We are on episode 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The bad news? It was a pretty non eventful episode that only featured the highly entertaining nuttyness known as Danielle Staub for a few minutes. The good news? there’s only two more episodes left. Just two more episodes and the second season will be finally over. That is until the reunion comes around of course.

A while back, our genius reader gigi1234 had a highlarious view on what the reunion should would be like -

Dirty D [Danielle] – “Kim who, Teresa who, Manzo who?”
Dina – “I’m in such a spiritual place now I simply choose to not comment” sitting w/cat oil stains on her Dolce dress.
Jacqueline – “Yea I know Ashley has no life, no interest & is disrespectful BUT”
Chewbaca [Teresa] – “I can’t comment on the foreclures since it really only has to do w/my husbands business. You know Joe is an entremanure & aint he hot”
Caroline - will be on couch not saying a word nursing Albie”

Let’s all hope the NJ ladies can give us a great reunion show a la the Real Housewives of NYC, but please Bravo let’s not make it 3 hours. I simply don’t think I want to sit through 3 hours of everyone against Danielle.

Guess it’s time to get into last night’s episode. It starts off the Jacqueline and her hubby Chris deciding to pay the Giudices a visit at their luxurious mansion. Jacqueline mentions Joe received a DUI and is puzzled because “Joe was not drinking and was not drunk,” during their night out. Really Jacqueline? Not even one drink by Joe? Not sure I’m buying this.

Danielle and her feathered head ex-con buddy Danny are shown eating out and of course, the topic of Joe’s DUI is brought up. Before Danielle can fully dissect the issue, we are forced to listen to Joe’s lies explanation of his version of events. “I was tired, it wasn’t from drinking at all,” claims Joe.

It’s now back to Danielle and the former prostitution whore actually makes good sense when she wonders out-loud why Joe simply couldn’t call a cab, being that he could afford to. Wondering if he could actually afford to, you know following the bankruptcy and over-spending wife. Joe then tries to explain away his .11 alcohol level, saying he started downing shots once at his friend’s house, following the accident. According to the DailyRecord.com, this is a defense is known as a ”glove box defense,” or claim of drinking after an accident so a blood test reading would be invalid.

Unfortunately for Joe, the cops didn’t buy his glove box defense, with the cops stating that the witness Joe called to support his claim of drinking only after the crash ”completely lacked credibility” and ”was out and out lying.” Ouch.

It’s now back to Danielle, who believes Joe’s DUI is a result of karma. “I’m just going to continue living in the love and light that they make fun of, while their darkness rains upon them, says Danielle, who’s sex tape would be ultimately released just months after uttering these words.

And for the fans of the show who say Bravo shouldn’t have Danielle and her supporting cast on the show, well you know what they say – be careful what you wish for, as the next 55 minutes of the show will be Danielle free.

Teresa, Caroline and Jacqueline meet up and Teresa makes an interesting comment. “Since the accident, it has been a stressful time for us, cause it’s a small town, everybody talks,” states Teresa, who’s bankruptcy filing would be unveiled just months after uttering these words. If their small town was abuzz about Joe’s DUI, one can only imagine all the yapping that took place regarding their $11 mil debt.

And then randomly out of the blue, the three ladies decide that Joe’s arrest is too stressful for them to handle or something, as the talk of taking a trip to Italy is randomly brought up. This whole scene seems very staged, as Bravo PAYS for these trips taken by the housewives, including the infamous St. John trip for the NYC Housewives, and the Florida trip taken by the OC Housewives. The Atlanta housewives also took a trip for their upcoming third season. So basically, this scene is phony and the trip idea was Bravo’s.

Caroline heads over to the Brownstone to inform her bobby about the trip, and maybe it’s just me, but Al seems more and more disinterested in Caroline as the days go by. And in what seems like perfect foreshadowing, Al states he doesn’t want a trip with Teresa’s kids 18 kids running around. Jacqueline wants to bring her parents to be babysitters, while Teresa feels it would be a good idea to bring her parents “you know since that’s where they were born.” All the husbands are on board, and Italy is about to get some NJ trash coming their way! And by NJ trash, I mean the Jersey Shore cast Teresa Giudice.

It’s time to pack for the trip and the Giudice household seems more like a circus with all the little girls getting ready. We pan to the Manzo household and Al once again looks very disinterested and does not want to pack. We see Jacqueline packing, as she gives daughter Ashley some basic but telling house rules, ‘Don’t play house and don’t turn this place into a love-shack,’ are the two main rules. Jacqueline then informs us Ashley has to stay behind so that she can work and pay off her attorney bills, and a huge part of me wants to laugh out loud because I’m simply not buying this. How much are these attorney fees? And now much is Ashley really going to pay off with her part time job? Nope, not buying this one bit. I’ll take a guess here and estimate Ashley paid about a hundred bucks of the thousands and thousands of dollars in attorney fees.

