Bristol Palin Set to Release Memoir, Talks Friendship With Teen Mom’s Maci

Following her recent appearance on Dancing With The Stars, it seems Bristol Palin isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

According to Popeater, Bristol, 20, is set to release a 304-page memoir during the summer. The PoliticalWire first spotted the currently titled ‘Untitled Bristol Palin Memoir,’ earlier yesterday on Amazon’s website (Amazon has since deleted the page) with the release date of June 21.

How many pages is Bristol’s memoir you ask? Just a mere 304 pages! Apparently getting pregnant at age 17, capitalizing of her famous mother Sarah Palin to appear on DWTS, and her custody battle with baby daddy Levi Johnston has given Bristol a lot of material to write about.

Bristol also spoke to E! News yesterday during which she discussed her close friendship with MTV’s Teen Mom star Maci Bookout.

Bristol told E!, “When you are having babies at my age, you can’t really connect with the same friends you had. But I do have a friend that had a baby a few months after I had Tripp. So we’ve become really close friends because of that. Yes, it’s Maci! She’s become a really good friend.”

And despite being rumored to have moved to Arizona to be closer to her new beau Gino Paoletti, Bristol revealed the two are taking things slow. “We are taking it really slow, we are not in a rush, where i was with Levi.” She added, “We’ve been friends for a really long time, he is just a good guy, he is Christan, we have a lot in common.”

It also seems Bristol has had a change of heart since the last interview she did begging ex Levi to give up his parental rights. “I would love Levi to be part of his life, but I know with Levi’s lifestyle right now its pretty hard for him to see Trip right now,” she said adding that when Tripp wants to see his daddy, she will take him home to Alaska to do so.

Bristol Palins Wants To Change Son’s Name to Palin, Hoping Levi Will Forgo Custody Rights

If it seems just like a few months ago that Bristol Palin, her fiance Levi Jonhston and their son Tripp graced the cover of UsWeekly magazine declaring their love for one another, it’s because it was.

But so much as changed since then. The couple abruptly called it quits just weeks after the magazine cover came out, Bristol appeared on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, and Levi went back to doing whatever it is he does.

Now fast forward to today as Levi has a new girlfriend and Bristol also has a new boyfriend. In fact Bristol appeared on the The Bob & Mark Show a few days ago, during which she reluctantly confirmed she is indeed dating Giancinto “Gino” Paoletti, a 20-year-old Alaska pipeline worker.

When asked about her new Arizona resident and 5-bedroom home, Bristol expressed nothing but joy. “I love the town that I live in. I love my house. Tripp’s happy; he’s healthy.” It has been rumored Bristol moved to Arizona to be nearer to her new beau Gino, who also resides in AZ.

And when it came to the Levi topic, Bristol, 20, did not hold back. When asked about the name change rumors which stemmed from a recent facebook posting by her in which she wrote, “Tripp Easton Mitchell Palin… PALIN!!!” Bristol revealed if it were up to her, Tripp’s last name would be Palin and Levi would no longer be his daddy.

“I’ve asked Levi [Johnston] to do it many different times, just get it out of the way,” said Bristol. “Just sign over his parental rights, but I don’t know if he will or if he wants to right now.” And just as an extra incentive to get Levi to abandon his child, Bristol adds that she’s willing to forgo any child support in order to keep full custody of their son.

So far, it seems Levi’s not budging.

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston To Discuss Tripp’s Move to Arizona

As we reported yesterday, Bristol Palin, who isn’t at all famous for having a famous mom and being a teen mom, and would have definitely been asked to do Dancing With The Stars even if she didn’t have a famous mom, recently purchased a home in Arizona, making plans to move there with her son Tripp while also enrolling in Arizona State University.

A new report by TMZ today reveals Bristol will have one small hurdle to overcome in other to make the move with Tripp. “According to court officials in Alaska, in order for a parent with primary custody — like Bristol — to relocate a child, she would need either consent from the other parent or she could file a motion for approval from a judge,” TMZ reports.

It however seems Bristol’s ex Levi Johnston will not be putting up a fight over the move. Levi’s rep states, “Levi is not at all upset that Bristol is going to Arizona” … adding, “After the holidays, Levi and Bristol will get together and discuss plans for Tripp.”

Bristol has also accused Levi of being an absentee dad recently. Earlier this month, when it was reported that Levi was in a new relationship, Bristol had the following to say — “I have to be happy for Levi’s new relationship because it sounds like his new girlfriend is influencing him to want to actually spend time with Tripp. I sincerely appreciate her influence because [Levi] hasn’t asked to see Tripp in over five months, so I’m happy for this new development!” Ouch.

In other news, Popeater is also reporting today that Bristol might not be the only Palin moving out of Alaska. A source close to the Palin family tells the site that the entire Palin clan is planning to leave Alaska, with Sarah Palin also eying property in Arizona.

Bristol Palin Purchases New Home In Arizona! See Photos!

Bristol Palin continues to reap the benefits of her hard work which includes getting knocked up, having a famous mother her recent appearance on Dancing With The Stars. An appearance she reportedly received $345,000 for.

TMZ is now reporting that Bristol just purchased a home in Arizona for $172,000! And get this, she paid in cash! The 3,900 square foot home, which has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a 3 car garage, is located in Maricopa, AZ.

It seems Bristol got a great deal on the home as the Huffington Post reports the home was built in 2006 and was bought for a little under $330,000 at the time.

So why purchase a house in Arizona? Well, according to TMZ, Bristol is telling friends she wants to attend Arizona State University, which is just miles away from her home.

