Last night’s season premiere of Survivor: One World definitely brought the twists. This go-round, the castaways are back in the South Pacific. However, it’s boys versus girls with both tribes sharing the same beach. It should be very interesting! (After watching and blogging, I have to say I am super excited about this season. They are mixing up the game, and I love it. Mee. Yow.)
The group meets Jeff Probst, and he immediately asks Kourtney, a woman wearing a jaunty Shamu-inspired knitted skull cap, where she fits in with her fellow Survivors. Her answer? Nowhere. Looks like someone isn’t forming alliances right off the bat! A guy wearing a sweater that Brad Goreski has seemingly tossed casually around his fashionable shoulders–he later calls himself the girl in the guys’ tribe–finds the group to be good looking, although not as handsome as himself. Another man named Greg who has dubbed himself Tarzan is ready to throw down island style.

Tonight marks the season premiere of Survivor: One World, the show’s twenty-fourth exciting season of ultimate endurance. This season takes the castaways back to the South Pacific for an extreme battle of the sexes as the two teams–the all-male Manono and the all female Salani–fight to remain on the island and win the $1 million dollar prize!
In another all-new twist, for the first time both tribes will share the same beach from the very beginning, allowing for alliances with the opposite teams to be forged from the start – meaning even bigger drama once the two tribes merge!
In a third exciting twist, the castaways will be confronted with hidden immunity idols for each tribe. If a castaway finds one of the hidden idols for their own tribe, they can keep it for themselves or give it to another castaway on their team. HOWEVER, if they find one of the other team’s immunity idols, it must be given to a person on the opposing team!
Host Jeff Probst also warned that the castaways will be randomly subjected to “Do It Yourself” challenges, or challenges without his supervision. Things are going to be very interesting this season! See a clip of tonight’s premiere below!

Next month marks The Amazing Race‘s 20th season as the ultimate competition reality show! Eleven new teams will travel around the globe to 22 cities and nearly 400,000 miles in the hopes of winning the $1 million dollar grand prize!
Among some of the crazy challenges the teams will face is skydiving in Argentina, training with Masai warriors in Tanzania and racing through Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” The teams will also embark on a culinary tour of Italy (color me jealous!) and visit King Ludwig’s quarters in the German castle that served as the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty’s castle in the infamous fairytale. Color me jealous, again!
It seems like only yesterday that a new Survivor winner was crowned and awarded the coveted $1 million dollar prize. Next month CBS returns to the islands for its 24th season of the ultimate competition show in Survivor: One World.
As always the castaways will be divided into two tribes; except this time it will be a battle of the sexes! The two tribes, the Salani women’s tribe and the Manono men’s tribe, are named after islands in Samoa. Meet the 18 new castaways (below) including the wife of a former NFL player and a little person!
The network recently released a sneak peak of the upcoming season, which features plenty drama on the island as the teams battle it out to be the last man or woman standing!
Survivor: One World premieres Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Jill tweeted: “Such great lunch with @kellybensimon as I walked home I passed by sonjas house and saw cameras. So happy it is behind me. So much ahead.”
A very brave and smart fan then tweeted to Jill that if she was tired of the so called “cameras” why didn’t she quit the show? Jill responded: “Maybe i did..but it doesnt matter. What is meant to be is how it is. I couldnt take stress and they knew it more than i did.” Just in case you’re wondering, she DIDN’T! Bravo fired her.
In other Jill news, an article appeared in Star magazine claiming she is in talks to join The Talk! (Thought she was tired of cameras?) After guest starring on the talk show, Jill told the mag, “I had a wonderful time appearing on the show, and it would be an honor and a dream to join such a respected, intelligent and successful group of women.”
While Jill has high hopes of being included in cast of respected, intelligent women (so far removed from the cast on RHONY!) her rep claims it’s not official! “She’s considering several exciting opportunities and we hope to make an announcement soon,” he explains.
Unfortunately for Jill a source close to the show debunks the rumors as completely untrue! “She’s not being considered as a replacement on The Talk,” the source scoffs. “There are lots of rumors that circulate, and this is one of them.” I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
In other RHONY news, Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps are up to their old tricks! Despite a recent report claiming the two had bonded over a HUGE pay raise, their statements to the press belie that idea! Following recent comments made by LuAnn, calling her “Ra-mean-a” and claiming that she wants nothing to do with her, Ramona is slamming LuAnn right back!
“I was quite surprised by LuAnn’s remarks I had just recently seen her at an event we were both invited to and she was more than friendly toward me,” Ramona snipes “In fact she was the one who came over to greet me,” Ramona claims.
Ramona then defaults to her old favorite of bashing LuAnn for commenting on her family (ummm.. Ramona does realize this works two ways, right?) “Luann seems to forget she attacked and went after my relationship with my husband and daughter. The reason I have a marriage of 20 years and a daughter who is an honors student is because I spend time with my family.”
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how LuAnn retaliates next. I have to say all this drama between the two of them is making me believe next season of RHONY is going to be exactly like the last! Perhaps Andy should have fired SIX housewives! Well, seven if you include Simon!