The families gather at the Giudice‘s luxurious mansion to get ready and Caroline describes the scene as crazy with all the little kids running around. Jacqueline’s mother breaks a tacky vase, but luckily for future bidders, there are still many unbroken fabulous items belonging to Teresa, all up for auction on August 22 of course.

The Bravo housewives arrive in Italy with enough luggage for the entire state of New Jersey. “Venice is a town that’s made on water?” asks the common sense challenged Teresa. The boat trip ends and Teresa can’t wait to go to shopping, and no just any old store won’t do yall. Mama wants some Chanel! “Save a lot of money if we leave mommy here,” jokes Joe, with yet another financial joke this season. Are they even still “jokes” at this point? You know considering he says it with a stern voice, straight face and zero laughter.

And at this point and time, I notice we hardly ever hear Jacqueline bragging about the things she owns, her finances, or her great lifestyle. Anyone else notice this? Even Caroline brags every now and then, but not Jacqueline.

Joe and Chris are having drinks and Chris makes a quick but telling comment when he tells Joe that Teresa could have been hurt had she been in the car with him the night of the accident. Interesting scene here as it seems Chris is scolding Joe, rightfully so. The topic then turns to Danielle, and Chris, who is bearing a slight resemblance to the Ablie McHottie Manzo in this scene, makes a good point when he says the problem is likely Danielle as most of her friends and family are no longer in her life.

It’s a new day in Italy and the ever so thoughtful Teresa decides to give the grandparents some free time away from babysitting, and by relieving them of their babysitting duties, she means handing over the job to Caroline and Al, so that she and Joe can have some free time in the bedroom of course! Guess the Manzos don’t need the extra bedroom time.

It’s Milania’s birthday and after the cute bed scene with Joe wishing his little girl a happy bday, we hear Teresa utter the P word, that is Party, as in even while bankrupt on a ship in a different continent, Teresa is still throwing parties. Jacqueline is hungover from having one too many mojitas the night before, and is unable to make the party. The over the top cake arrives but Milania is fast alseep and would rather remain sleeping. Jacqueline is brought up during dinner, and everyone pretty much agrees that the drunk and hungover Jacqueline is the “real Jacqueline.” Ummmm ummm okay.

The episode ends, but fret not, there’s more Italian vacanza coming up next week. Yaaaay us! And I just realized this season, which was taped for a period of about 5 months, is almost over and yet we have seen a disagreement/argument between any of the other housewives excluding Danielle. You mean to tell me for a period of 5 months, Caroline and Jacqueline never got into it? I mean even family members have fights and arguments, however thanks to the ladies focusing solely on Danielle, we never get to see any of that and we never will, unless Bravo makes some big changes next season.

Sighs, I miss Watch What Happens.

TELL US: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE RECAP AND LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE OF THE NJ HOUSEWIVES?

Last night brought us the 13th episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, featuring the big showdown between Danielle Staub and former BFF Kim Granatell.

After watching the drama that took place between these two, I only have three questions. Who is nuttier between the two? Who is the bigger drama queen? And did Danielle finally meet her match in Kim G?

The episode begins with the morally and financially bankrupt Giudices, who have now come up with another creative way to continue living beyond their means, even after filing bankruptcy. Joe and Teresa visit the Brownstone to plan out yet another party. This time around, it’s for baby Audriana‘s christening and Teresa declares she wants ice sculptures. Teresa then reveals that the cause of Dina not being around anymore is Danielle. Evidently their close friendship only extended to being in front of Bravo cameras.

Next up we see Danielle pull up to a hospital, and we soon find out this TMI hospital visit is for her 16-year-old daughter’s first visit to see a OB-GYN, and I find myself asking if it was really necessary for Danielle to bring the cameras around for something so private. I mean it’s bad enough Christine has Danielle for a mother, is it really necessary to have her OB-GYN appointments filmed? Are we about to see poor Christine’s pap smear? Are the other home viewers as uncomfortable for Christine as I am at this point? Thankfully, we find out this appointment was more of a talking one. Danielle decides she isn’t done embarrassing her daughter on national television and proceeds to ask her if she’s having sex or “being a good girl” rather. An embarrassed Christine refuses to answer, and we get a HPV after school special. In this scene we also find out born again virgin Danielle does not date, not surprising considering she’s too busy making sex tapes with randoms.

