She speaks! Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada has given her first interview since the domestic dispute with her soon to be ex-husband Chad Johnson. Evelyn sat down with Nightline to discuss her 41 day "fairytale" marriage, her continuing love for Chad, and that scary night.
Evelyn also claims to be a different person in "real life" than she is on her show. I don't mean to sound flippant, but I don't buy that for a second. No one deserves any kind of abuse–not Evelyn..and certainly not the women Evelyn has targeted in seasons' past.

Uh oh. Things continue to get worse for Chad Ochocinco Johnson. It seems that his prior bad behavior could possibly be used against him, and if so, he may be facing some jail time for head butting soon to be ex-wife Evelyn Lozada. Chad's violent past is coming back to haunt him.
While he's lost his wife (obviously), Miami Dolphins contract, reality show, and endorsement deals, Chad could also be facing some serious jail time. How serious? He could be sentenced to a year in prison!

In the sneak peek of the interview with 'Nightline', Evelyn shares "It's the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love. But you have to walk away because I have to protect myself."

Oh Chad. Chad, Chad, Chad, Chad, Chad. I feel like I’m chastising one of my former first grade students, yet he’s a grown a$$ man. Chad Ochocinco Johnson has gotten married and divorced within the period of a few months, head-butted his new bride Evelyn Lozada, got his new wedding spin-off cancelled, and was fired from the Miami Dolphins. That’s a lot for a day’s work. Now it seems he’s been just as busy trolling Twitter for mistresses. I guess he’ll never learn.
Ol’ Ocho’s dirty laundry has been airing ever since he became the punchline for every tabloid and blogger from here to kingdom come. Now it’s being reported that the former NFL star has had multiple affairs with women he’s met online. He’s a classy one for sure!

In light of the domestic violence charges in the very brief wedding of Basketball Wives‘ stars Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco Johnson, Evelyn has cancelled all her upcoming publicity engagements. I can’t say I blame her. When the news of Chad’s abuse arrest became public, Evelyn filed for divorce, the couple’s wedding spin-off Ev & Ocho was pulled by VH1, and Chad was fired from the Dolphins. Probably not Chad’s best week, I’d say. What a d-bag.
The second half of Evelyn’s scheduled book tour to promote The Wives Association: Inner Circle has been put on hold, as well as several club public appearances. Evelyn will no longer be appearing alongside RHONJ‘s Teresa Giudice at a September book expo. Sidebar, can you imagine those two ladies together? Teresa flipping tables and Evelyn hurling bottles of Fabellini? Terrifying!

It’s a sad day when TMZ is considered a viable source to which one goes with their legal and professional woes. And apparently Chad Johnson is in a very sad place. The former Ochocinco, who was married to Evelyn Lozada for a whopping 42 days before he head-butted his way right into divorce court and professional disgrace, has finally spoken out about his misdeed. Dang – their wedding photos were barely in the tabloids before their divorce papers were pending! Sheesh.
First of all the Basketball Wives star issued an apology “To everyone for the recent events that have occurred.”
“I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death. To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life,” Chad beseeches.

The crazy train of drama keeps rolling for Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and her soon-to-be ex husband Chad Ochocinco Johnson.
After getting into a physical fight over the weekend, which ended in Evelyn fleeing to the neighbor’s house and Chad winding up in jail, Evelyn has reportedly moved out of their home and is planning to press charges against her husband of less than 6 weeks. Evelyn reportedly told the police officers who took her statement that she intends to press charges against her husband, the recently fired Miami Dolphins wide receiver.
