RadarOnline is reporting that Danielle Staub of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and one of her daughters were involved in a car crash Thursday morning. She apparently lost control of her car while driving in icy conditions.
According to Radar, Danielle and her daughter were taken to Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, at around 9 am for treatment.
Sources say Danielle was overheard complaining of back pains while her daughter was being pushed around the emergency room in a wheel chair.
A spokesman for Poquannock police in New Jersey confirms Danielle was indeed involved in the accident: “We can confirm that Miss Staub was involved in a minor car accident after the vehicle she was traveling in lost control in some icy conditions.”
No word yet on their current conditions or which one of her daughters was involved in the crash.
The couple has dealt with several financial hardships in the past year, which included some very public evictions, and a million dollar lawsuit judgement against the couple.
The OC Register reports the couple was recently in court so that a real estate investor who won a $1.26 million judgment against them could check out their assets. “Everyone thinks because of the show we’re gazillionaires,” Lynne said after coming out of the court.
“When the economy turned we lost all of our money in real estate investments. We’ve been trying to get back on our feet ever since then,” added Frank Curtin.
Lynne and Frank appeared in court on Wednesday under the threat of arrest. As we previously reported, a Superior Court Judge issued a bench arrest warrant for the couple when they failed to attend a hearing in the case last month. The bench warrant was however set aside as the Judge gave them a chance to show up yesterday.
The $1.26 mil judgment was for a real estate investor who said he wasn’t paid after lending the Curtins money for projects that didn’t pan out.
Franklin Casco Jr., the attorney for the Curtins said they would try to resolve the case “informally,” but maintained filing for bankruptcy is an option they are considering.
“I’ve never cheated on him, so I don’t exactly know what he means by that,” said Tamra, 42, in a new interview with iVillage. “And then verbal abuse. I’m so verbally abusing him in my head right now.”
Despite her marital drama and very public divorce, Tamra continues to stay positive. “I’m sure I’m going to go through many ups and downs with emotions, but right now I feel good,” she says. And what about dating in her near future? “There will be a time that I date, but right now I’m just focusing on my kids and trying to get settled in my new apartment and just waiting to see what happens next,” she says.
When asked about her on-and-off arch nemesis and costar, Gretchen Rossi, Tamra had the following to say, “I think so much has been said between the two of us that I don’t think we’ll ever be best friends, but we can be cordial to each other in social environments,” says Tamra, joking, “You know I don’t call her up and ask her, ‘Hey how you doing? You and Slade want to come over?’”
In another interview with UsWeekly, Tamra reveals she has some regrets when it comes to her family and how she handled things. Mostly over some of the things she said on the show. Tamra says, “When it comes to the family . . . [there are] maybe some thing I shouldn’t have said.”
Interestingly enough, tonight’s episode of the hit show will focus more on the couple’s creepy relationship. I came across the following story from the site – AbsurdtoSublime which details the extent the Bellinos went to in order to appear on the show and become famous. This allegedly came from a reliable source -
“Alexis and Jim did everything they could to get on this show. They bought a house from Jeana and befriended her. They bought a car from Simon and befriended him. Alexis joined Gretchen’s gym and befriended her. They watched the show every week since it’s been aired and tried to get as many connections as possible. I do have to say, it worked. Though it was expensive! Fancy houses and luxury cars aren’t cheap. Hope they feel it is worth it.”
Very interesting. There’s another story out about Jim Bellino’s past and businesses endeavors. The show simply lists Jim as being a business man with little mention of the exact type of businesses he operates. There have been numerous reports that Jim owns a pawn shop.
According to GossipList, Jim was indicted in 2000 by the Feds for counterfeit autographed sports memorabilia. A source posted the following -
“A James Carlos Bellino, who owned a business called Forensic Document Services, located at 1115 N. Tustin Ave., Orange, CA, was indicted by the Feds in 2000 (3:00-cr-03071-JM: USA v. Bellino) for conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
The accusations involved sales to federal agents of forged sports memorabilia, specifically, baseballs with forged Babe Ruth signatures. The government subsequently deferred prosecution. a short hand way of letting Bellino off without jail time if he paid restitution of almost $30,000, went on probation for a year, and got out of the sports memorabilia business.”