Christopher Manzo is playing some pool with best friend John G. who just happens to be Kim G’s son. Kim G. decides to randomly show up with some popcorn for the adult men, and immediately gives us this awkward scene when she tries to get Christoper to arrange a playdate between she and Caroline. “Umm… Why don’t we go with you,” is what Chris is able to muster up. Kim G. is game and ready to do whatever it takes to become a regular on the show Caroline Manzo’s new BFF!

It’s the day of the wedding quinceanera christening and we see Teresa getting her girls ready. “Mom, where’s my purse? Can I wear my silver Juicy Couture one?” asks diva in training Gia. Teresa shares that Joe’s a little grumpy this morning due to working long hours in the pizzeria, oops his father’s pizzeria that is of course. Me thinks Joe’s a little grumpy cause he had just gone bankrupt trying to make his wife happy, but that’s just me.

Dina Manzo, who seems to be even more zen than usual, shows up and is ready to dress her Goddaughter. And how many times does Dina use the word ‘beautiful’ in this episode by the way? Teresa then shares with us reason #183 she is bankrupt, when she reveals she always hires professional photographers and videographers for all her kids’ christenings.

Danielle decides to pay a visit to the three-faced Kim G. and in what we can only describe as foreshadowing, Danielle is seen going on and on about Kim G. being her “dearest friend” in her personal interview. Danielle brings up her adopted mother and shares that her mother was not able to protect her from a lot of abuse that took place while growing. As part of her new love and light outlook on life, Danielle reveals she wants to try to find her real mother. “I just want to smell her. I want to smell my mom,” says a tearful Danielle.

Kim G. offers to help Danielle and the love-fest between the two peas in a pod, who might or might not have fallen the same exact tree branch coincidentally, continues. “Next lifetime, can one of us be a man?” asks Danielle implying the two would be perfect together as a couple. And by next lifetime, Danielle means a few more months, you know when she realizes the amount of publicity that can be generated from a faux same-sex relationship.

It is now time for the christening party as the guests fill up the Manzo Brownstone. Jacqueline jokingly states the christening was very Teresa like and more like a wedding. And when she says “very Teresa like,” she means way over the top, unaffordable and beyond her means. We see more of Christoper Manzo, who states he put the “circus” together. Great choice of words there Chris! And despite the fact that Dina did most of the work planning the event, Mama bear Caroline loves her baby and is ready & willing to give Chris credit for the event, saying she is very proud of him.

“Every time I throw a party, I go all out. Over 200 people drinking, dancing, having a great time. We party all night,” says the bankrupt Teresa. Before the party ends, Joe makes yet another money joke when he states he is leaving early because he doesn’t want to see the bill.

Danielle is out with her two daughters during which Christine reveals her friend overheard the eyebrow lady, who had overheard Teresa, talking about Danielle’s plan to search for her birth mom. Danielle reveals she’s a little upset, and for the first time in the Real Housewives of New Jersey history, it seems Danielle actually does have a right to be upset and isn’t overreacting to something. It’s very understandable that Danielle should be the one to tell her daughters about something this personal. Danielle takes a step out to place a phone call to her girlfriend Danny, as they both contemplate the next action Danielle needs the take. I’m guessing Danielle’s lightist was busy or something.

Caroline pays her baby Christopher a visit at work, during Chris tells her about Kim G’s wish to hang out with her. Caroline isn’t having it, and states “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Caroline once again makes perfect sense this episode when she wonders why Kim G. wants to hang out with her, when she was just with Danielle at the courthouse.

Kim G. decides to pay neighbor Jacqueline a visit, saying she was just passing by, and by passing by, she means someone had alerted her that the Bravo camera crew was around. Kim G. immediately begins her cursing tirade. “She’s such a motherf*cker,” says the classy one, just seconds after apologizing for using an earlier curse word in front of Jacqueline’s infant son. Kim G. states that Danielle’s big offense is that she emailed others telling them not to be friends with her, before going on and on about what a great friend she has been to Danielle. Jacqueline tries her best to keep a straight face before going on to tell Kim G. she is two faced by going back and forth between she and Danielle. “She can go f*cking scratch my ass okay, I’m done with her,” states Kim G.

Finally it’s the big showdown between Danielle and Kim G. The confrontation begins and Danielle brings up Christine finding out about her search for her birth mother. Oddly enough, Kim G. never denies telling Teresa or any of the others about Danielle’s business. The argument escalates and Kim G raises her voice, causes a big scene and even throws a napkin at Danielle, and for the first time it seems Danielle might have just been out-crazied. Danielle, appearing a bit taken back by Kim G’s dramatics, decides to walk up and leave. “Kim G. showed her true colors, and it was a huge display of disgusting,” Danielle says in her interview.

