Lyme Alliance gala. Well tonight you got to see the event and hear some of the honorees speak of their battle with Lyme. I was so appreciative to be invited and attend this event for a few reasons–namely, to support Yolanda in her battle against this very debilitating disease while trying to bring awareness to it and help others.”
Eileen jokes about Dubai, “I wonder if Kyle [Richards] is a genius for inviting us all to a destination with such strict laws. Since swearing is a punishable offense, I guess I’ll have to get really creative in my communication this week.”
“Getting to Dubai was a journey,” admits Eileen. “When we arrived, it was like we’d been flown to another planet. The hotel was extravagant, over the top, and definitely ‘other worldly.’ I’m so glad I called dibs on the underwater ‘suite,’ a word I’ll use loosely, because it was about 10 times the size of my first apartment. I also didn’t have to share a room with anyone. I mean besides the fishes…”
Last night the ladies of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills went on a journey! First they hitched a ride on Yolanda Foster‘s journey and they traveled to the center of Lymes, past the lemon groves and through the gardens of delusion and deceit, landing themselves at Cipriani. Afterwards they spent 24 hours on a plane hurtling through the night skies to a faraway land where they slept with the sharks, but alas my favorite part was Lisa Vanderpump putting on Kyle Ricahrds‘ signature kaftan and looking so damn good she put Kyle to unholy shame!
After 14 months living deprived of earthly comforts like concealer, Yolanda has finally rejoined the living. Is it me or every time Yolanda provides a ‘fact’ about her ‘journey’ the math inflates? I see someone studied Econ at the Federal Reserve!
First they ask Brandi how things have been going since we saw her last. It involves a whole lot of cardboard boxes. “All I do is move, move, move no matter what! Since last year’s RHOBH reunion, which was incredibly emotionally draining, I’ve moved not once but twice. I continue to defend myself against a defamation of character lawsuit filed by a fellow ex-Housewife from a different city. My two boys are growing into little men and are doing not just good but AMAZING. We have a new full-time roommate–my best friend and former hairdresser known to many as Mark, who is now transitioning into a woman and wants to be known as Mia.” Brandi also shared that she stays busy with her many projects – a new book, her podcast, wine, etc.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
“How different life was seven months ago. I guess the only thing constant in life is change, and boy did I experience change in 2015,” says Yolanda. “I fought to live, I loved, I lost, I missed, I hurt, I trusted, I made mistakes, but most of all, I learned..and with that knowledge I choose to move forward, one day at a time.”
Yolanda says she’s proud of Camille Grammer for sharing her “journey” and turning her “mess into a message,” sharing, “I was happy to be able to support her beautiful event, even if it was just for a quick visit.”
