We haven’t heard much from Angela “Big Ang” Raiola recently as the beloved reality star has been battling throat cancer. However, after opting for two major surgeries instead of chemotherapy, the Mob Wives scene-stealer is recovering well after doctors removed a tumor the size of a lemon from her throat.
Big Ang is rarely filmed for the VH1 series without an ever-present cigarette dangling from her giant painted lips, but that is no longer the case. Diagnosed in March, Big Ang immediately gave up the nasty habit cold turkey. She’s ready to be back in business, and her struggle with cancer, as well as relationship stresses with husband Neil Murphy, will be featured on the upcoming season of Couple’s Therapy.
VH1 has decided that we all need a little more Dr. Jenn Berman Mann in our lives. Clearly, VH1 is wrong, but I digress. Yesterday, the network announced a Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn spin off, Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn.
Mark your calendars – season six of Couples Therapy premieres Wednesday, October 7th. In addition to the premiere date, VH1 has released a sneak peek of the new season, which features several reality TV stars. Because, of course.
Check out the Couples Therapy season 6 sneak peek trailer below, on which Big Ang gives Dr. Jenn the look of death, Joe admits he’s in love with two women, Janice breaks down in tears, Scott talks about his troubles, and more.
The Teen Mom OG star, who has a way with words – and everything else, announced her split from Simon on instagram to celebrate “National Ex Day,” accompanied by a photo of the two of them kissing. Farrah praised the moment as fond memories.
Farrah Abraham‘s interviews never fail to amuse me, and her latest, talking to Cosmo after they named her one of the Internet’s Most Fascinating People, was no exception. The Teen Mom OG star explained how she deals with her haters, why her fans admire her, how she’s changed over the years, and much more. The highlights:
There are many words in Farrah‘s portfolio of literacy but humble is not one of them. “No matter what I’ve been doing, I’ve been doing the best in it that we know of,” she said. “What I’m saying by that is, if I’m developing novelty toys, I’m winning awards. If I’m writing books, I’m a New York Times best seller – how do I do it all? I don’t know.”
I am shocked to see Scott Stapp‘s name on the list so soon after his psychotic break and subsequent diagnosis of bipolar disorder. I wish nothing but the best for Scott and Jaclyn but I personally don’t think a reality show (at least not this show with this doctor) is a healthy environment for him right now.
The former Couples Therapy star made a sex tape, it founds its way to Vivid Entertainment headquarters, and Steven Hirsch has offered Courtney big bucks for the rights to the tape. I can’t even snark about this. It makes me sad.
The only positive… Courtney‘s sex tape is a solo effort. No Doug Hutchison.
Jon Gosselin loves the limelight (and scandals) so it’s no surprise that the former reality star is considering a run for public office. However until his political career takes off (*snort) the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is satisfying his quest for fame an attention by working as a DJ.
Jon recently played a gig at Boston’s Julep Bar where he claims it was so packed “they had to turn people away.” They wanted to gawk at reality TV’s biggest failure? Of his new passion for music, Jon gushes, “I love it!” It’s no surprise that serial relationship failure Jon found his newest “occupation” through an ex-girlfriend, who worked for the music company Eclipse Entertainers, which has now signed Jon.
To perfect his craft, he’s taking working with Wyomissing DJ Koolie Kirk because he needs to “learn so much more.” Ahhhh… that’s commitment Jon! “It’s hard,” Jon insists. “It’s not easy or everyone would do it.”