Kim G. follows Danielle and continues her over the top rage outside, giving us the best quote of the night, “You have no friends, look at you, you’re going to be a old f*cking old lady with your fake and square f*cking tits.” And end scene. Must say Kim G. is truly a classless piece of work. It’s really a wonder she and Danielle couldn’t make their friendship work, as they are both very deserving of one another.

TELL US: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE RECAP AND LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE OF THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NJ?

We are now onto the 12th episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and while it wasn’t as good as next week’s episode will be, it was still very interesting to say the least.

There are two angles one can go with in doing this recap. One is we finally get to meet Tom Staub, the man behind the legend, you know the man who decided Danielle Staub was fit to be his wife and the mother of his children. The other angle is Teresa Giudice of course, who was one of the most searched people on the internet yesterday thanks to the news of the impending public auction of her home items, and her thirst for diamonds, you know considering this episode was taped just a few weeks after she signed off on the bankruptcy documents. Oh what the hey, I say let’s go with both angles!

The episode starts off with some precious family time with the Giudices as they do monopoly night. When Joe wasn’t busy threatening to kick one of his daughters, Teresa decides to bring up their upcoming 10th anniversary. Teresa can’t believe she and Joe have been married for 10 years because “it feels like 5.” Teresa asks the kids for anniversary gift ideas and one of their daughters suggests chocolate and flowers, but bankrupt Teresa makes it clear that’s not good enough. Joe has an even better suggestion, when he jokingly suggests the $100 luxury tax ring, before retracting it, joking saying that he couldn’t even afford that. Must say the financial jokes by Joe are very telling. Notice how they seemed to start just a few episodes ago? Teresa however makes it clear there will be no hanky panky for one month if Joe doesn’t come through, and I can’t help but wonder if Teresa can even go a week with no hanky panky from Jiucy Joe.

Danielle decides to meet up with her friend/party planner to plan a party for herself her daughter Christine‘s sweet 16. Danielle then lets us know she plans to make this a memorable party for herself Christine because she never had a birthday party “thrown to” her until she was 47-years-old. Really Danielle? Not even a party at 1? 10? 16? 18? 21? 30? 40? 45? Well since Danielle is not known to ever lie or exaggerate, I will go ahead and take her word for this.

Christine reveals her idea to donate all proceeds from her party to a charity and Dirty D decides this is a perfect moment to take credit for Christine’s idea because that’s her daughter and she gave birth to her. And I take a moment to ponder how Danielle’s daughters seem to have turned out amazing and well grounded in spite of their mother. Danielle asks Christine if she wants to invite her father and Christine answers yes. Danielle then lets us know that Tom hasn’t been the best father in the world to his daughters, and I can’t help but wonder if Danielle is being truthful about this, or just trying to paint her ex in a bad light out of vengeance, not that this is Danielle’s MO or anything.

Jacqueline and Caroline meet up and yet again Caroline is making perfect sense when she advises Jacqueline to distance herself from the three-faced Kim G. and focus on her daughter.

The Giudices and the Lauritas have a get together during which Joe, who looks rather stressed, ponders what to get his wife for their upcoming 10th anniversary. Joe mentions the 10-year gift has to be a “big one,” bankruptcy be damned. Teresa, who just signed off on bankruptcy papers to the debt of $11 mil a few weeks earlier, is then shown having a conversation with Jacqueline. “I love diamonds, diamonds and diamonds and diamonds,” says the bankrupt Teresa when asked what she wants for her anniversary by Jacqueline. And how genius are the show’s editors for choosing the oh so perfect background music for this ridiculous scene.

And it’s now that time of the show, when we get to see the hotness known as Albie Manzo. This time around, Albie is sporting a buzz cut, which might or might not be slightly taking away from his hotness, and we find out Albie has joined the police academy while waiting to get into a new law school. Must say it’s nice to see a Manzo with ambitions that go beyond the Brownstone.

It’s back to party planning time, and Danielle informs Christine that her younger sister, Jillian, will be performing at her birthday party. And all I can say is move over Kris Jenner! There’s a new pimp extraordinaire stage mother in town. It seems Danielle is also as surprised as we are at how grounded her kids seem to be, because she once again mentions how great of a mother she is. “I must be doing something right,” exclaims Delusional D. Once Christine leaves the room, we hear a shy Jillian say she’s not really excited about performing because she doesn’t want to sing in front of people. Is this just Jillian experiencing normal nerves? or is this Jillian being pushed by her mother to do something she really doesn’t want to do? Not quite sure, but we do see Jillian burst into tears and Danielle attempts to console her.

