Brooks Ayers

Is Brooks Ayers faking cancer?

Last night’s episode of Real Housewives Of Orange County was psychic friends vs. psychotic love! The real question is – is a psychic really qualified to diagnose the validity of your cancer? Also, Shannon Beador pees herself when she runs – time for Lisa Rinna to get the ladies of RHOC a Depends connect.

Let’s just say this was an episode full of mixed messages – starting with Shannon’s parenting. Shannon’s pre-teen twins were caught toilet papering the neighbor’s house and Shannon is using this as an example of how she and David are a unified front. Shannon has NO tolerance for childhood pranks – she whips out her crystallizing zen goggles and attempts to stare her daughters down with the evil eyedometer set on ‘gentle,’ but her kids merely laugh. Shannon’s daughter Adeline calls Shannon out for being no fun unless she’s drunk and Shanon’s face freezes in a shocked expression.

Vicki Gunvalson & Brooks Ayers On WWHL For RHOC Season 10

Well, I certainly didn’t see this coming! Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers have parted ways, amicably ending their relationship and wishing each other well. Brooks, who kept the OG of the OC’s love tank filled for four years, was a polarizing addition to the Real Housewives of Orange County.

The couple was constantly defending their relationship–which caused a rift between family and friends–to anyone who would listen. Coming up on this season, Brooks will be accused of faking cancer (not to be confused with the time he was accused of hiring a hit man), although it’s a claim he and Vicki vehemently deny….of course, they also denied engagement rumors. The pair has issued a joint statement on their break-up through their PR representative.

The Real Housewives of Orange County - Season 10

As the Real Housewives of Orange County get ready to take on Tahiti, Vicki Gunvalson reflects on the sad season it’s been so far for her, and for some of her castmates. In her blog, Vicki weighs in on how she’s coping with losing her mom, her perspective on Shannon Beador’s marriage, and why Meghan Edmonds’ parenting skills “would never fly” in her home.

Vicki starts by sharing that she’s writing from Oklahoma this week, where she’s visiting Briana and her boys, Troy and Owen. “Troy will be three in September and Owen just turned one,” reports Vicki. “They are beautiful boys and so sweet. You will see them on the show later in the season when I come out and visit them, and they also came back to California for a few days so stay tuned.”

Vicki Gunvalson

We have a Real Housewives of Orange County newsflash for you on this Friday afternoon: Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers are not engaged.

Rumors were flying this morning, suggesting that Vicki and Brooks were engaged and crediting his cancer diagnosis as the catalyst for taking their relationship to the next level.  But according to Vicki, we shouldn’t be waiting by the mailbox for a wedding invitation anytime soon!  She released a statement via her rep this afternoon, denying the reports.

Meghan King Edmonds

Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds were guests on AfterBuzz TV this week. On the Real Housewives of Orange County after show, Meghan talked about editing, said Shannon Beador needs to “get over” her obsession with her age, teased what’s to come this season, revealed if she’d return to the show, and more.

As a reality TV newbie, Meghan listed “not running into the crew” and “having to wear fake eyelashes” as the only two things that took some getting used to. Otherwise, she was ready and willing to film, “Being on a reality TV show, you have to be okay in front of the cameras, otherwise you don’t have a story. You don’t have a show.”

Meghan Edmonds rejects Shannon's invite

Meghan Edmonds main storyline on this week’s Real Housewives of Orange County was mainly comprised of her angst about moving again with a man who can barely tolerate her, her inability to continue a lame argument with Shannon Beador (despite acting like a 13-year old on the phone) and standing around looking awkward while Vicki Gunvalson was reeling from the terrible news that her mother had suddenly passed away. In her blog, Meghan discusses deep thoughts, like how “Moving sucks!” and her new found appreciation for “old lady” games.

Reflecting on her 65th or so house relocation with hubby Jim Edmonds, Meghan shares, “Moving sucks! And watching this episode made me want to throw one of my empty boxes (from yet another move) at the television for minimizing the stress and overall terrible feelings that come with a move.” But, alas! Apparently Jimmy has seen the light about how hard poor wife #3 has it, what with her directing the packing and unpacking of his their property. “I know you hear me say that Jimmy doesn’t do any of the actual moving and that’s why he thinks it’s easy, well he didn’t up until we moved out of our four month rental. That was the first time he unpacked more than one box. And guess what, now he hates moving! Finally! You see him rummaging through a drawer, he wasn’t packing.”

The lawsuits surrounding the now defunct Vicki’s Vodka have lasted far longer than the company itself! Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers were investors in the company, which Vicki started with co-founder Robert Williamson III, but things went horribly awry. Don’t drink and do business deals, I suppose (and kid!)

The Real Housewives Of Orange County star has been battling the lawsuit for years, with Vicki and Robert going back and forth over Brooks involvement in their partnership. Robert even alleged that Brooks hired a hitman to try and take him out, but the embattled Brooks scored a huge victory when a Nevada Court Circuit judge has dismissed Robert’s suit as without merit.
