I have, what I consider, to be bittersweet news. One of my favorites is quittingReal Housewives of New Jersey. I realize I'm likely in the minority, but I have a soft-spot for most of the Manzos. Sure I didn't like when Caroline Manzo got all bitter for an entire season (I was fearful someone was going to awaken to a horse head in their bed), but I do think she is sick of the toxicity and drama…even if she was a participant.
Even though it can certainly be argued that Caroline's children are overly coddled, I still think Albie and Chris are good guys. A friend of mine grew up with Albie, and he has nothing but nice things to say about their family. Of course, without the Manzo boys, there would be no Greg Bennett. Greggy is by far my favorite Manzo by association…and now he's leaving.
Greg is heading to the West Coast at the end of this month to make his home in San Francisco. Sadly (for me), this means he will no longer be appearing on RHONJ, but I'm hoping that he gets some screen time when he comes back to visit!
ThoseReal Housewives of New Jersey never take a day off. When they aren't filming, they are hard at work promoting their wares, trying to keep the ship afloat. Whether it's Teresa Giudice pimping her cookbooks, drinks and hair products, Melissa Gorga serenading us with her latest tunes, or the Manzo-Lauritas hawking their blk. water, these Jersey gals are workin' hard for the money.
This weekend was no exception. The blk crew, Caroline Manzo, Albie and Chris Manzo,Jacqueline Laurita and husband Chris, were at Stacks Pancake House in Paramus for a water tasting and bottle signing – and we have the pics for you!

The Sparkling Event, owned by Candice Laurita and Cristina Granelli, raised nearly $17,000 for Autism Speaks. Guests purchased raffle tickets for items like a trip to Mexico, Samsung Galaxy tablets, and thousands of dollars worth of skin care and makeup from CafFace in Franklin Lakes.
Oh those Manzo boys are quite the little business men, aren't they? First BLK Water and now a restaurant! Real Housewives of New Jersey'sAlbie and Chris have teamed up with two New York City based restaurateurs Michael Sinensky and Sean McGarr to open a place in Hoboken which will serve dishes created with local produce, meat, and seafood, as well as craft beers and wine.
The restaurant will be called Little Town New Jersey, and it already has a New York counterpart.
Our favorite reality TV stars can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
Above: Teresa Giudice makes her fans happy at a book signing event, “@Teresa_Giudice was super sweet! So happy @naomilaurenshif & I got to meet her”.
One of our readers (not the twitter photo above) shared with us last week that she attended one of Teresa’s signings and was blown away by her behavior – in a good way. You never know what you’re going to get when you meet a celebrity in real life, so it’s nice to hear positive stories! Keaira shared:
I attended one Saturday in Orlando. The line was wrapped around book shelves up and downstairs. There was a ton of people! She arrived about twenty minutes early, which was amazing and got started immediately. The crowd went crazy when she walked in. I would say that I was about 100 people back when she arrived and it took TWO hours to get to her table. This was because she allowed people to have long conversations with her and she even let people call others on their phones and she would talk to them. When I finally got to the table I was really nervous so I didn’t say much to her. She was so sweet! She signed her book and allowed me to take pictures on different phones. She was so patient (almost too patient). Like I said, I waited for two hours and when I left there was still a line that went all the way down stairs and people were still coming in. It was totally worth the wait!
On last night’s episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County, Alexis and Peggy quit each other and Peggy quit the show! We learned more about Heather and well, she’s very confident (and wealthy), isn’t she? Vicki and Tamra haul their boyfriends to Catalina where they proceed to embarrass themselves on national TV with a PDA orgy. Aaaahhh… The C in OC, certainly doesn’t stand for class, does it?
Things begin at Vicki‘s Cajun-themed dinner party where Peggy and Alexis face off over who is the boobiest, dumbest, and has the worst broken bone story! They tepidly make nice as they try to size each other up while peering over their enormous fake racks.
Apparently Peggy wanted to tell Alexis about her very vintage Jim experience, but Jim made her swear not to. When it was unearthed, Jim accused Peggy of stalking him and breaking into his house. Alexis being Alexis, decided it was exclusively Peggy’s fault that her husband didn’t deign to tell her about their fifteen year old relationship. Why wouldn’t Jim tell her from the get go and then they could laugh about it amongst friends? I sincerely doubt either Jim or Peggy wants to rekindle things.