It’s finally anniversary day for the Giudices and Teresa reveals Joe has a surprise for her. Joe, still looking somewhat stressed and disinterested about the whole event, tries to put on a happy face for his wife. The day starts out with a helicopter ride and champagne. Teresa asks Joe, “Can we go to the Hamptons?” Joe replies sternly, “They’re closed.” Good save there Joe. And since when does the Hamptons “close” and open? Oh well, it doesn’t matter! Teresa is a moron and believes the Hamptons is closed for business. They get to their Jersey hotel and Teresa receives her surprise gift – Diamonds!

And in this scene, we get a clear understanding of why the Giudices are bankrupt with $11mil in debt. Oddly enough, in her one on one interview, Teresa acknowledges the economy has affected Joe’s businesses, but really who cares? They are now debt free and Mama’s got her diamonds! I don’t even know what Joe and Teresa were thinking, if they were even thinking at all. Did they not know their bankruptcy filing would become public knowledge?

This entire scene is just so disgusting and wrong on many different levels. I mean it was filmed only a few weeks after they filed bankruptcy, and Teresa cannot play dumb because she signed the papers as well. The very little remorse I had for these two is completely gone. The only ones that have my sympathy are their kids. And oh yeah, we get a TMI scene with Teresa riding Juicy Joe and umm yeah, moving right along.

Danielle and her kids are getting ready for the Sweet 16 party and as the kids get ready, Danielle mentions the fact that her ex-husband will be in attendance with his new wife. So what’s a drama queen/attention whore to do? Well if you’re Danielle, you spring out your old engagement ring. Yes she really went there, and seriously, who does this? Christine mentions to her crazy mommy the fact that she’s been “divorced for like three years.” Must say it’s never a good sign when the kids have more common sense than the parent.

Jacqueline decides to teach Ashley some kind of lesson or reward or something by driving her to the post office to pick up her summons. Not sure what the lesson is here, perhaps making her walk would have made more sense. Ashley reads her summons and laughs along the way. We find out she is being charged with harassment and assault. Ashley reveals she will be pleading guilty to the much lesser charge of simple assault. Ashley tries to make light of the situation and Jacqueline is not happy with the smart alec.

We see the lavish location for the sweet 16 party, and Christine & her friends getting their hair and make up done. And I wonder who is paying for all this, you know since Danielle is suppose to be broke and all. It seems Danielle read my mind, as she later takes the time to mention that all the party items were donated because the party is for charity. And how exactly is this party for charity? Does she mean the gifts Christine will be receiving will be donated? Will the party-goers be charged a cover charge? Where exactly are these charity proceeds coming from?

While I ponder these questions, Kim G. arrives and Danielle mentions she is hurt by the fact that Tom’s new wife is a few years younger than her, and by a few years, she means two decades. But Danielle is however ready to move on from all the drama, and what better way to move on than to wear your old engagement ring?

Tom and his new wife arrive, and we finally get to see where the girls get their looks from. Danielle rushes over to give them hugs. A few moments later, she decides to give Tom another hug, and judging from Tom’s stern reaction, it’s obvious he’s not buying whatever it is his ex-wife is trying to sell. I once again wonder why this man, or any man for that matter, would decide Danielle Staub was wife or mother material. I simply don’t get it. Not much is known about Tom, other than he is/was the CEO of Aerobics, Inc. The company has however filed for bankruptcy in May 2010. And according to Danielle’s memoir, she met Tom while working at a strip club. His new wife’s name is Colleen Fairman Staub, and based on the information on her private facebook page, they are expecting a son.

Jillian does her cute performance, and Danielle, who’s sex tape was just released in June, mentions the party was a huge success before going on to declare she is the “best mom in the world.”

We get one more mandatory scene with Jacqueline and her husband Chris playing good cop/bad cop with Ashley, and if it feels like you’ve seen this scene many times over, it’s because you have. Ashley yells, Jacqueline yells, Chris plays peace maker, nothing gets resolved and Ashley is still a brat.

And we’re on to the previews for next week, which will bring a major confrontation between Kim G. and Danielle. Should be good.

Watch What Happens - With Bethenny Frankel and Kim G. as guests, I was expecting a much better episode that what was shown, but perhaps I should have realized Jeff Lewis was not on again. Andy Cohen did a crappy job with his Kim G. questions, and we didn’t really learn anything new. Some people mentioned last week that Jeff Lewis should replace Andy on the show, and I can’t say I disagree. Bethenny was however funny in mentioning how Kim G. had managed to finagle her way into being a regular on the show. Oddly enough, the poll question yesterday was who would the viewers want as a mother. The choices? Caroline, Teresa, Jacqueline, Danielle and Kim G. Caroline won the poll with 70% of the votes, with Teresa coming in a surprising second with 19% of the votes.