Would you watch Jill on The Talk? Do you think she’s behind the rumor that she’s joining the cast? Are you tired of the Ramona-LuAnn feud? Or are you ready for another round on RHONY Season 5?
Well, since she doesn’t have her one, true love aka reality TV, Kate Gosselin, formerly of Kate Plus 8 is drowning her sorrows in her white wine sitting at home, miserable and alone, waiting for the next on-camera gig to come calling!
Apparently while her 8 are at school, the cameras have disappeared, and she can no longer afford to shop away her boredom since she has “no firm job offers on the table,” Kate has become “depressed,” a source tells HollyBaby.com. Kate is “trying to come up with things to do,” the source explains, “but she’s miserable.”
Obliviously not handing the termination of her show well, Kate has no intentions of taking ex-husband Jon Gosselin‘s advice to embrace the “simple life,”and is seeking another job in front of the camera ASAP. Hey, she doesn’t want to have to add “Has-Been Reality Star” to her resume!
Kate, who wore a ‘Desperate For Camera Time’ sign throughout her barrage of TV interviews following TLC’s cancellation notice, “thought she’d get a job immediately or be offered to take her reality show to another network but she’s getting a wakeup call,” the source discloses.
Kate is apparently passing the time by “working on her website,” the recently launched KatePlusMy8.com, which offers advice to mothers from a woman who knows about raising kids without round the clock childcare, housekeeping, and private schools and gives fans (haha!) a glimpse into her life following cable TV! Unfortunately for Kate, so far the website has proven to be a paltry endeavor since people aren’t that interested in reading about what Kate eats for dinner or seeing her continue to make money off her children.
As for job prospects, the source reveals that Kate expects to be offered a spot hosting The Talk, but she is “still firming up the details” and even if she gets the job, “She would only host it for a week but then what?”
Not having stable income is a big deal for the fired mom of many, who recently Tweeted that she spends $700 a week on “organic” groceries feeding her brood! Well, Kate since you also spend $700 week on tanning, exercising, and hair dying that may have been where your trouble started! My question is: where is her bodyguard – isn’t he around to entertain her?

Do you feel sorry for Kate or are you tired of her pleas for attention? Should Kate attempt to get a real job and take ex-hubby Jon’s advice to embrace the simple life?
Last night the ninety minute premiere of Survivor: South Pacific aired on CBS. Two former Survivor staples and two-time previous game players Ozzy Lusth and Coach Wade are back to square off with the newbie castaways on an episode aptly titled “I Need Redemption.”
Right off the bat, we meet John “Cochran” Cochran who has watched every season of the show, and even wrote a prize winning paper on it while in law school at Harvard. Native American Elyse isn’t much into the outdoors, but she’s hoping her heritage will work to her advantage, and then there’s Rick a rancher from the Midwest. Stacey is a funeral director and mortician who promises to be nosy and while pretending to play nice. Russell Hantz’s (a former Survivor with multiple games under his belt) nephew Brandon likens himself to Hitler’s nephew and vows to change the perception of his family’s name. Maybe not the most accurate of comparisons, but he doesn’t want his fellow castaways to know that he shares the blood of a Survivor competitor who wouldn’t have won any popularity contests.
