I wonder if I am the only one who loves Stephanie Hollman and LeeAnne Locken. They have been sworn enemies since Real Housewives of Dallas started, but I actually am a huge fan of both ladies. I know it makes zero sense, but I’m just holding out for them to have a surprise friendship like LeeAnne did with Brandi Redmond at the beginning of Season 2.
Unfortunately for me, that doesn’t seem to be a possibility that Stephanie is open to. At. All.
There’s no better way to start out your weekend than with the best reality star Instagram posts of the week. No need to scroll through your feed or type in all of the names that matter. I got you covered and there was a lot going on this week and this is aside from the Halloween festivities.
The entire Jersey Shore cast (minus one person) got together to celebrate Deena Cortese’s wedding, getting me all nostalgic. The Real Housewives of Dallas stars gathered with Andy Cohen to film the Season 2 reunion and posted a group photo to show off their glamorous ensembles (and spray tans…most likely). Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer went all out when they dressed up as famous pop stars for Halloween. The Vanderpump Rules cast were living it up with appearances at the World Series and an LA clothing store launch. The Southern Charm crew made it very clear that they are filming the next season because they were turning up all over Charleston doing shotskis, watching Monday Night Football, and attending restaurant openings.
The Real Housewives of Dallas wrapped up its second season this week and Cary Deuber is relieved that it’s over. (Well, except for those grueling reunion episodes, of course) She shares her final thoughts in the last blog of the season. Cary is glad for everything she went through with some of her co-stars is but is still confused by the level of nastiness coming from LeeAnne Locken.
Cary shares that she expects a certain amount of crazy, but she’s glad season two is done and over. “I have to admit, I’m ready to be done with this messy season. Of course, in situations like this, it’s expected to have one’s fair share of drama and scandal.” Adding, “However, I strongly feel that SO many of our group conflicts would have been completely avoidable had we all done better at communicating with each other, and as we’ve all seen over the course of this year, straightforward communication is easier for some than others. This applies to friendships AND relationships.”
Cary Deuber has a lot to say about last week’s episode of Real Housewives of Dallas. She admits she felt sad, defeated, and alone after Brandi-Land. “Love and trust – two qualities that I expect from my friends,” shares Cary. “Right now, I am not feeling either.”
About her talk with Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman, Cary explains, “I was respectful and direct with beginning my explanation. However,LeeAnne [Locken] didn’t want for the FULL story or my apology to be heard at all. When she didn’t get a reaction out of me, that’s when the glass throwing happened … I think it’s true when people are put under pressure, their true selves are shown.”
It feels like there is a revolving door of friendships on Real Housewives of Dallas– in a good way though. They argue, talk shit, make up, and the argue about something new. It’s the way Real Housewivesshould be- unlike some other shows in the franchise that drag out the same plot line for YEARS.
One of the many confusing relationships on RHODis the one between LeeAnne Locken and Brandi Redmond. Last season, they could not stand each other. Season 2 started out with Brandi being on the outs with her ride or die Stephanie Hollman and leaning on LeeAnne (of all people!) for support and that is why this show is actually so good in it’s second season: the story keeps moving forward.
To put it mildly, Kameron Westcott has not had the best reception from Real Housewives of Dallas fans. So it’s sadly not surprising that Andy Cohen asked “Does Kameron think she is better than everyone else?” during an audience poll on Watch What Happens Live. Hopefully watching this season back will allow Kameron to get it together if she returns next season, but she doesn’t seem to be fazed by the criticism.