UPDATE: As suspected, Danielle was indeed just trying to paint her ex-husband in a negative light. Here’s what Jacqueline had to say on twitter – “Their Dad goes to EVERY track meet, dance recital,everything!He also gets them every weekend so I don get why she acts like he doesn’t on tv.”

More drama on tonight’s episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, titled ‘Youth Will Be Served.’

Danielle Staub’s youngest daughter Jillian prepares for her big break to be debuted at her sister, Christine Staub’s Sweet 16 birthday party. But when she expresses a few insecurities, Danielle encourages her daughters to put themselves out there…whether it’s performing a song or pursuing a career in modeling; does she push her daughters too hard or is she being a supportive mom? It also seems Jillian and Christine’s father aka Danielle’s ex-husband, Thomas Staub, will make an appearance on the show tonight.

Also celebrating a big occasion, Teresa and Joe look forward to their 10th wedding anniversary. With all of the rumored money issues that the Giudice’s are experiencing, will Teresa get the diamonds she’s been hoping for or will the celebration be a letdown? Find out tonight at 10/9c on Bravo.

In other news, another day, another new unflattering story about Teresa Giudice. The NYPost is reporting today that the broke Real Housewives of NJ star, who’s home items will be getting auctioned off next month, demanded $3,000 to appear at a charity event for abused women.

The Post reports a manager for Teresa said she would only appear at the July 19 New Jersey fund-raiser for Strengthen Our Sisters if she was paid. The event organizer told the Post, “Mike Esterman, who books her appearances, said . . . she would not show up unless she got paid. I explained this was for a shelter for women and children. Esterman however attempts to defend his client Teresa telling the Post, “I made it clear I only handle her paid appearances, and the fee is $3,000 and a car service. I said charity events have to be agreed by Teresa personally, and they should reach out to her directly.”

In other Teresa news, a new scandal is brewing in the form of Pizzagate. It all stems from Teresa’s comments during the last episode of the NJ Housewives during which she mentioned that she buys frozen dough to make her pizzas.

The only problem? It just so happens that Teresa has a dough recipe in her cookbook Skinny Italian, for what she calls the “best crust in the world!” This is leading some of Teresa’s fans to question the honesty and integrity of her book.

Weeks after making a surprise exit on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, 40-year-old Dina Manzo is finally breaking her silence on why her fellow castmate, Danielle Staub, caused her to leave the show.

The NYDailyNews is reporting that in a new interview with Life&Style magazine, out this week, Dina reveals the real reason she walked away from the hit show was because Danielle tried to have her daughter taken away. This would also explain the big meltdown Caroline Manzo had during last year’s reunion when she declared she would never forgive Danielle for what she did to Dina.

If you recall, Danielle claimed earlier this year that Dina forged her ex-husband’s signature in order to have her daughter Lexi appear on the first season of the Bravo show. Dina however denies Danielle’s claims, saying both she and her ex-husband gave permission.

“My ex husband was well aware of Lexi’s involvement in the show,” Dina told the mag. “She would often call him with details after a day of shooting.”

However once the show aired and her ex saw the content, he decided he wanted Lexi off the air. It was this moment, according to Dina, that Danielle began to spread malicious lies in an attempt to turn Lexi’s dad against her.

“She told my ex’s family that I’d actually forged his signature on the contracts, which I did not,” Dina said. “She knew she could work on his emotions, so she supplied him with every phone number of everybody he’d need to follow through with a lawsuit – contacts at Bravo, our production crew and her attorneys.”

Fortunately for Dina, her ex did not believe Danielle’s story and never tried to sue her. “She thought more would come of it, like I could lose custody,” Dina explained. “She just wanted to hurt me.”

Dina also denies Danielle’s other allegation that her husband, Tommy Manzo, has left her for a girlfriend. “Tommy lives right here with me and is happy as a clam,” she said. “Things are better than ever.”

In other NJ news, Danielle hit the premiere of the ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice‘ in New York City yesterday night. Danielle brought along her two children and her faux girlfriend Lori Michaels.

Must say after three weeks of watching the new season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, I am simply not impressed. Compared to the Real Housewives of NYC, the show seems to be falling flat and the Danielle drama is getting very old. Will touch more on this later.

But on to the recap of last night’s episode. First we get a quick rehash of Jacqueline’s argument with her teenage daughter Ashley Holmes, who is now living on her own. Jacqueline is in a tough spot with parenting Ashley because Ashley is now an “adult” and no longer living under her roof. I can’t help but feel that had Jacqueline done a better job with parenting Ashley earlier on, things would be better between them now. Jacqueline herself has admitted to making parenting errors with Ashley. This also brings up a point that I feel strongly about which is that just because a kid turns 18, doesn’t really make them an adult and ready to be on their own. A girl like Ashley should still be living at home in my opinion. I’m guessing Jacqueline might be helping her financially in some shape or form. Perhaps cutting her off financially until she stops being rude would help her straighten up.