The HollywoodLife however has a different take on Bristol’s purchase as the site’s reporting Bristol’s move to Arizona is also so she can be closer to her new boyfriend and fellow Alaskan Giancinto “Gino” Paoletti. Gino is described as a 20-year-old pipeline worker who splits his time between Alaska and Arizona. Gino reportedly also dabbles in real estate and helped Bristol find her new Arizona home, which is not too far from his.

Report: Teens Becoming Pregnant To Get On MTV’s Teen Mom

Following the wide popularity of MTV’s Teen Mom and the glamorization of the teens with the numerous countless magazine covers, it was only a matter of time before a story like this came out.

A new report by Popeater examines the whole ‘Teen Mom’ and ‘16 and Pregnant’ phenomenon. With the first crop of the MTV teen mothers now going into their twenties aka Amber Portwood, it seems MTV is eager for a new crop of knocked up teens and shockingly, insiders tell Popeater young ladies are so eager to be on reality TV that they are actually getting pregnant just to score an audition.

“This is yet another example of the desperation of fame,” Matt Titus, a relationship expert from TheLoveConsultants.com, tells Popeater. “The sad state of reality television has created a lowbrow vehicle for untainted train wreck personalities to display their private lives. Getting pregnant to be famous is like eating as many cockroaches as possible in a one minute period.”

While most networks go through thousands of applicants to cast for any reality show, MTV has a unique problem when it comes to casting for their hit show ’16 and Pregnant.’ The dilemma is the applicants have to be 16 and pregnant, leaving them a much smaller talent pool to pick their next overnight reality stars from.

Rabbi Shmuely Boteach, author of ‘Kosher Sex,’ feels that the whole reality tv celebrity culture is getting out of control. “Reality TV first began by exploiting people’s problems, assuming they would do anything for fame. The idea of teenage girls getting pregnant to be on television shows that reality TV is going a step beyond exploiting problems. It is now creating the problems.”

He adds, “These girls are ignoring the fact that this decision must followed by a lifetime of responsibility.”

Bristol Palin Slams Kathy Griffin For Making Fat Joke

Another day, another Bristol Palin headline.

Just days after slamming Margaret Cho for alleging her mother Sarah Palin forced her to do Dancing With The Stars, Bristol is now firing back at comedienne/Bravolebrity Kathy Griffin.

It all started when Kathy made fun of Bristol’s weight while hosting VH1 Divas Salute the Troops on Friday during which she appeared on stage in a bikini. While on stage, Kathy, 50, said Bristol “is “the only contestant in the history of [DWTS] to actually gain weight.”

Kathy’s joke seemed to fall flat with the audience as she elicited some boos instead of laughter. “Come on, come on. She gained like 30 pounds a week,” Griffin shouted over the crowd. “I swear to God, it was fantastic. She’s like the white Precious,” added Kathy.

Unlike her response to Margaret, Bristol made her rebuttal to Kathy short and brief. “The audience’s reaction to this ‘comedian’ spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too,” Bristol, 20, told Fox News. “I hope people didn’t have to pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms.”

Bristol Palin: ‘My Mom Did Not Force Me to Go on DWTS,’ Makes Gay Joke

A week after Margaret Cho made some controversial comments about Bristol Palin’s appearance on Dancing With The Stars, the 20-year-old is now firing back at the comedian.

It all started when Margaret accused Bristol’s mom Sarah Palin of forcing her to do DWTS during a November 29 blog post. “Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly (in the circles that I heard it from) for not winning the [2008] election, and so she told Bristol she ‘owed’ it to her to do ‘DWTS’ so that ‘America would fall in love with her again’ and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way,” blogged Margaret.

Fast forward to Saturday, on which Bristol took to her facebook page to respond to Margaret’s comments. “I will give my friend credit for creativity, and extra points for getting so many ‘facts’ wrong in so few sentences,” blogged Bristol. “Let me be blunt: my mom did not “force” me to go on DWTS. She did not ask me either. The show approached me.”

Okay, seems like a harmless reply. However Bristol then went a step further stating that perhaps Margaret’s comments stem from her lack of understanding conservative politics.

“If you understood that commonsense conservative values supports the right of individuals like you, like all of us, to live our lives with less government interference and more independence, you would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert,” wrote Bristol.

The last statement seemed to be in reference to Margaret Cho’s sexuality as she is openly gay. Some now feel Bristol’s comments might have been homophobic. A TMZ poll shows that 64% of those who voted feel the comments were indeed homophobic.

Jennifer Grey Wins Dancing With The Stars Season 11!

The Dancing With The Stars season 11 champ was crowned last night and actress Jennifer Grey came out on top!

Jennifer, 50, grabbed the mirrorball trophy on Tuesday, beating out fellow finalists Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin. Despite reports of the Tea Party getting behind Bristol, the 20-year-old was the first eliminated, with Disney star Kyle, 19, coming in second place.

Kyle was arguably the biggest surprise of the season. While most expected him to be out the first week, he was able to win the heart of many viewers and with his vastly improved dancing, was able to become the runner up.

Upon hearing she won the competition, Jennifer burst into tears. “I didn’t think I was going to compete tonight—and I’m really glad I did!” said Jennifer, having endured multiple injuries this season and almost quiting on more than one occasion.

“I had been asked for nine years and I said no out of fear,” she told TVGuide after the show. “I would’ve been robbed of this amazing experience had I not said yes and had the courage.”
