The cast of Little Women LA traded the sun for the snow with a cast trip to Alaska!
From everyone’s social media posts it looks like they had a blast, and let the weather provide all the iciness. Most of the ladies brought husbands (because wherever Terra Jolé goes Joe goes too). Terra even had her kids along for the trip, although none of the other ladies did.
Good viewers, I regret to inform you that we will be subjected to reliving a moment that no one should have to suffer through twice in this recap today – the “boudoir photo shoot” that Briana Renee and Matt Ericson [Grundhoffer] thought was a brilliant idea. This week, Little Women: LA also brought us an extended version of Terra Jole’s argument with Briana, and bonus footage of new gal, Mary, who Elena Gant decides to haze. But all is not lost! For Terra takes the group on a dildo tour.
We pick up at tequila tasting, where Terra and Briana are going at it over the women’s march – but really, their issues go about 62 floors deeper than that. Briana has a nasty habit of being cool to your face, and very uncool behind your back. And Terra’s not here for it anymore. Jasmine Sorge isn’t either, it turns out, as she jumps in with questions about Briana “stealing” Terra’s manager. Jasmine isn’t drinking the Terra Kool Aid, as Briana surmises, as much as she’s seeing the light after how dirty Briana did her friend Lisa (because it was Lisa’s fault Matt was sending her inappropriate texts, remember?).
Other than the paycheck and relative fame, I have no idea why Briana Renee keeps coming back to Little Women: LA. Every year her marriage to Matt Ericson takes a major hit with new adulterous, shady accusations. Briana evokes sympathy, acts like everything is fine, and then gets offended when the other cast members express concern.
It’s a cycle that never ends. I have to admit that I was initially intrigued by this drama, but I’m so over it now. Aside from this repetitive nature of this story line, it just never seems like Briana or Matt are being truthful…about anything. It’s so frustrating to watch, so I can’t imagine what it’s actually like to costar on this show with her be friends with her. Briana “opened up” about the state of their marriage and some legal issues.
Sadly, last night’s Little Women: LA showcased a raw, painful time for Elena Gant, who flew to Russia after hearing the heartbreaking news that her father had unexpectedly passed away. In positive news, Terra Jole set aside the aftermath of their mini-feud to be there for her friend, hoping that Elena didn’t blame herself for not being able to be by her father’s side at the end. Back in LA, Terra tries to rally the troops to head to a women’s march, but Briana Renee decides not to go because she is a terrible example of female empowerment thinks Terra has ulterior motives. Meanwhile, Christy McGinity Gibel lone-wolfs it yet again as she looks into medical options for Todd’s weight loss.
Terra and Briana meet for tea, and to discuss manager-stealing. Briana denies shady doings, but Terra isn’t buying it. She would have given her manager’s number to Briana if she really wanted it, but going behind her back to hit him up was wrong. Briana wants to rebuild trust…but it’s Briana we’re talking about here. She and Matt Ericson [Grundhoffer] sit on a throne of lies. Briana does agree to attend a women’s march with Terra though. (Which she’ll back out of later.)
Love her or hate her, Terra Jole was the first detective on the case when it came to the shady doings of Briana Renee’s husband, Matt Ericson [Grundhoffer]. Although Terra aired her concerns in her typical bull in a china shop way, the Little Women: LA star was right on the money when she advised Briana against marrying the “Clyde” to her “Bonnie.” So, when Briana stood by her hideous excuse for a man over his sexting scandal last year, some were shocked. Not Terra, though.
Terra says that divorce is just not in the cards for this dysfunctional couple, no matter how nasty or manipulative Matt gets – and no matter how many empty protests Briana makes. “Not to be the bearer of bad news but NEWS FLASH: In my opinion, Briana will NEVER leave Matt,” claims Terra, who adds that Matt could basically have an affair right in front of her face – yet she would stay (and probably defend his lying a$$). Sadly, many viewers know this to be true. It’s just a sad sack situation all around.
Are you guys still with me for the second part of Little Women: LA? Like the episode itself, let’s jump right into the action with Terra Jole and Elena Gant enjoying a play date with their kids. Oh my gosh, how cute are these kids?
Cute kids aside, the talk turns Elena’s recent meeting with Briana Renee’s friend, Lisa, who told her that Matt Ericson has been inappropriately texting when they have marital disagreements. Terra has her own bone to pick with Briana and is still mad that she went behind her back to try and get represented by her manager. I wish we didn’t have to spend a whole episode getting to the bottom of this but I am getting the sneaky suspicion that Terra isn’t going to let this go anytime soon (talking about it the last three episodes should have tipped me off).
Last week, Little Women: LA fans were left hanging with a “to be continued” when it came to the star crossed marriage of Briana Renee and Barf (I mean, Matt) Ericson. Briana is empty threatening divorce because they got into a fight about where she set their kid’s cup down and well, let’s just say it’s never really about the sippy cup, amirite fellow mommies? Out poured all of Briana’s animosity and betrayal over being lied to over and over again by a cheating, manipulating, brainwashing, sexual deviant (did I leave anything out?) husband.
We pick up where we left off from last week, with Matt trying to manipulate Briana into thinking this is all her fault because she doesn’t make herself vulnerable to him. Briana waffles back and forth about not wanting a divorce but she also doesn’t want to be unhappy. This leaves the door a smidge open so Matt can slide his slimy foot back in and claim he just wants to be the best he can be (provided Briana just gives him the chance!). Briana decides she is going to stick it out so she doesn’t have two kids who came from divorce, which sounds like a great reason to stay with a cheating, jobless husband who has both ears pierced.
Briana Rennee’s husband Matt Ericson might as well be a cast member on Little Women: LA. Almost every story line comes back to his shady behavior in one way or another. The entire cast has oscillated back and forth from pushing for a breakup to trying to support the relationship. At this point, Terra Jole is so over this situation and she is just pretty much done with Briana in general.
Unlike a lot of reality shows, most of the cast members on Little Women: LA have known each other for a long time. Not only that, but a lot of them have competed for jobs in the entertainment industry. With that said, there is a lot of tension among the cast and Terra has no issue sharing her side of the story – as per usual.