Moving on to Danielle who receives flowers from Jacqueline congratulating her daughter Christine on her modeling debut. You can see some modeling shots of Christine below. Jacqueline has stated in an earlier episode that her husband does not want her befriending Danielle, but for some reason Danielle is persistent on becoming BFFs with Jacqueline again and even decides to leave her a scolding message, accusing her of not being her own woman.

One thing I really want to touch on is Danielle’s parenting skills and why she insists on involving her innocent children in her drama and in adult issues. This started in the premiere episode when she took her kids along a car ride to stalk Caroline’s event. Her kids looked and acted embarrassed. And then last night, her youngest daughter, who once again looked mortified, asked to be excused as Danielle decided to call Jacqueline. And once again, Danielle decided to unload her adult drama onto her young daughter. Does this woman not have any friends? Involving her children in her drama is simply wrong and unnecessary. Poor kids. I’m really curious to know more about the man who decided to marry Danielle and make her the mother of his children. Danielle’s ex-husband’s name is Thomas Staub or Gerald Staub. And how amazing was it last week when Christine Staub was photographed by Gilles Bensimon, the ex-husband of Kelly Bensimon of the NYC Housewives? I found that interesting for some reason considering Gilles has never made an appearance on the NYC Housewives. Something else that robbed me the wrong way was a joke or non-joke Danielle made during an earlier episode about Christine being able to help her financially with her modeling career. Just wrong, wrong, and more wrong. Putting that kind of pressure on a 15 year-old girl is wrong and disgusting. There’s a good chance that Christine, despite being very gorgeous,, might not make it in the modeling world, so why even say that kind of thing? It’s become rather obvious that Danielle sees her daughters as meal tickets as she is also pushing her 12 year-old to get into the music industry, even calling her the next Miley Cyrus. Plus is it just me or does Danielle seem to be living vicariously through Christine’s new found career?

Next we see Teresa and Dina meet up at Dina’s house, which for some reason continues to look like like Liberace throw up. I find the whole interior to look gaudy, cheap and outdated, but back to the conversation at hand. The hot topic is Danielle of course. I’m starting to think with no Danielle, this season would be even more boring than it already is.Teresa calls Danielle a “ho bag,” which seems to be the hot word of the moment, while Dina starts to realize Danielle is not a changed woman. Dina makes a good point when she says Danielle does not take rejection well. Another thing I’ve noticed about Danielle is that she is a very vindictive woman when things don’t go her way.

The ladies then prepare their daughters for fashion week. Christine has someone come help her with her walk and she is a bit moody and perhaps isn’t as interested in modeling as her mother is. Teresa and her hubby Joe drive their daughter Gia to fashion week, and Gia tears up because she feels her dad ” is mean.” This scene is a bit tough to read. The easy thing to do would be to call Joe an insensitive a-hole, but I won’t judge him based on this scene alone. Really not sure what to say about this scene, ummm.

Moving on to the fashion show. Both girls perform well despite Christine getting sick and having to leave the stage towards the end of the show. Danielle for some reason doesn’t believe the other women can be genuinely happy for her daughter. And oh yeah, Danielle reveals her plans of flying to Milan alongside her soon to be supermodel mealticket daughter.

Overall, this season hasn’t lived up to its hype as I expected. I believe Bravo should have added new cast members to this franchise. The NYC franchise didn’t need two housewives, this one did. The ladies vs Danielle drama has gotten old and stale, but unfortunately it seems that will be the ONLY drama we get this season. Why you might ask? Well for one reason, three of the five ladies on the show are related and while they will get into little tiffs here and there, the fact that they are family will not allow them to get into any major feuds ala Jill vs Bethenny, or Bethenny vs Kelly, or Alex vs Jill, or Ramona vs everyone on the NYC Housewives.

The women not wanting to interact with Daniele is understandable but unfortunately makes for a boring season. Adding new housewives would have made things more interesting and perhaps bridged the gap between the ladies and Danielle. Bravo will definitely need to make some major changes for the next season.

Tonight marks episode 2 of the new season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.  Last week’s season premiere brought us anti semitic comments, stalking, and one can only wonder what is to come in episode 2.