After months of speculation, a rep for Playboy magazine confirmed to UsMagazine that the mother of two will pose in its March issue. Kelly, “will be featured on the cover and in a 6-page nude pictorial in the March issue,” the rep reveals.
Kelly has already shot her pictorial. She was shot by her ex-husband Gilles Bensimon, who happens to be a famed fashion photographer.
Gretchen does not hold back as she tells the mag she suspects the Barneys impending divorce might be solely for publicity. “…I guess well have to see if it’s really true,” Gretchen tells OK! of Tamra’s divorce, “because I wouldn’t be surprised if we see them next year back together and this was a whole publicity stunt.”
Gretchen, however goes on to wish her co-star well, you know just in case the divorce is really real and stuff. “I think divorce is a horrible thing for anybody and I pray that her kids can make it through, but at the same time… But if it is real I hope that they can get through it, but I just hope they are not trying to fool the world,” Gretchen adds.
Gretchen, 32, has decided its better too keep her distance from the rest of the housewives with the exception of Alexis.
“I chose to keep positive people in my life that are uplifting and those girls, except Alexis, aren’t like that and I really don’t have an ill word to speak about them. They are who they are and their true colors show and I just don’t care to really talk one way or the other about them,” says Gretchen.
Critisism about her relationship with boyfriend Slade Smileyand his parenting skills, is something Gretchen does not understand.
“It’s been really frustrating lately because people have so many negative things to say about him and it’s hard for me because he is one of the most amazing men I have ever met,” Gretchen gushes to OK!, “And it bothers me that the women have a comment about his children or how he is as a father when they have never even seen him around his children and they don’t know anything about the situation. It’s very ignorant…”
When her new music career is not keeping her busy, Gretchen spends her free time working on her new beauty line – Gretchen Christine Beaute, and she also reveals her hopes of being a mom someday saying, “I want to have kids of my own!”
Returning this season is the matchmaker herself Patti Stanger, along with Vice President of Matching, Chelsea Autumn and her Chief Operating Officer, Destin Pfaff. Also back is Destin’s fiancée, Rachel, as the first time parents head into season three.
This season will focus on Patti’s matchmaking of course but it will also showcase Patti’s recent engagement, as well as the return of some of Patti’s most memorable clients such as Shauna Raisch from season 2. Patti will also take on more gay clients this season.
More about the show’s 3rd season is below -
Bravo and Patti Stanger are back together and going strong for a third season of the hit docu-series The Millionaire Matchmaker, premiering Tuesday, January 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Stanger will stop at nothing to build her matchmaking empire – her business is flourishing, she has a successful book under her belt and is now hosting her own radio advice show. But after years of helping others find love, Stanger herself finally seals the deal. She and her longtime love, Andy Friedman, are engaged at last.
In the third season, Stanger once again takes on a selection of millionairesses and gay clients. Plus, millionaires past will come back to haunt Stanger, notably Shauna Raisch who caused a stir last season due to a very tense and uncomfortable exchange with the matchmaker. But Stanger remains unfazed by it all, whipping her millionaires into shape even with a full plate of her own as she makes plans for her upcoming nuptials.
Next to Big Brother, Millionaire Matchmaker is probably my 2nd favorite reality show. I love Patti’s honesty and abrasiveness. The clueless millionaires and sometimes desperate gold diggers women on the show makes it all the more entertaining.

According to the OC Register, the housewife and her husband Frank Curtin have paid the overdue rent on their Aliso Viejo, CA home, thus avoiding another eviction on their $2595 a month rental home (the same one they can be seen living in on the show).
“They paid last month and they staved off the wolf,” said Steven Silverstein, attorney for the homeowner. “My client got her money so we stopped the eviction.”