Well tonight, we will see Jacqueline and her daughter Ashley Holmes butt heads over Ashley’s bad girl behavior, while Danielle’s daughter, Christine Staub,  is invited to model in NYC Fashion Week. Meanwhile Danielle decides to extend an olive branch to Dina and Jacqueline by inviting them to celebrate Christine’s success in an effort to move forward. Will they show up? Well, we’ll get to find out tonight at 10/9c on Bravo.

Meanwhile, the drama continues to carry on off screen for the NJ Housewives. The latest is that some of the housewives, including Jacqueline Laurita, might not return for a third season if Danielle is still on the show.  Jacqueline told the NYPost, “So I’ll be honest, I don’t know that I will continue to film if Danielle is on the show.”

And then in a new interview with Steppin Out magazine, Teresa shares that Bravo is “trying to get rid of” Danielle Staub. “They want to phase her out,” she said. “It doesn’t make sense to have her on the show. We don’t hang out with her. So what’s the point?”

Well upon hearing Teresa’s comments, Danielle didn’t take to possibly being kicked off the show and had some choice words for her co-star.  “No truth to this or anything that comes out of that ignorant bitch’s mouth,” said Danielle.  And there you have it folks.

The second season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey does not premiere until May 3rd, but the back and forth between the cast and slandering each other in the press has officially began.

HollywoodLife caught up with Dina Manzo and asked her about fellow castmate, Danielle Staub. “Danielle loves drama. She loves every second of it and being the center of attention whether it’s positive or negative,” said Dina.

The site then caught up with Danielle a few days later, informing her of Dina’s comments. Here’s what Danielle had to say, “I’m not going to put stock in her opinion. I think it’s really easy for Dina to judge — she’s never really left home. She’s the youngest of 11 children. She went from mom and daddy to husband number one and her sister found her husband number two. People are figuring out I’m not the person that [the wives] make me out to be.”

When asked what we can expect from the upcoming 2nd season, Dina reveals, “It’s a lot of crazy.” She continues, “We’re Jersey so we keep it real and we’re a little bit more street than the other housewife series. We’re not afraid to show everything – the good, the bad, the ugly. And you don’t mess with us either!”

In other Jersey news, Danielle also revealed that her 12 year-old daughter, Jillian Staub, is the “new Miley Cyrus.” Apparently Jillian is a great singer and has just recorded her first sing, “Whatcha Saying.”

“Any age group will be interested in listening to Jillian’s music,” says Danielle. “It’s clean, fresh, fun and entertaining. I call it pop with a little twist of soul. She has a great pop voice and it’s not like lollipops and bubble gum but yet you could eat some pizza and have some fun. You have a journey with her music. I think she’s relateable and she’ll touch a wide group of people.”

Good to see nice things happening for Danielle’s daughters, her other daughter, Christine Staub, 16, is also a model with IMG.

Danielle Staub, star of the Real Housewives of New Jersey recently experienced some heartbreak as she recently lost her mother.

According to PEOPLE, Ruth Merrill died on March 21 after having a stroke at the age of 75 in Athens, Penn. Her funeral was held this past Thursday.

Danielle, pictured above with her 2 daughters — Christine and Jillian — shares that her mom will have some appearances on the new season of the NJ Housewives, set to premiere May 3.  “She’s on the show a little bit, she’s definitely a voice of reason with me,” reveals Danielle. “She was a sweet woman, she adopted me, I was her miracle. She was one of the most energetic women. She was a very religious woman, a God-fearing woman.”

As for whether or not her co-stars offered their condolences, Danielle answered no and explained that she did not expect them to. “We know how they feel about me,” said Danielle of her costars. “They weren’t my friends before the show, they weren’t friends with me on the show, and they won’t be friends with me when the show has come and gone. I don’t expect them to reach out to me. I would actually be shocked. I would prefer not to have people be fake around me.”

Some of her fellow housewives are however responding to her comments. Jacqueline Laurita tweeted, “Last she told me, she had NO contact w/her Mom in many years & had NO desire to. News to me.Must be new in the past few months. Sad to hear.”

Teresa Giudice also had the following to say via a tweet, “Just found out that Danielle’s mom passed away may she rest in peace..”

Hide your tables! Bravo has announced the second season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey will return on May 3rd.

And based on the video preview below, this new season will not disappoint. As for what we can expect, well the infamous hair pulling incident that occurred during a fight between Danielle Staub, Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita will be shown. Danielle ended up pressing charges against Jacqueline’s daughter, Ashley Holmes, for yanking out her hair extensions.

We also get to see the birth of Teresa’s fourth daughter, the debut of Danielle’s daughter, Christine Staub, on the catwalk at New York Fashion show, plus a trip by most of the women to Venice, Italy. Oh yeah, there are also stripper poles, police officers, and some boxing.
